1 starI'm a resident of ******** with a small business. I recently signed a contract with ***/HQ/Regus for a virtual address and wasn't provided accurate information upon request. I confirmed with my initial ***resentative, ****** *., that my contract did not include mail forwarding. After the contract was signed I learned that it actually did contain a hidden fee and requested to cancel contract the next day via text to ****** but received no return call or text, after she hounded me with texts previous day to sign the contract. Is should've ran then. I contacted the City Manager for my area next day to ****** and was told this "you're locked in". I'm kicking myself because I didn't do my normal due diligence and research this company. Once I did I learned of their deceptive practices via numerous complaints and a F rating on BBB, I reached out to ***** ******, the area manager for ******** and ******** same day and after receiving a ***ly and not given any explanation why the initial *** didn't return my call even though she was at work that next day, he asked if he could call me back on Monday (2 business days later). Rather than call he emailed and I was pretty much given the "contract says" spiel. He did waive the deceptive/hidden/undisclosed fee attached to the contract. However, I'm still requesting to cancel this contract. I'm just writing to add to the many consumer complaints about this company and hopefully you'll avoid this company.Review fromCandice B

1 starExtremely Disappointed New Business Owners Beware of Regus Office Space As a business owner striving to build a reputable and professional brand, I chose Regus to launch my new office location for ******** Auto, trusting that I would receive the support, transparency, and professionalism promised during my initial sales conversation with ******** Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of dishearteningand at this point, completely unacceptable. On April 26th, I made a payment of $1,300 under the clear understanding that my first month was free. Not even a full week later, I was informed I needed to pay for June's rent before May 15thwhich was never communicated to me during onboarding. Who pays rent a month in advance without notice or proper invoicing? I paid the June rent on May 28th, well before the start of the month, only to be hit with a late fee and told it would not be reversed, despite having clear proof of timely payment.Regus has made it extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone who has the authority or compassion to resolve issues. Their customer service structure feels intentionally unhelpful. I have not even been a client for 60 days, and I have faced nothing but problemsfrom delays in receiving my business phone number (which I had to chase down twice), to this unacceptable late fee situation. This is not how you treat business ownersespecially small and growing companies trying to maintain professionalism and stability. The lack of transparency, communication, and basic customer care is ************* any new or small business considering Regus: Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. They make it sound easy and welcoming, but the reality is layered with hidden policies, poor communication, and systems that penalize you unfairly.I will not be doing business with Regus again, and I strongly caution others before committing to any agreement with them.Review fromNatasha S

1 starThis company is a con. They signed me up for an annual contract which I never used. I paid for a year and before renewal terminated the service. Yet they continued to bill me. My contract had an end date of April 30 2025. When I reached out they told me that in the small print of the contract it is required that you terminate three months before the end of the contract otherwise you will automatically agree to sign another year contract. No one ever mentioned this when I signed up over the phone. Not sure what needs to be done but definitely looking into what the state of CT can do.Review fromMatthew C

1 starI signed a 1 year lease with a ************* a couple months ago. Without a doubt it is the worst business experience I've probably ever had. Incredibly dishonest and misleading when looking at spaces and talking to them. They make everything sound great, tell you no extra fees, etc. etc., knowing full well they can lie to your face and that it doesn't matter what they say. It only matters what they can get you to sign. So when I was sent a lease and just trusted the leasing manager and what he said, I didn't go over it with a fine tooth comb like I should have. DO NOT BELIEVE A SINGLE THING THEY TELL YOU!!!! Read through everything before you sign, including the attachments that aren't part of the actual lease, but given as additional links like "house rules" you'll have to read through to see all the extra fees. The latest of many issues I've had with them is I paid my first invoice a month ago and didn't add my payment as the "default payment". The sent me an email which I just assumed was a confirmation for my payment... didn't even look at it until a couple weeks later. Found out that email said if I didn't add a default payment within about a week they were going to charge me an additional months rent that they would hold as a retainer (even though the original retainer was already 2 months rent and you only get half of that back cause they're going to charge $3,000+ to "wipe down desks and walls" when you leave). I honestly don't understand how these people are still in business. I don't say this about too many people, but these guys are horrible human beings. They know exactly what they're doing, and their fine print protects them. They get enough suckers like me that don't look at reviews or anything before signing up and by the time you do it's too late. I'll never rent from them again, but they don't care. They'll just lie to the next person that will trust them and sign. If anyone wants to do a class action lawsuit please count me in.Review fromChristopher C

1 starOrganized Crime-Gotti-******-*******-/BMF/******-Regus(Alive Not Armed But Dangerous)Had I read these reviews before I would not have placed something I care so deeply about in an environment of organized crime.I'm astonished they haven't been hit with major class action lawsuit as its overtly apparent my case is not an isolated incident but more so patterns of behavior. It's obvious and clear to us all that coercion, poor communication, laziness, intimidation, misrepresentation, pseudo contractual language, and overall lack luster service is apart of the employee handbook. The "contract" language gives remnants of a Cash Money 360 music deal. Just waiting for Birdman to pop out any minute.1) I received an e-mail Jan 14 that a new office was in my name. On Jan 14 within an hour or so of getting the email I replied I did not want office nor authorize the new office. They pretty much said "fcuk you pay me" ****-Z Reasonable Doubt album voice*2) Sending e-mail Feb 25 to reduce 6 parking spots- they are $165 per I might add. We only needed 3. It wasn't until May 9 that they acknowledged e-mail and made change. But please believe we were charged and had to pay for March April and May. How Sway?3) Not returning deposits after you vacate an office. They say 8-10 weeks.4) E-mailing leader Smart ******* double digit times---zero responses 5) Receiving this e-mail response about unauthorized office: "Technically, you're right that an office can be placed in your name without your knowledge" IKYFL 6) Being told "sales people will be sales people" from their operations manager pertaining to a sales tactic misrepresentation 7) Not including me on any of the emails about new office but e-mailing after complete then telling me I can't get out of lease malicious/conniving quite much?8) Filing/posting eviction notice and leaving on my door 4/24 when payment was made 4/17. 1 starPurchase of virtual office in the contract stated mail handling it is automatically applied. I realize this after a month later because an email was sent during the welcome week email that someone will help me with mail handling. No employee reached out to help me by the way so now in October 2024 I went to cancel mail handling, and the person at the front desk said that youre good to go and mail handling is canceled. After that I continuously got charged for mail handling in which I didnt receive ANY mail and I opted out it. They continuously over charge me for a good four months until I emailed them stating i will no longer work after them. my business does not exist and theyre still coming after me for a business that does not exist and stating I still owe them after them breaching our contract. The contract doesnt even say they have to keep charging me even though i am no longer with the company and dont receive any services from themReview fromANOOP M

1 starI booked a day office through Regus and shortly after, I changed my mind and decided to cancel. I contacted their customer service to cancel my reservation well within 24 hours of booking, expecting to receive a full refund as is standard with most booking policies. However, Regus refused to issue a refund, citing policies that were not clearly communicated at the time of booking. Despite my timely attempt to cancel, they were unwilling to communicate or work with me on a reasonable solution. This experience was extremely disappointing. Their lack of transparency and rigid handling of cancellations feels unfair and unacceptable.Review fromJa M

1 starI signed up for a month to month lease in January 2025 to start on 2/3/25. After 2 weeks at the location I had signed for they told me the building owner was canceling their agreement with Regus. They offered me an office at another location.I run a tax business and it was my busy time so I agreed. They sent me a new agreement for the new space, but what I didnt notice was that it was an annual lease. When I canceled at the end of March so that it would end on 4/30/25 as I was told to do, I saw that the end date was 3/31/26.They allegedly changed it to monthly, but their app wouldnt let me cancel the agreement.I havent gotten my retainer back and was charged for May. I couldnt cancel my card so I changed the expiration date.I still havent heard from their local staff or the company even though the *** me about $150!If I could rate this cluster lower than 1 I would.
