  I have dealt with First Horizon for decades but I am losing faith in them. ** has administrated my family's farm for decades and is required to distribute proceeds to owners. ** has often been slow to do so. Currently, FH in Tennessee has had a large part of my annual income (I'm retired) for several months. They have ignored my requests for the money, giving me vague, useless responses, "Oh yeah...I think we do have some funds..." and then done nothing. I need the money and I have no way to get them to send it. Why do I have to continually beg for my own money???!!

  I opened an account with a direct deposit and was supposed to get a bonus, and the bank has not given it to me and is not giving me any answers. I spoke with ******* at the branch in ****************, ** and she told me she would get back to me in a couple days. Its now been about two weeks and I stopped in again and she said that she has been working on it and it seems they are overwhelmed. I am very unsatisfied and feel this is unacceptable.

  I opened a new account and was told that I would receive $450 as a bank promotion as long as I deposited $1000 into my account within 90 days of opening the account and the deposits where qualifying deposits like direct deposits from your employer. I completed the deposit requirements and hadn't received my bank promotion so I called customer ********************** who then told me something completely different then the account specialist who opened my account. ********************** is false advertising and giving misleading information when you open your account. When I read the flyer it stated once you've made your qualifying deposits within 10 business days you'd receive your bonus. It's been longer then 10 business days for me and I still have yet to receive anything and when I call they simply say it's being processed but they can't give me a date.

  I paid off a LOC, in full. They then sent me to collections because of their errant system without contacting me once. Balance to this day shows $0 due, but they refused to reconcile with the credit bureau. Was a customer of ********************** for **+ years, First Horizon acquired and it's been terrible ever since. I will be closing my account because of this.

  Today, I tried to pay off my First Financial Credit Card. I was told that since I had made a payment earlier this month, that I could not make this payment. First problem: only one payment a month is offered. Second problem: the payment cannot. be over $2,000! In other words, they won't let me pay this account off!!! I've never heard of such a thing before. Obviously, they want to keep taking in the interest of the balance. This should be illegal!!!

  We have two long standing accounts. I was at the ***************************. branch to cash an insurance refund check. The check amount was far less than what I had in my account. A manager lady intervened and I wasn't allowed to use a teller. I was treated like a criminal. It took 30 minutes to cash my small check and she required me to allow my drivers license info. to be entered into the computer.What does First Horizon need my drivers license for and with whom is my personal info. available to use or hack into?I will be closing my accounts

  First Hirizon is terrible. Theres been a death where I was the ***** of ********* It has been accepted by everywhere else but the bank said it wasnt good. That allowed his ex wife of 15 years and ***** spoke to in 7 years, run away with ***** dollars bc her name was on account from that relationship. Same with safety deposit box so who knows what was taken out of there. The bank manager told me it is what it is. On top of the death from a loved one, which will was done by a very respected lawyer, this bank gave the money to the exact people the deceased didnt want to have. They should be ashamed but not a care in the world.

  I went on Saturday July 20th to obtain a secured loan from First Horizon Bank Location on ************************** Tennessee. I had an exceptional time with 2 ladies named ************* and ****. They told me that since I was getting a ****** secured loan by my cd that my interest rate would be 2.85. Everything was going great till Monday. I received a call from ***** stating that the Under writer needed 2 years w2s. I asked why and even ***** didn't understand. Now keep in mind The loan was being secured with my own money and that still left me ******* in checking. I'm basically loaning my own money to myself. There is no reason for the underwriter to require my w2s when it isn't an unsecured loan. Needless to say the Under writer has cost First Horizon 2.85 percent for 5 years. I have talked to 3 other banks and they all said you don't need a w2 for a secured loan. Even though we have been customers with ******************** since the 1950s I'll be closing my account this weekend. Please be aware and stay away from First horizon.
