      I had a very professional experience with my genetics counselor about my screening results. She was thorough in explaining all of the information to me and was reassuring and very pleasant about my concerns. Would highly recommend Natera, especially would recommend to set a complimentary phone appointment to discuss your results from the screening itself. The information relayed in the physical/emailed copy can be overwhelming, but after speaking to a counselor on the phone, I was more informed and at ease. My screening was provided through a doctor, so I did not have to pay out of pocket for this service. Great experience!

      Natera is a total scam. My genetic testing cost $10,505.00. My husband's cost the same. That's right. The total cost of Natera testing our genes was equal to about $21,010.00. That's a lot of money for a few vials of blood being looked at in some lab in **********. Our doctor *insisted* that we *must* do genetic testing before having our baby. As is the case for millions of Americans, there was nothing to be concerned about, no problem with our genes, no issues that would affect our future children. Companies like Natera truly deserve to be shut down since they use fear to market their services ("There might be something wrong with your genes, your baby, etc"), and they give no up front disclosures about the cost of their services. Healthcare providers who endorse genetic testing also play a role in this serious abuse of insurance companies. This is truly one of the worst healthcare scams I have come across in my life. Do not let your healthcare provider insist that this genetic testing is necessary. I promise it is not. Furthermore, someone should be taking Natera to court because this is obviously the type of scam that is on the same plane as MLMs, since it uses psychological manipulation (instilling fear in patients) via financial buyouts (buyouts of the healthcare provider) to make money. It is wrong.

      Thieves. The admit they over charged but are denying me a refund of $388. The representative even agreed that I would have better luck disputing the claim on my bank account. This business practice is ridiculous and unjust.

      Their 5-7 calendar days for results is BS. They dont update you and will tell you to register your kit so you can look at results, but when you call for assistance when its already been 7 days they say oh it can take longer. Other companies such as labcorp has a small waiting time, if you are unable to provide a service within a specific timeframe, you need to state that before you get peoples money. Yes I contacted their customer support spoke to several different people and all gave me the same generic response so dont expect them to help you out. STAY AWAY.

      I spoke with a representative, ****** about billing as I had set up monthly payments for my **** for $75 a month. The second month of our automatic payments Natera took out remaining $674.10 amount on the **** instead of the i ital $75 a month. When calling about this issue, ******, who I spoke to said that it was our fault we signed up our automatic payment wrong and thats why it had processed the full amount. I asked for a refund of the full amount and to have the monthly automatic payment amount of $75. ****** stares they do not do that, he would be in a request with refund department, it would take **** days to hear back from the refund department then ***** days for the refund. I asked to be transferred to that department so I could speak to someone, ****** stated I could not be transferred as they are a back-end department. I asked then to be transferred to his manager or someone else that I could talk to, he stated he could not do that. I then asked then if I could get an email of the details about the amount charged, the refund and their policy since I was unable to talk to the refund department. ****** stated he could not email me those details. I asked where to find those terms of refund policy and automatic payment sine they cant email me those terms, he stated he can. I asked where they could be posted on Nateras website so I could read them, he stated they are not on the website . How am I or other patience to know about the refund policy if its not posted, you wont email it to me and its not in your terms that are available for me to read. ****** then hung up instead of transferring me. Natera I hope you recorded this call as stated in the beginning, I would like to know where its stated that when signing up for automatic payments the patient fails to sign up correctly they have to way ***** days for a full refund after waiting **** days on a response from your back end refund department that no one is able to talk to.

      8/23/22 - I called to resolve an issue with automatic payment as they had taken one monthly payment of $75 then the second month collected the total amount of my ****. I spoke with Representative ****** for billing about receiving a refund since automatic payment was suppose to be $75 ans not the remaining balance of $674.10. ******, said that issue was because I filled out the automatic payment wrong like many others do and for that he cannot refund me the amount. I asked again for a refund of the full amount and to have the monthly automatic payment amount of $75 since that is what I did sign up for and did not in fact fill out the Monthly payment agreement wrong. ****** stated they do not do do refunds, he could request with refund department, it would take **** days to hear back if they approved my refund from the refund department then ***** days for the refund if it was accepted. I asked to be transferred to refund ***** so I could speak to someone there . ****** stated I could not be transferred as they are a back-end department. I asked then to be transferred to his manager or someone else that I could talk to , he stated he could not do that. I then asked then if I could get an email of the details about the amount charged, the automatic payment agreement he was referring to that myself and many others wrongfully sign up for and the refund along with their policy since I was unable to talk to the refund department. ****** stated he could not email me those details. I asked where to find those terms and everything I had just asked about since they cant email me those terms, he stated he cant do that . I asked where they could be posted on Nateras website so I could read these so policies and terms, he stated they are not on the website. How am I or other patients to know about Nateras refund policy if its theres no policy in your terms, you wont email any policy to me and its not on your website in any of the terms. ****** then proceeded to hang up instead of transferring me to solve this issue. Natera I hope you recorded this call so you can email me my conversation with ****** along with the terms of your refund, automatic and customer service policy for my records
