    We had a contract with US Star Trucking LLC to transport our car from NH to Florida. Price was $800.00. 24 hours prior to pick up Victor from US Star Trucking LLC calls me and tells me the cost is now $1500. 00.. saying they could not find a driver to take our car for the price of the contract. They offered to lower the price to $1100.00, again not what the contract says. This is unacceptable business practices. Now we are in a bind to get our car back to Florida after we had to leave because of Hurricane IAN .

    Bad taste in my mouth. Quoted $550.00, raised $150.00 morning of pickup. Told I didn't have to accept, verbally I didn't. Emails stating the driver would arrive in the evening. I went with another company.
    They were sending requests for $800.00, which I sent, as that's what new Company quoted. Unfortunately, I ended up paying twice AND NOW initial Company refuses to give my monies back. Dirty dealings. I've contacted the my State Attorney General, along with the Attorney General of their State.

    I originally was quoted and signed a contract for $700 shipping out that day. I was under the impression that the agent could get my car shipped for that price as when I asked him up front he said "yes". I quickly learned that the rates depend on the market and that getting my vehicle shipped for that amount was not possible. The agent kept coming back to me stating higher rates for shipping. Hundreds of dollars more. I kept requesting him to search for someone that could do it at the rate we agreed upon. After almost a week, I raised my contracted amount to $900 and he was able to get a transporter. He also cut his fee in half due to the time it took to get it set up. I was pleased with the end result but I just wish I would have been told more about the process up front and not guaranteed it would ship or that they could ship it at that rate.
