      Does not even GET a "1 Star" from me..!!! This company is nothing but PROBLEMS but they are so glad to take your money w no results...!! I can express nothing but frustrations with delays, inadequate repairs, and difficulties with customer **********************. They kicked me down the road over three months for a repair and I had to come out of my pocket for all repairs ($760 tankless hot water & $3K for a slab leak. Also w/ delaying the repair past my renewal date to make me renewal coverage. You will be lucky to speak to anyone you can understand, they promise a 24hr call back, more like 4 days. They wanted to pay $64 for an over $5K repair. After calling many times and asking many to speak to a supervisor was blown off for another 48 hrs, finally after supervisor called back told me she only wanted to hear 2 words, yes or no on the $64 pay out. All persons, customer **********************, etc are unprofessional and reading from a scrip along w calling after 9pm @ night. Took an act of ******** to cancel my contract due to such bad service...!!! I will not tell anyone to go w this company ,, only RUN FAR AWAY FROM AMERICAN HOME SHIELD....!!!!

      ** went out. Waited about a week for technician. Technician checked system out and did not replace any of the caps that he removed. He stated that the system could not be fixed and he suggested replacement and that was on a Saturday. He said he would let his office know about his recommendation. Waited until Wednesday, with no updated information so we called. Our case was reported as being complete but we still had no air. After speaking to many, many, AHS representatives that said the exact same thing in the exact same order each time, we got nowhere. They continued to put me on hold each time to contact the company ********. Every phone call was met with disappointment and no definite answers but instead promises of calling back and moving forward. The reps were extra concerned with me giving them ratings of all 5s. That seemed to be their biggest concern. After case was reopened ******** said a part was on order but their tech had said the unit couldnt be fixed. After 3 weeks of waiting for the part, FOXCROFT called and asked that we get a photo of the unit so they would know the part that needed to be ordered. After waiting 3 weeks for a part they said was already ordered, he was in fact calling to order the part. The next day he called to say the part was obsolete. Now they would need to replace the system, so it was like starting all over with all the calls to AHS and as the temperatures got into the 90s, we could never get answers. We care for toddlers and a senior, we could no longer play the AHS game. We finally asked to give us a cash out because it had been over a month with no air. We contacted local **** companies that came out the same week, quoted the job and said they could install the system by the end of the week. Sadly paying American Home Shield almost ***** per month for years and years, the payout they are promising us is only ******! The unit they were promising was *****. All these years paying monthly and they are only paying us ******!

      So easy to sign up, beyond difficult to cancel. DO NOT TRY this company, they outsource their customer **********************, long wait times on calls to make cancelling difficult. 3 year-customer first time needing their help, and they fail to cover anything on our AC unit. BE WARMED, this company is shady as F.

      This company is horrible. They want to collect the money but deny service. If you try to cancel they will ignore your request and continue to keep you hooked to automatic payments with them. Run and never look back from this sham company.

      One of the Most Frustrating Customer Experiences I've Ever Had Ive been paying for American Home Shield (AHS) month after month, expecting peace of mind and timely servicebut instead, I've been met with incompetence, poor communication, and zero accountability.On May 20, I submitted a service request for my washing machine. A technician came the following week and confirmed that parts were needed. After that, radio silence. No updates, no schedulingnothing. I had to call myself just to find out the parts had been delivered, and I had to fight with the service provider to get them to confirm it.The second visit was a joke. The technician sat in his car for over 40 minutes before coming to the door, only to tell us the parts delivered were incomplete. He installed what he could and promised to follow up when the rest arrived. Surprise: we never heard back.A week lateragain, only after I calledwe finally got something on the calendar. Nobody showed up. I called again and was told it had been canceled with zero notification to us. Visit three finally happened, only for the tech to tell us (again!) that the parts were still ******** this point, it had been three weeks of delays and mismanagement. I called AHS to express my frustration, and they told me I'd receive a call back. That was ten days agostill nothing. I followed up again and was told that because I called after 6 PM, the parts department was closed and there was no resolution. When I asked for a follow-up, the *** said they dont do follow-up calls. I have to keep calling back myself.This is unreal. What exactly am I paying for? This is supposed to be a service that provides solutions, not one that requires the customer to chase every update, manage every interaction, and beg for action.AHS has shown a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and care. I feel like Ive wasted both my time and my money, and our issue is still not resolved after more than a month.

      We have had this company since 2018 and never had an issue when it came to repairs. They were easy to deal with and I always recommended to anyone I knew who owned a home. Now I feel Ive been scammed. We actually need our AC replaced which they advertised covering. Now they want us to cover 75% of the total replacement because AHS is claiming that every little thing is a modification even though most of these are typical parts to replacing an AC. Very very frustrated and honestly disheartened because I feel Ive been duped. If I had known theyd use tactics like this I would have canceled long ago.

      Sabotage! American home shield sent an ** repair company to evaluate an issue I was having. The ** tech tells me a small hole in a coil is leaving me to have to replace the whole unit for 15 thousand dollars. The tech wrote that it was a large landscape rock that did it. American home shields Indian, not American representatives told me it wasnt covered because it wasnt normal wear and tear. So I decided to pay out of pocket to have a local ** company come assess the issue. They told me whoever the tech was intentionally put a hole in my unit and noted it. So I call American home shield back and tell them. They say "ok thats not right so will have another local company come and assess this because they refused to use the notes of the company I paid for since they didnt work through them. The other local company came out and determined it was sabotage. American home shield got their notes and even read it back to me that the 2nd company said the 1st company sabotaged my ** unit. But because it wasnt normal wear and tear its not their fault. Yea of course sabotage isnt normal wear and tear you idiots! So now im left with a 15 thousand dollar decision to deal with on my own and an home insurance that covers pretty much nothing. My house is 6 years old and so was the unit sabotaged. The other two later companies said I had about 15 more years in the that unit. Oh by the way, the company that sabotaged my system was PRO PRICE HEATING AND COOLING IN *********. Stay away from both.

      This company is the absolute worse!! I cant even give them a ONE. I bought a new house back in April of last year. My realtor bought me this warranty and only one thing with them has gone right. I have four HVAC units and 3 of them have went out and Ive gotten the run around after the run around with them and Lying ***** as we call him, because he doesnt keep his word or do what he says he is gonna do. Lying Larrys business is L&L Heating and Air Conditioning. His last name is *******. In October of last year, our main unit went out. It took them till the middle of March to get it fixed. I cant tell you the countless lies we were told between AHS and *****. But who should have to wait from October to March for their system to work?!? Now this same unit went out again just this past Sunday. So we havent even had a good three months with it working. Then ***** on top of all this has stood us up twice no call, no text, no show. He was suppose to be here last Tuesday to fix the bedroom unit. He wanted to get here between 8-9 in the AM. Little after 11 no word no nothing. Texted him and his response was Im running a little behind. So first off, dont you think you should call or text someone and relay that to them??? Oh no not *****. He then text at 2:16 that afternoon that he was on his way. A little after 5 that evening, no show, no call, no text. So my boyfriend calls him and gets no answer. ***** does call him back about 5-10 minutes later. The man never had any intention of showing all day. He wasted my whole day off and this is the second time he has done this. I think he is just as terrible as AHS. Looking back on all these reviews, AHS hasnt had one good review. Why cant this business be shut down?!? They have done so many people wrong and they are just faking peoples money and delivering very, very poor customer care.

      AHS takes your money and does not provide the services they offer, they don't send anyone to service your items stating that "they don't have service in that area". AHS does not know what they are saying.

      Steer clear of this scam. We are having a terrible time with this company, they have shady practices and employees dishonest repairman. You are better off sticking your money in a mattress.
