******************. Signed up for service every other week. They said my grass grew to fast they needed to switch to every week. I didn't see the message until after they had already started cutting weekly. Tried to cancel and couldn't do so online told me I needed to download the app. I wasn't able to download it and couldnt call during the time frame they gave to call and cancel. I cut my own grass on May 26th later that day they sent an email saying they would be out between May 28th and may 29th. The lawn "pro" came may 27th and ran the lawnmower over already cut grass and then charged me for it. I would think a professional should be able to look at the grass and say hey that's been cut in the last day or so. I'm now being told that I didn't cancel service in time I explained that I was just able to download the app to be able to cancel. I find it deceptive to be able to sign up for the service online and not be able to cancel unless you use an app.LawnStarter

Do not do business with this company!! They will quote low prices to get you to use their services but once they have your credit card info. They will make unauthorized charges. I was charged twice for a service I didnt get. I called several times and they said they will look into it but never got back and never credited me. Additionally their charges are very high for services I got much cheaper at other companies.LawnStarter

Where do I start? I had found Lawnstarter on the Internet. Because I need to have my grass cut and pushes trimmed. I had told the representative that I only available to get the services on the weekend only because of my work schedule. I was told to message the guy to come out to service my property. I messaged him several times with no response. I called the customer ********************** number and the representative was totally inexperience. She stated that my service was between Saturday to Monday. I may add Monday is memorial Day. No one is working on the holiday then I decided to just cancel the service because of lack of communication and there is no experienced **** to take care of my issue. About it an hour later I received an email stating that my services were completed. I called them and got the runaround because I wanted to make sure that I wasnt being charged for services that I didnt receive and that my account was canceled before it even begin and after that, I asked for an email to confirm that I will not be charged for anything and that my services will cancel. And it only showed that I got a credit for the lawnmower and only but I was still being billed for the **** trimming. And they kept reassuring me that I would not be charged. Future customers I ask that you truly be aware of these people because based off my experience, they do not honor our appointments and customer ********************** is horrible. They try to keep trying reeling me back in. But I was very adamant about going elsewhere. The staff needs to be retrained and also to whom ever reading this please be aware of companies that only post positive reviews of their service. Remember their negatives one of the most important things in business is to be transparent. You need to post positive or negativeand let the Potential customer be the judge. This was a terrible terrible experience because I spent four hours trying to resolve this issue. These people get a big F.LawnStarter

If I could rate less I would. I never did work on my lawn. The kept rescheduling so I closed my account but, customer ********************** would not accept this and sent someone out to attempt to do my lawn, I stopped them and I asked them to leave. My yard had just been done day before!I sent a text to their so called app and told them a third time, that I closed my account, I never had ********************** on my yard and do not want service with them. I told them I would call police if they keep trespassing on my property and involve legal. Buyers be ware. They are forcing lawn service whether you want it or not.LawnStarter

If I can get zero stars I would this is a horrible company as a third-party company to go through. Had two scheduled appointments both times nobody showed up 10 and 10. Dont recommend go find your local lawn company, mom and Pop and do that because this website that hires people contracts them out. Its like a ********. They dont work for them. Their pro showed up to mow my lawn. I opened the gate to the backyard fence for him. The gate was perfectly fine (it was just installed last summer). I go back out there a couple hours later after he was done to shut it- and the gate is totally ruined and broken and off the hinges.Jeez- I wonder how else that could have happened other than the guy who was out here riding heavy machinery around my gate less than 2 hours before I discovered it. No storms, no heavy winds that day either just to clarify- perfectly normal day.LawnStarter is refusing any help in damages and repairs- saying their pro did not cause the damage because I dont have video evidence (as expected).Update- LawnStarter reached out to me and I was told they would re-open my case, however, I was notified shortly after telling me that my claim was still denied because "they have their claims team has their own process to follow".Well- their process isn't good then and my case is proof of that and now I am out -$1,500 thanks to their process and unwillingness to use common sense. If any one of those employees had the exact same situation happen to them they would be equally frustrated.Finally, a company is only as good as the service, people and processes it deploys and I had a terrible experience with all the above. I do NOT recommend this service. As far as I am concerned- they will forever be the company that showed up and caused $1,500 worth of damages and left without taking responsibility. Ive been a customer of ********************** for years, and its proven to be unreliable more often than not. The crews hardly ever come out when they are scheduled to. They make it very difficult to give any feedback through their app. Ive had to request several new crews after multiple no-shows, and they dont seem to care why I ever submitted those requests. And unfortunately, each crew seemed to be worst than the last. My current service has been rescheduled multiple times, and Im now 2.5 weeks overdue when the original mow was scheduled to be completed. My yard is horrifying, Im absolutely mortified at how overgrown it is. I wouldnt be surprised if someone came and did a wellness check on me. This was the last straw and the motivation I needed to buy my own mower so that I never have to rely on this company ever again. I would never recommend this company to anyone.LawnStarter

0 scheduled for them to come out 2 days after call they kept pushing my date back then charged me extra saying my grass was 9 inches long which I know it was not .they was suppose to come 2 weeks later didnt show sent text saying it was rescheduled for next day they never showed I called company they said they put me with someone else I didnt hear anything so I called them they tell me the person they rescheduled me for no longer work with them so they have to find someone else in the mean time my grass is growing this is a scam they keep rescheduling so they can charge extra for the long grass scam stay away.LawnStarter
