      I was injured on the job 3 weeks ago and went to the *** I was referred to a neurosurgeon, but Sedgwick has used every delay tactic to keep me from seeing a provider. Communication or lack of it is horrendous. Im not sure why good companies choose this terrible comp carrier, but Ill bet its because they are the cheapest. The attorney I consulted let me know Sedgwick is the absolute worst company in the workers comp insurance industry.

      On January 24, 2023 I sent an email here and have yet to receive a reply. Does anyone check the "email this business" feature here on bbb.org profile? A bad review would not be necessary had they just made an attempt to reply.

      I had a claim in with Sedgwick for chick fila had an hispanic employee hitting my car in the fornt and back. I dealt with ***************************** I sent her a repair estimate in Nov she only approved one of them. So I signed the release papers on Dec 4th her reponse was she received them and I'm still waiting on my check. I have been reaching out and still no response. I have that I'm going to have to get a lawyer. I thought this company was good so sad.

      If I could I would leave 0 stars. My husband was hit by one of their insured customers (US FOODS) back in September a month after our baby was born, and we tried to contact the insurance company. ********************* from Sedgwick never returned any of our calls and or answer them except once where she was on her cell phone and I could hear her conversation she then hung up and never called back. They then send us a letter about it we dont call them back they are closing the claim and when we called back they never answered and or called us back sure way to make sure that you dont have to pay people. Now my husbands brand new motorcycle isnt rideable on the plus side my husband is okay!

      Not worth any Stars. This company is so negligent & just careless. Very poor ******************************** of the Company. Just horrible. There should be a zero star option.

      The giant companies that continue to keep this companys sorry substandard morals in business are to blame also. If youre aware of a big company using this clown show review them as well maybe theyll tighten up if they are called out and poorly rated for their poor business decisions. This company is definitely a joke. Too far gone. Too little concern. And lacking professionalism and integrity.

      Sedgwick should not be in the business of workers comp claims. Extremely poor communication- no follow up or calls back unless initiated by me. They split my salary in half and then gave me 66% of that half and acted like I was crazy for asking them to re-evaluate my workers comp payments for an injury that happened on the job. My case manager, ***************************, is extremely rude and combative. I have never been treated so poorly simply for asking questions- this is my first time ever needing workers comp and I pray I never need it again. Just awful. I havent been able to walk for over two weeks, Im in pain, I cant work, and Im supposed to pay my bills with $140 a week, and am being insulted and disrespected on top of it all. One star is too high a rating.

      Saw a doctor in April 2022 for ankle pain (ankle surgery 20 yrs ago), after x *************** he recommended ankle injections and physical therapy. From April to early August all was running as should be, mid-August Sedgwick would begin to contact me claiming they haven't received any doctor notes. I contacted my physicians to inquire about the needed documentation for Sedgwick and was told it was sent via fax, after a couple of days I contacted Sedgwick to ask if documents were received and was told they haven't received anything. I acquire the needed documentation and email them to ************************** received an email confirmation the attached documents were going to be added to my claim. I called the next day but was told they hadn't received anything from me. It's now December and I haven't gotten paid since late September due to Sedgwick claiming they haven't received any doc notes even though I have fax and emailed the documents myself. I finally got in touch with a manager at Sedgwick and he told me they have a 3rd party company that manages their *********** servers, as he created a trouble ticket to the fax/email **** he informed me there are multiple trouble tickets for the same issue as mine. My case worker at Sedgwick hasn't called me back in over a month, I've left multiple voice messages & notes on my claim but today (12/16/22) I was informed she's been out of the office over a month and forgot to refer my claim to her supervisor for a review prior to leaving. This company has poor communication; I've been complaining about their *********** issue for 4 months but kept getting told that it's my responsibility to get those needed documents sent to Sedgwick" then after emailing and faxing the documents I'd call to confirm they received them I was told to call back in 3 hrs, I would call every 3 hours for a week and was still told they didn't receive the documents. I'm having surgery on 12/20/22 and my employer is requesting me to return to work. What do I do?

      I have not received a payment in a week. No one has returned my emails or returned a phone call after I left messages. And reading reviews I had the same situation where the payment I receive every week changed twice by a reduction of $160. But I was sent a letter of what i am to expect on a weekly basis. Phone # online is not in service. Phone# given by security in building where they have an office is not valid,given to me by security. Which I was told I cannot go upstairs to there office. Horrible
