I'd leave ZERO stars if it were an option. I live in ******* where it's over 110 degrees daily in July and my AC died 7/3/25 (exactly 30 days after they sent out "Crispy Air" to repair it). After 3 days they still haven't even found anyone to come and look at it. We informed them we have 3 kids and 5 pets in the home and van not go 24 hrs without AC let alone DAYS. They don't care at all. Half the ** **** barely speak English. You get transferred from agent to agent and put on hold for ***** minutes at a time every call. It's horrendous.

1 starThey are really a scam, they wanted me to pay out of pocket for the any cost over $125.The plumber was not authorized by them, so I have my bathroom leaking and the ceiling roof dripping.Review fromDIANE O

1 starI do not recommend this company in anyway. They have unprofessional contractors, who miss their appointments and then when they do arrive, they leave before the job is finished. It takes a month for each part ordered. In our case 3 different parts so far. They will not expedite the part orders even if you have been waiting 2 months to have your appliance repaired. They basically say this is the process and there is nothing they can or will do to help. This is our first claim and will be our last. If they ever resolve this issue we will quickly cancel our contract. At this point we have invested so much time and money into this claim we want them to resolve it. It is, after all, what we are paying them for.Review fromJody N

1 starAmerican home shield lied to us and said that they would replace our air conditioner and then refused. They also sent out a company that tried to scam us and told us a new air conditioner would br $14,000. The next company lied and tried to sell us a cheap knock off Trane. We found a company through a friend and got a Trane for 8 500 in the middle of Arizona summer (god send). American home shield was a waste of money and not worth what we paid for their service. 1 star?????Terrible servicewaiting 5 days without A/C in ******* heatI live in ***********, *******, where ******* hit hard. My A/C failed and my home soared to 90F, but American Home Shield refused to send anyone until Mondaythats a 5-day waitsaying no technicians were available locally. I called repeatedly and got nothing but excuses.I had to hire my own repair person, and my A/C was fixed yesterday. I canceled my service immediately. Waiting nearly a week without air conditioning in the ******* heat is more than inconvenienceits dangerous. This is beyond poor customer **********************. 1 starHad American home shield for a long time, this is the first time I needed them for my washing machine and they came out ordered parts and kept rescheduling and canceling my appointment, I can only be here on Saturday so thats what I made my appointment for twice and got canceled and rescheduled for time frame that dont work for me, called company multiple times with no results, been a month now and still not fixed, do not recommend this companyReview fromNyree B

1 starWe have cancelled our service with AHS after the way we have been treated with an ongoing air-con issue. It's clear they use unprofessional, cheap companies to deal with repairs. These companies take weeks to fix anything so they can rack up charges to AHS. Out of desperation and pure incompetence by the **** company they assigned us (************************ and Air) we asked if we could arrange a third party to take a look and if they would cover it. The answer was a flat out NO. No regard to the fact we had been without air-con in the middle of southern summer for 3 weeks, no regard to the fact we had been racking up out of pocket changes to stay in hotels etc. Their customer ********************** and escalation team were rude when we attempted to contact them. 1 starIf I could leave 0 stars i would this has been the worst experience of customer interactions I have ever seen. Its been over 8 weeks and still I have a broken fridge with no eta or end in site. I have the receipts have called AHS over 12 times for this case. And I have called the assigned contractor over 8 with no resolution in site. 1 starVendor came out to repair A/C unit yesterday and it went out the next day called vendor stated he no longer works for AHS .They tried to call him but did not p/u his phone.They took my money and stated I would have wait three to five business in order to get my money back into my account.Review fromTyler F

1 starDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THIS COMPANY IS A LOT OF THEIVES. WE HAVE PAID THEM FOR 8 YEARS AND THEY ARE LEAVING US IN THE WIND WHEN WE ARE REQUESTING THEIR SERVICES. THE COMPANIES THEY USE TO SEND TO "SERVICE YOUR NEEDS" ARE IN THEIR BACK POCKETS AND WILL LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH TO CONTINUE SCAMMING AND RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. THEY NEED TO BE SUIED FOR THEIR THEIVERY I PRAY THEY GET INVESTIGATED FOR THEIR EMBEZZLING AND FRANKLY PYRAMID LIKE SCAM THEY ARE RUNNING.
