I went to ******** *** *** Restaurant in Baltimore for lunch and to make purchases. I have been to ******** several times in the past, the *** Restaurant just opened a month ago. I pulled in and parked in between two cars that just parked. We did not see any signs to pay for parking. When we returned to our vehicle we had a ticket on our vehicle.
We protested the citation online including a caption from the business’ website stating that the first 2 hours of parking are free. Their response was that I did not provide any conclusive evidence. The company provided 4 pictures of my license plate on my vehicle, but not one of a sign that says no parking.

Do not, under ANY circumstances park in ANY lot owned by SP. They are a shady company and employ their own Towing company to extort money from paying customers. Especially if you are in the downtown Cincinnati area. DO NOT PARK in the Main Street Parking lot. You can pay using their online pay (which they want you to do), get the confirmation, and then, like magic, THEY TOW YOUR CAR ANYWAY! Way to ruin an evening SP parking, I love spending it arguing with a tow truck driver about my receipts. I'll be writing to the City of Cincinnati about your shady business practices and the Attorney General. You don't extort your paying customers for following YOUR DIRECTIONS THAT YOU ESTABLISHED. Absolute garbage company.

I received 2 tickets for Colorado parking violation. I live in North Carolina and was not there. Never have been in Colorado. The photos show a vehicle that is not mine,. They make it impossible to talk to anyone that can help. I would like to get this resolved

If zero was an option they would receive it. If your inquiry doesn't involve SP+ receiving money they won't help you. If you call the customer service number and the system doesn't hang up on you you're lucky. When it does answer and you choose the call back option because of an extended wait time they will never call you back. When you do talk to someone their only function is to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. I was lied to and told they would forward me to someone else and they hung up. Just a terrible company.

Big corporation making big money and lack in service.
My story is like many others. I received a letter stated I owed $34.00 for a parking violation that occurred in January 2024. Again, like others, my first notice of this was a letter from a law firm out of San Antonio, TX stating they are a Debt Collector. They offered no information as to where, what car, etc. As I racked my brain trying to recall if I possibly parked somewhere in question I learned that I was out of town during the alleged violation. I thought, maybe I parked somewhere at the airport that was off limits (obviously, only I know I wouldn't do that intentionally). After pouring over credit card statements and racking my brain some more I realized that I did not drive to the airport on that particular trip. I was dropped off.
I responded to their letter, as stated, "If you're disputing this violation or need more information" please check the boxes.
A month of so later I received a "second notice' letter. This stated "you failed to respond to our correspondence...." Obviously not true. At least the second letter had a license plate number and a location of the violation. Again, confirming I was out of town, and that it wasn't my car, but my work van. The parking area was identified, INCORRECTLY! After a few hours of investigation I called the law firm, who were both cordial and helpful, but what really got me was this - I offered to send a picture of my plate and number to compare to the plate they had taken a picture of - clearly two different vehicles and they had input my plate number incorrectly. That was followed up by "I'll submit this for review, and that should be it. I stated, "no, this will not be it." "You will mail me a letter stating this has been resolved and was not my fault." They denied my request again, and again. Could not, or would not even email me something. Shame on big corporations! BTW - I understand the law firm third party. SP+ needs to do better at a lower level.

SP Plus Corporation is a scam. I called their attorneys several times and was hung up on each time. Are these debt collection letters a scam? Seems like shady company and even more shady attorneys.
I will never park in their lots or garages.

I came to a SP parking in Santa Monica, I was there for all of 15 minutes at most. When I came in i received a ticket and didn’t think much of it, as im exiting I’m entering the ticket and it keeps saying to flip the ticket because it’s not working. I use the button to call the operator and she says its not the card that should come out, that I should of paid attention and that there should have been more then one card then etc. whatever her excuse was. She then Proceeds to tell me that I now owe full credit as a lost ticket so $20. Which I struggling did not have. she said i either pay or she would calls the cops. So great, what an amazing experience.

STAY AWAY RAPACIOUS PREDATORS!!! I paid $30 for event parking and received a $100 debt collection notice 30 days later with no explanation. weeks later received a "ticket" for parking violation clearly after hours. Contrary to their claims there is no way to dispute on their website and they do not return contact us messages. This is little more than a parking scam.
