I canceled my lawn feeding service with LawnStarter in May of 2022. They still came out and feed my lawn after another service did the same service a week earlier. Now I hav dead spots on my lawn. I asked for a local manager call me never happened. Worsted customer ********************** ever.LawnStarter

Horrible. Nobody shows up and they change the agreed upon price. I agreed to 3 cuts for $19,$60,$60. They rescheduled the first service after the first guy never showed up and apparently quit their service, so they say. The next guy didn't show up so I contacted support again. They then changed it to $19, then over $70 for additional cuts instead of $60, adding about $25 to what I agreed to. Support ignored my email about the price change and rescheduled the service for the next morning. I cancelled the scheduled service with the guy directly, telling him 'don't come, Lawnstarter is jacking me around and I'm not going to use them'. I then cancelled my entire account with them in their app. The app said ok, you're cancelled after your third service. This is a total scam. Bait and switch. I had to turn off my credit card because I guess they think they can just charge you for saying someone will come, whether your lawn ever gets cut or not. I know it sounds crazy but I will *** them for the total amount of $19+69.99+1.99+69.99+1.99=$163 just on principal and I know I can't be the only person they have scammed. Please contact me if there is any class action suit against Lawnstarter. They cannot be allowed to rip people off.LawnStarter

Scam. Extra random charges on my bills with no explanation. Missed services that were marked complete and charged in full. No refunds when I requested them for being charged for no service. Now Im out over $100 and they only offer $15 in credit.LawnStarter

They charged my son 400 dollars for a small/medium yard for suburbs stating the grass was 4 ft tall. It was long because it hadnt been cut for a month but it was not 4ft long. Home owners association would have been in contact with us if that was the case. They didnt even edge by sidewalk or drive way. We have an electrical box and light and they were not edged either. The yard looks horrible. 400 dollars to mow someones yard. Shameful. Reached out to company and havent heard back. I have video and pictures.LawnStarter

1) CONSTANT cancellations from so called "Tier 1 *************** cancelled on DAY OF with NO notice *********** accepted work, then at 3:30PM DAY OF, claimed that the services would need to be rescheduled... HA! WHY would I trust you to come later, when you couldn't come when you initially agreed to do so?!2) Inconsistent communication and lack of response 3) "Pros" (I use the term extremely loosely) are UNPROFESSIONAL and UNRESPONSIVE 4) LawnStarter doesn't KNOW these people from a hole in the ground... Don't have a clue as to the providers' true character or business ethics USELESS, USELESS, USELESS!Tip for consumers:If you really want results, do not trust @Lawnstarter.com Products used:None. No **mmunication with this ** to they charge for each thing I cancelled two items and just what'd them to just cut my yard . No one show up . And their reply was that they may still be out. I told her that I was her in Ga as nd no one has showed up yet. She did say she would cancel the other services that I order . This is sad how people start this **. Be careful giving your atm card# cause this company will remove the money they want without even telling you. The first service they did to me is double pay for a small lawn and when I ask them several times I was ignored by the company. And when I told them to cancel my service they still remove the fee even without doing the service. I called them several times but nothing was done and its been a week now.LawnStarter

be careful of all their add on charges. my $19 first mow, turned out be be more than $71. they explained and justified. but $71 to cut my small yard is outrages. they were not there more than 15 mins. they did a good job, but i will find someone that i can trust.LawnStarter
