  Ive been with AHS for years and am now canceling. Theyre contractors dont know their jobs and dont want to do their job. The customer ********************** is the worst. I had to end a call with their customer ********************** representative because they f his behavior. Im done with this company.

  American Home Shield warranty is an absolute scam. We purchased a house with the $600 AHS warranty.When you have an issue....they send out a guy...you pay him $75...he looks at your problem and makes a report...then they call you and tell you it isn't covered. We have used it 5 times. Hot water heater wasn't covered. Roof drain lines aren't covered. Even the shower faucet wasn't covered. Electrical ground outlets weren't covered. I mean....we paid them every time for nothing. Seems like a scam. It also takes a week for a guy to come out. I will never purchase one of these warranties through them. We aren't going to call them again even though our plan is through November and it's July. Why call, wait, and pay just to end up calling another company and waiting to pay. This is in *********.

  They charge me $100 deductible even though I told them what my problem was that my air deck had been torn open by environment under my house. And I knew it wasnt a covered expense but said nothing to me at the time that they scheduled the contractor and took my hundred dollars. I would like a refund!

  I have been dealing with them concerning my ac that is defective and i have been dealing with them for the past 2 weeks! In the past few weeks the average temperature has been 94- 98 degrees. Worst customer ********************** that I have ever received. Horrible waiting time, no matter that time that you call you will never get connected with a customer ********************** rep. they will say that they will call you back and return the call anywhere from 30 min to 1hr.

  This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They have the nastiest representatives on earth. I rarely called and had a good experience and on top of that they hire the most stupid and unprofessional companies who no one ever heard of them or hire them because theyre most likely charging them the lowest amounts and thats why theyre contracted with such bad companies. DONT PUT AMERICAN HOME SHIELD ON YOUR HOME ITS TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

  I am trying to cancel my contract. There is an 855 number on their website FAQ portion. When I called it, it is sales. Sales makes you verify all your information but cannot cancel anything. They transfer you to the cancelation department. It took 15 minutes get someone on the line. I kept getting their sales pitch. I JUST WANTED TO CANCEL MY PLAN!!!! I kept asking to cancel. I kept getting about buying or transferring service or etc. You can pay on the website, you can update your information, etc. BUT YOU CANNOT CANCEL!!!!They charged me an admin fee because I was cancelling the service. They are horrible at customer ********************** unless you are purchasing their plan. If you can find someone else, please do so. They are not worth the hassle. I regret ever signing up

  Horrible! I have been paying $90/month and had only 2 repair requests for $100 each and neither one of them followed through. They came out, said they were going to order and reschedule then never came back. I had called the company multiple times to cancel and complain about the service requests and you just get the run around. They tell you they will put in a work order to cancel but then months later, they are still charging me. Ive tried cancelling 3 times now. Its a scam.

  Its a waste of Money.They said we can renew the policy for next yean and cancell it for free before july 9'th2022.But now they chanrged something like 52 $ administration fee (which was not told by the agents at the time of call).Its simply waste of money.

  I have been with American Home Shield since 2010. I had no issues until now. I submitted a service request in May 2022 the contractor never went out to service at the tenants fault but AHS never refunded my $125. I call July 6, 2022 to get a refund and the refund still havent been refunded to my account.
