      Zack and the entire Best Choice Roofing Staff were very professional and were great to work with. Their service is marked by efficiency and punctuality. Zack made the process so simple and hassle free. I highly recommend Best Choice Roofing and their staff to meet all your roofing needs.(And they are trustworthy, which says a lot in today's world.)

      My husband and I are both experienced in roof repair and have done so 6 times in our lives. At our age we thought it better to hire it done. We were assured our roof would be professionally done for the sum of $14350.00. The crew brought in were not supervised, tried to cut corners, would not have even told us of 5 spots in our roof that needed repair/replacing and had my 71 year old husband not climbed a ladder to inspect what was being done would never have been corrected. They tried to cover the rotted spots in our roof with underlay, without telling us of the needed repair, tried to short sheet the underlay instead of overlapping it, did not put down tarps all the way around our home, threw shingle debris down on our HVAC and lawn and left an unrolled strip of nails from one of their nail guns on the lawn where it had been dropped (which was found over a day later). I am posting this not for personal gain but in warning to all to supervise if a team is sent to do your roof.

      I used this company to replace my roof in July, 2024. My home was built in 1947 and the roofline has 6 gables that require flashing around 4 of them. They stripped the entire roof and covered it with underlayment. They had about 25% of the roof completed when a severe thunderstorm rolled in. We had a heavy downpour with frequent lightening. Needless to say, I had water damage throughout my home on both floors. I want to point out that prior to the storm, I called the Hickory office. Travis informed me that I had nothing to worry about. I asked if they would tarp my roof and he said it wasn't necessary. It has been a nightmare. I had to file with my homeowners. They, in turn, litigated with the other insurance company. I did get money to make repairs but it was not enough. I had to pay over $1500 out of pocket. In addition, my home was a construction zone for 3.5 weeks. My kitchen was not usable for 8 days as it was totally wrapped in plastic. Add eating out to my costs.
      I still owed the roofing company $2200. I spoke with Travis again and told him I was waiting for the final settlement until paying. My intention was to deduct my costs from what was owed. Instead, they sent me a registered letter stating they would put a lien against my home if I did not pay. So I sent them a check for the full amount.
      I would not recommend this company. I have learned that they are simply a front for Hispanic roofing crews that they subcontract with. This crew damaged my home. They were negligent and incompetent. In addition, they trampled my plants, dislodged landscaping blocks, and moved heavy concrete planters without replacing them. I am still sick about all this ordeal and frankly, I would sell this house if it was not my childhood home. Avoid this shady company!!!
      As a final note, this crew took no safety precautions. They did not wear harnesses and the back of my home is a 3-story drop. Obviously Best Choice has little regard for the people who work for them.

      Jordan C******, Cody D***, Jeremy P****.
      These are named specifically for lying and intentionally defrauding me, my family, and insurance provider.
      Jordan's displayed traits of deceit early on. When at the point of supplies being ordered, he presented me with sheet of available colors to match already present shingles. I had to pick one closest. They not only did not order that, they ordered it AFTER they told me they did already, and then did the wrong color. Only after inquiring about latency, did this come to light. They also did not order the material for my shed at that time either. Upon the arrival of installation crew, they were to inspect, with assertion from Jordan, the underlayment for damage, mold or otherwise. They crew began demolition and then I could see from ground level that there were damaged areas, in fact broken wood that caved in in several areas. I asked about it but, they weren't informed, nothing on invoice. So after a cal to Jiovani saw it, said they would take care of it, I had to buy the wood and screws/nails, but they would take care of it. Shingles go on later in day, and there was no ridgecap ordered, the installers fuss. After they went to ***** and buying some, they don't return to do shed, and BCR says they have been fired by Cody. I was up on roof that night before they left and gravel was missing from a lot of shingles. As installed by. I called BCR and they brushed me off till I somehow got another crook. Enter Tyler, apparently has "connection" at *******. After several visits, photos and Call, two checks arrived and vouchers for new shingles. Cody previously kept saying they were owed more from invoice, but Insurance company not only provided estimate/invoice, but spoke directly with them and explained. No surprise Tytler ended up extracting that last bit from a check that had my depreciation in it and are now holding it ransom, no, stolen. Admitted theft, claiming insurance needs to pay me? Good one.

      Patrick from Best Choice Roofing is the best! He gave me a realistic inspection of my roof, letting me know how long I had left on my roof, and let me know that he would be back every 6 months for a free inspection to make sure everything was still going good. He didn’t try to sell me anything that I didn’t need. I 100% would recommend anyone to work with him for any of your roofing needs!!

      Autumn was super helpful when giving me an honest inspection on the roof. She answered any questions I may have had and was super knowledgeable. She was very professional and wasn’t trying to upsell anything! I would definitely recommend choosing best choice for any roof needs!

      We were sold on a $6,000 job for what should have been a $2,000 job. Tiny little 700 ft house.
      Later to find out that everything that was verbally communicated to us that sold us on the $6,000 job. Was not in the written contract.
      You guys subcontracted out local roofers to do the job. And I literally had to argue with the actual roofing company owner to replace boards that were clearly broken after the roof was put on.
      Showed up to my house at 6:30 in the morning to start working. Didn't replace several of the rotted out decking boards that needed to be replaced.
      And several sections of the roof that could have been addressed easily while the shingles and tar paper were off are now going to take me several days to address.

      DO NOT USE THESE ROOFERS!!!
      They tried to price gouge me because of the hurricane. They originally quoted me $8000 to replace a roof on an office building. When I went back to give them the go ahead, they wanted to charge me $12,500. I can understand a price increase but over 50%? Come on man!

      I live in Dublin Va and I had some storm damage on my roof so I called BCR and Jacob and Jalen came out and performed a free estimate on my roof and inspected the damage and was extremely professional and very informative on what needed to be repaired and replaced. I highly recommend BCR to anyone that needs a repair or replacement on their roof. Did I mention that the estimates are FREE! Give them a call.
