Ive purchased a ******* Refrigerator from Best Buy online (see the attached email receipt) which was delivered on May 20, 2022. While removing the old refrigerator and installing the new one the technicians (shown on the attached screen shot of my security camera footage) had to disassemble both. The old refrigerator leaked black dirty liquid which dripped all over the kitchen floor and the carpet of my condo staircases, carpets along the path while the fridge was moved out. I cleaned up the floor, but the carpet seems to be stained permanently. Also, technicians have scratched and smeared the walls along the staircases, as shown on the attached pictures, while moving the new fridge.The Best ******************** has filed on my behalf the " Best Buy Claim 4A2205N6SRY-0001 - ****************************************** - 05/20/2022" with Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. is the claims administrator for Best Buy Stores, L.P., its subsidiaries, and affiliates (Best Buy). I have twice provided all requested documents and pictures to two different insurance agents assigned to my claim, as could be seen from the copy of the attached email correspondence. My last email sent on 9/7/2022 requesting the status of my claim is still unanswered, despite the previous written promise to provide "an update no later than end of business tomorrow 8/10/22."I feel that my claim is being purposely ignored with a goal to avoid the responsibility for a repair of the damages done to my home.Initial Complaint

On March 22, 2022, we reached out to Best Buy in regard to property damage done on an installation of a dishwasher purchased from Best Buy. Best coordinated a claim file with Sedgwick CMS. Two days (24 March 2022) later we were contacted by Sedgwick CMS. We submitted photos of the damage on 5 April 2022.We then submitted an estimate from a repairman on 5 May 2022. On 26 May 2022 we received an email from Sedgwick stating we believe there is sufficient evidence to move forward with this claim. Therefore, I am able to make an offer reflective of the repair estimate you provided for $527.00. If that is acceptable, we can issue payment when my decision to overturn denial is approved by management. Since May 26th, we have tried to contact several times, and no answers from the Sedgwick representatives involved. On one particular call, we were told that the check was sent out and claim was closed out, the person helping us on the phone at that time stated that there is no record of payment sent. We have continuously called and emailed with no responses. Short Term Disability Claim 4A2205ZJNL0-0001 with claims adjuster ****************** My surgeon submitted signed paperwork to return to work September 19 due to continued physical therapy and continued pelvic complications. The paperwork was faxed to Sedgwick Aug 31. As of Sept 9 the status online for Sedgwick did not show any updates extending out my leave from the initial return date Sept 2. I called the customer service line for ********************** due to not having a direct line to the adjuster *******. ******* is never available nor does she return my calls. I send online messages through the Sedgwick portal as directed and I do not get responses. This entire process has been horrific with this company. I called 2 weeks before my scheduled surgery date to discuss details and procedures and I did not get a call back from an examiner. I took 3 days off prior to the surgery due to extreme uterus pain and had to take off 2 days prior to the surgery for post operation appointment all around the ***** area with multiple offices. Only to learn a few days after the surgery that those 5 days were not excused and would not be included with the Short Term claim. This information should have been explained to me when I called 2 weeks before the surgery with my inquiry about said dates. I am requesting the Director to contact me. ****************** And her supervisor have been incompetent with my claim and I want resolution today. I addressed a matter of concern when speaking with **************** from Amazon customer service who asked me to respond to her email with photograph's and pictures of ***** which I did in a timely manner on, 09-05-2022. I have not received a response from **************** despite contacting her numerous times concerning my claim and to confirm her receipt of the documents related to order no. 114-3527262-1197842, please. I received an email from Amazon on 09-04-2022, stating they have sent my claim information to Sedgwick ***************** and an representative will be contacting me right away who I followed up with to confirm and was told by ***** from this insurance company no claim had ever been submitted to their office as was told to me by Amazon having to file a new claim no. 4A22095QXW50001. I received an email today despite having contacted their office and provided them with photograph's and medical bills at 8:47 a.m. asking me to 'provide' them with photograph's and records allowing me three days to do, so. I then received another email just over two hours later at 11:07 a.m. saying they have closed my claim as a result of not providing their office with the requested documentation in a timely manner. I called the office again today after speaking with ***** yesterday at this number who processed my claim ************ while in my doctor ****************************************************** office having arrived early and would like to say was on hold to speak with someone for well over an hour with no one ever taking my call. I have filed this claim as a result of a bad item purchased via Amazon asking at this time for ****** in addition to transportation costs and experience of having to go through this ordeal with *****, Thank you.Business Response

Sedgwick has been *********************** to deal with, and they lie. Their #1 priority is to try and find ways to deny a claim. They have two doctors writing notes pulling me from work, yet they cut my money off claiming their *nurse* reviewed and denied my claim. Two doctors told them I can't work and sent in doctors notes yet sedgwick violates my hippa rights by prying into my personal information trying to find ways to deny a claim for lack of information. A doctors note should be all that is required. Who are you to go through my personal health information? I am writing in response to my claim #4A2206VDZWH-00001 with Sedgwick. My doctor and myself have submitted my required paperwork on time on Aug 26th. As well as several times after via multiple way email. fax, uploaded on sedgwick site. I was told by my examiner that I would get a response in 48 hours or two business days . It has been a over a week at this point and I still have no response my claim is just showing pending with no reply from my examiner. I am already suffering from anxiety and stress. (to the best of my memory and knowledge)08/25 lightning storm Lightning struck the transformer behind my shed and knocked out the power.Not long after during the same storm, roughly 60 yards away a tree branch fell and hit the power line.Crews later came out to perform cutting on the same tree they cut at the last recent storm, then sent out alerts that power was restored.We still didn't have power, including the other homes connected to the same transformer. I purchased a ** dishwasher from *********** After installation the dishwasher started leaking. An ** technician came to the house and discovered holes in the ** he said were caused by installation. ********** eventually referred me to their insurance Sedgwick to handle my claim.
