Courteous talk but no professional results.
Promised professional performance of exceptional Pest control services, yet provided none.
When someone does not listen to the customer, the result is poor coordination, poor complaint resolutions, and frequent misunderstandings.
Ineffective listening began with the initial salesperson at my home door. Ineffective listening and subsequent poor coordination continued from the the home office scheduler to the technician who actually came to my house.
Unfortunately, each scheduled visit by the technician turned out to be a frustrating disappointment as the technician was uninformed concerning my complaint and my resolution expectations.
I’m done.Urbanex Pest Control

The worst Home Service Company I have ever encountered. The come in and promise the hand of god, and deliver nothing. They lie about everything. They call you constantly to reschedule because they cannot finish, or have to come back, and always make it your problem. The corporate office promises a resolution within 24 hours and they never call you back. All they do is collect , lie and do nothing.
The worst pest company I have ever encountered in my life and I am 60 years old. If you see them run, They are not to be trusted and cannot deliver what they promise. they lock you into a contract then penalize you and bill you for not doing their job when you try to cancel. They are never available, it's a nightmare.Urbanex Pest Control

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with our company. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused and understand your frustration. We strive to provide excellent service.
We take customer feedback seriously, and we would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. After investigating your account it shows the first scenario that we weren't able to complete a service was due to dogs being in the backyard on 5/10/2023. We returned on 5/26 to complete that service per your request. The only appointment we rescheduled was 6/24 due to you advising the technician of an upcoming party and wanting the treatment closer to that date which we did on 6/29.
On 8/2/2023 we did your bi-monthly service and you communicated with your technician "you would call to set up an interior service because you're not home and the dogs are inside". Our office called you to schedule the interior and you communicated with the office that you are wanting to cancel. We made attempts via phone and email to reach you the following days 8/3, 8/7 called and emailed and you followed up and we advised an account manager would contact you and on 8/8 they did and left a voicemail at 9:37am CST. On 8/9 you called in and spoke with an account manager who instructed that a branch manager would follow up as they did 8/10 and left a voicemail and sent a text.
Our goal is always to deliver on our promises and ensure customer satisfaction. We value your feedback as it helps us improve our services and make necessary changes where needed.Review fromHarold J

1 starWorst pest control ever. The same salesperson has been to our home on 5 different occasions. He doesn’t understand English. I called the company and he still comes on the property. I called our local police department and they said next time he shows up they will arrest him. Stay away from this Company! Bad News.Review fromAyodele P

1 starOne of worst home services I ever had. I should have known not to allow them on the property by the looks of their reps. They double charged my first payment, and would not return call. Then charged me the whole service price after I wanted to cancel. The contract was voided after double charge and no response to rectify there mistake.Review fromJerry G

1 starI cancelled the contract the first day due to bad service, I was told no charge was going to be put in my card, two weeks later they changed my credit card even that it was cancelled, this company is a complete scam to customers, I am Active Duty in the Military and will use JAG to make sure they don't rip off other Uniform Service Members, DO NOT USE THEM! . They are Con artists, it's a shame a company can be so dishonest to hard working Soldiers.Review fromRoger K.

1 starDoor to door salesperson came to our door. Not sure for a few minutes who she was and what she wanted. Finally figured out she was pedaling pest control services. Had no business card or information to give me. I told her I was fine and please do not do anything to our home or lawn. Sounded more like a scam artist than a business person. My wife and I were both very Leary of her and what she was doing in the neighborhood.Review fromShanah J

1 starDoor to door Urbanex salespeople in Georgia are liars. Tried to support a young man of color who was selling in our neighborhood. Both my husband and I specifically told the young man that we were willing to pay for a 1 time service which he said was $70. He asked me to sign his tablet stating that I was allowing him to service my home. Next thing I know, I was charged $100 and had 3 days to cancel a year long contract. I called and called for 3 days. Got disconnected several times holding to wait for the account manager only for him to tell me it would cost $200 to cancel the contract. They are thieves and sheisty business folk. STAY AWAY!!!!Review fromGina M

They automatically charged me $200 for a contract i never signed. They go door to door trying to sell you on their pest control product which i do not need i have no pest problem i told them this when they came to my door the first time they show up today at my house this morning and applied something to my lawn and now have sent me a receipt for $60 for work today which i specifically asked them not to do as i we had another company already taking care of the lawn. they reimbursed me $200 but they say i am still responsible for todays application. I texted the service guy and specifically told him NOT TO COME ON MY PROPERTY this morning. And he still came and treated the lawn. this feels like a big scam to meUrbanex Pest Control

We have done a through investigation on the account based on the information that was provided. On 5/19/2023 our door to door salesman spoke with the customer and she signed up for pest control services and provided her card information for services. Upon signing the agreement for services we emailed the agreement (contract) to the same email from this review at 4:15pm EST outlining the terms. Our technician performed the initial service at 5:41pm EST.
On 5/25/2023 we left a voicemail and sent the following text to the number on file. "This is Urbanex Pest Control checking in to make sure your 1st service went well. Just a friendly reminder that we'll be back in 30-45 days for your recurring service, which is a paid service and it is crucial to ensure that you see a further decrease in bugs. Welcome to the Urbanex family!"
6/17/2023 we issued a text advising we would be coming to do the service indicated above on 6/19/2023. The customer responded with "No need to come out I will be in and out all day. I have no money". We attempted to reschedule to which she declined.
One of our account care managers attempted to reach out via phone & text unsuccessfully on 6/20/2023. We issued the follow email and text. "I attempted to reach you by phone today but had to leave a voicemail. I received your request to cancel your active Pest and Rodent subscription with Urbanex and would like to assist you in resolving that request. Just so you are aware because you are still within your one-year service agreement there would be an early cancellation fee of $200.00 to close out the account. If we do not hear from you within two business days, we will go ahead and proceed with closing out your account. Please give me a call back at 615-434-5774 at your earliest convenience."
6/22/2023 we made the same attempt again then processed the payment as stated above. Following the payment being processed the customer called in and agreed to continue services as long as we refund the $200 and 1/2 off the next service. We then had the appointment scheduled for 6/30 and the technician was doing the service already when he received the text not to do the service.Review fromVirginia G

1 starUrbanex is a company that is all talk but no value. They are good at assuring they will handle things correctly and promptly yet never follow through. From their sales staff to their technicians to their management they offer hollow words and worst service. They did such a lackluster job that we were told they would refund us due to their poor performance yet they cannot even do that correctly. The issue seems to come from the top down. Please save your time and money and give it to a company that earns it.
