When I tell you I’m so frustrated!!!!! I was involved in an accident on March 8 which wasn’t my fault here it is now April 18 and all I’m getting is the run around. The lack of communication is horrible. I was told that my car is a total loss by one claim adjuster and that the total loss adjuster would contact me on how we would move forward. That was 3 weeks ago and one has contacted me yet! I’ve called a left messages and no one returns my call. So it doesn’t do any good to leave a voicemail. I’ve also tried to reach out to a supervisor which I was unsuccessful as well. I can’t wait until this is over with, it’s such a headacheFirst Acceptance Insurance Company

This insurance company does not pay money upon recalculation and fraudulently attributes this money to the account of insurance renewal; I do not recommend dealing with it. Stay away.First Acceptance Insurance Company

THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! I DONT UNDERTAND HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUISNESS. I made a claim Nov. 12 2023 and they still have not resolved the issue. I signed the title over and have not been in possession of the vehicle and I still had to pay the monthly bill for the car and piece of **** insurance. 2 Times they supposedly sent the check to my car company but they never received it. Now My credit is ruined because Christina D****** total loss department apparently is never at her desk and refuses to return phone calls or emails in a timely manner. As well as Craig S***** adjuster who failed to do his job correctly which resulted in the first check being stopped. Lazy people work here and get Paid for nothing. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS ****** *** COMPANY. THEY NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUISNESS.First Acceptance Insurance Company

The lienholder requested we provide additional time to receive the check; when it did not arrive, another check was issued to the lienholder at their request. OH GOD, I am nervous. After today, I am so afraid to deal with this company. I was involved in an accident where the owner of the other car was at fault. This was March 2, 2024. The other driver is insured by First Acceptance. The police report stated that the other driver was at fault and the driver was given citations. HOWEVER, the adjuster of First Acceptance contacted me on Monday and took a recorded statement. She stated that they had to speak with the other driver before taking liability and paying for my car. When the insurance company stopped believing the police report??? Most insurance companies just need the police report for the insurance company to take liability. You are going to believe someone that hit me over the Officer? She stated that she would contact me Wednesday (which is today) with the outcome. She stated that if they had not heard from the other driver by today, First Acceptance would take liability. Well, today she calls to inform me that they have to speak to the driver first and now he has 10 days to respond before First Acceptance would take liability. NOT ONLY THAT, SHE ALSO STATED THAT THEY STOPPED PAYING STORAGE FEE ON MY VEHICLE ON YESTERDAY AND I HAD TO GO GET IT! IT IS NOT DRIVABLE AND NO ONE TOLD ME. I am in a rental (paying out the pocket) and now you are saying I got to pay storage fees? Her story completely changed from Monday. I’m in disbelief because I don’t have that type of money. Now, she is saying go through my insurance and they will reimburse me. Yall, I cannot. I am getting anxiety reading these reviews about this insurance company. I am losing money. Insurance is highly regulated and insurers are required to make good faith efforts with all parties involved to ensure the information we receive is accurate and we are making accurate decisions based on that information. A police report is an important tool we rely on in investigating a claim, but it is not the only tool. We also rely on statements from all parties involved, scene investigations, and photos/damages of the vehicle. It is not uncommon for police reports to amended later after the fact based on new or missing information. It is also important to have all versions of the loss to ensure all the damages claimed are consistent with the facts of loss. As an insurer, we have a duty to represent our customers within the parameters of their policy, and ensure they have been given an opportunity to present their version of the facts to be taken into consideration.
Regarding the storage, all parties have a responsibility to mitigate the damage and rising costs of repair/storage, etc., to their property while a claim is being investigated. Our records indicate that the appropriate parties were notified of this responsibility.

Everyone should get their insurance from this company because you can get your insurance in anyone else's name in the household and if they wreck, First Acceptance does not have to pay.
I was hit in the rear a few weeks ago, the person who hit me owns the car, but Ihe has insurance in his brothers name, so First Acceptance informed me they were not going to pay the claim because they are brothers and live in the same household. I lost everything I owned and homeless because I was out of work for weeks, due to this accident, and I'm getting ready to have a baby. I'm confused how someone can buy a car, and the insurance company will insure everyone except the person who owns the car. If I could give ZERO stars I would! I was rear ended two weeks ago by someone covered under Acceptance. Although I’ve called daily, I have yet to speak with the adjuster! My car is not drivable and it is my only vehicle!First Acceptance Insurance Company

They are horrible and will never deal with them again. I paid for glass coverage and when my car was shot and the back window was shattered
and there was a small divot in trunk lid that I said I would take care of because I just wanted window replaced they said I had to go through my comprehensive and pay $500 deductible when glass coverage has no deductible.First Acceptance Insurance Company

I had acceptance insurance, I had an accident in September 2023 and it is now feb 2024 and I still haven’t received the check to repair my car. The first check took forever so the adjuster stopped payment and reissued a 2nd check but it still hasn’t arrived and the adjuster will not answer his phone or return phone calls. This insurance company is awful. I was involved in an automobile accident in Atlanta, GA. I submitted a claim to First Acceptance Insurance on November 13th. My vehicle went into the collision repair shop on December 11th. On December 20th, I was informed by vehicle repairs were completed. At this point the repair shop and insurance company are going back and forth about the charges on the supplemental claim. My vehicle is still being held by the repair shop.
I usually don't write reviews, but I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I have received from this company in relation to the recent auto insurance claim I filed. I am dissatisfied with the lengthy delay in the repair process for my vehicle and the lack of communication regarding the status of the repairs.
I expected a more efficient and transparent process when it came to handling my claim. The extended time it has taken for the repairs to be completed has inconvenienced me and has caused significant disruption to my daily routine.
I believe that the level of service I have received does not align with the standards I would expect from a reputable insurance company. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve your claims handling process to ensure that other customers do not experience similar frustrations in the future.First Acceptance Insurance Company
