      I spoke to a young man on 6/23/23 who was selling services for Alta Pest Control. I told him there were two issues I was concerned about - ground *************** When I showed him the area with the bees, he said "we cover those". Then I showed him the burrowing lines and said I have a gopher problem. He said "they could be rats". Then he pointed to his screen with the rodent picture and said that would be part of the coverage. He never said "we don't cover gophers" leaving me to assume they did because that's what my problem was. I also pointed to the ground where the burrowing lines were and asked him how they deal with them and he said they trap them. He then said initial treatment was normally $349.00 but he would give me a $300 discount. I agreed to a one year deal of $49.00 plus tax per month. The next day on 6/24 a serviceman treated my property, dug up what he called ********* bees & treated them but said someone would need to come out again for another treatment. When I showed him the gopher problem he said "we don't cover gophers", they're not part of rodent warranty. I asked ****** if gophers were rodents and it said burrowing gophers are rodents, moles are not. I called on 6/26 to schedule second visit for bee treatment and they couldn't come out until 7/3. When I called on 6/27 to voice my complaint about the gophers the person I spoke to tried to help but her boss said she could only give me a $25 credit. She said I had one more day to cancel but the bee issued had not been resolved so I didn't. But when the serviceman came he informed me that they were *****, not ********* bees, and they don't treat them because they're important for gardens & agriculture in general. So I cancelled on 7/5 but they charged me $300 (less $25 credit), saying initial discount was non refundable. So I paid $53.61 for first treatment & $275 for nothing. My issues were not taken care of. I felt that the salesman was manipulative, deceptive and dishonest.

      Hey better business,I received a letter in the mail in july from " alta pest control" claiming we had an unpaid balace from them for 85$ for services done in June. we never had services done, no one had come to us to confirm any work to be done or any proof showing this had been done. I called alta and they explained we had signed an 18 month long contract with them and that to cancel early we would have to pay a almost 500$ early cancellation fee. they sent me this signed "contract" via email. it's possible a door to door came by when i wasn't home and conned my father going into his 70s and who speaks very little english into signing a contract for a service we never asked for/seeked out. however, in their "contract" it shows my fathers name incorrect, email address wrong and his "signature" is far off from his actual signature. called them a couple times and the business also claimed that the initial payment for the service was paid for with a credit card my father owned that was cancelled 3 years ago due to fraud from someone who got his credit information, yet they claimed my father made a payment using this now physically non-existant credit card. I went to their physical location of business to see if they were real in any way, i can confirm when i went back last month, their supposed location at ************************************ is vancant, there is no business there. all we want is to cancel this service we never signed up for. I can provide the letters they sent along with the supposed contract and if this can go further to help us with this company, we can provide proof from **** of america showing this card they claimed we used was canceled and rendered useless 3 years ago.any help would be fantastic, thank you!

      Hi, I did purchase one treatment when your representative came to my door. After I decide not to continue service. I also emailed them stating no more service.. today this day of 8-3-2023 I received a statement of $53 and some cents, I know I dont owe money to you. Please clarify. Thank you.

      23.08.03 Alta Pest Control Rep rang our (Ring) doorbell at 09:03:32. I was still asleep, and my husband was in the restroom. At 09:03:57 the Rep walked away from the door and back to his vehicle. At 09:09:16 the video shows the Rep walking down our sidewalk with a pressure sprayer (manual hand-pumped sprayer), spraying along our flower bed pavers. 09:09:29 he walked the appx ********************************************************** the box around the tree, and then is seen walking back to his truck at 09:09:45. The recording of the Rep stops at 9:10:05. At 09:10:13, ***************** is gone from our driveway. This service was supposed to include a fogger treatment of both the front and back yard which was not performed. There is no way that he did the fogger treatment in 8 seconds. I called the company to let them know this, and they used every excuse they could, and then basically called me a liar and said that the Rep had used a certain amount of chemicals that they have to report by law and he could send me the list. I already had the list, which was included in their email summary. I know what I saw, and what the camera saw, and I don't appreciate how they handled this. The customer service rep was polite and was just doing his job, but the company is obviously unconcerned with their field reps not doing their job properly, as I'm sure it saves them money in chemicals. I have a one year contract with them, this was the 3rd "service" and, according to the *** it would cost $404 to cancel. In my opinion THEY nullified this contract by not performing the service they are contracted to perform.

      Alta pest control is a pest control company that we have been working with for a year now. They have no called no showed multiple times and sometime call same day saying they cant come. We have had one singular issue the whole time we have used them and that is brown recluses. If anything the issue has simply gotten worse. When they do show up nothing is ever resolved. They have quite literally scammed us out of hundreds of dollars and still want more for an issue they cant resolve.

      Our issue with Alta Pest Control is basically they want us to pay a ****** dollar cancelation fee. After one treatment in June 2023. We believed it was a monthly service Their service is quarterly not monthly and they want us to pay 40 dollars monthly for the months with no service. We paid them for what they did. Their presentation is deceptive. Additionally we told them we don't want to do business with them. However they continue to call us , and email us.

      Alta Pest Control is demanding payment for services never rendered and work never done!On May 3rd, 2023, after multiple sales calls, etc. I signed their contract and prepaid $1,710.35 to have them do a "Full Rodent Exclusion" work: where they would come out to my house and externally repair rodent holes and install metal flashing to resist future incursions, and internally, within the home, set rodent traps, and sanitize the attic area, etc. I waited and waited for them to start the work. A month past and nothing was done, I had called multiple times and still nothing was done. Eventually, I called to cancel the service. This was the same time as the company changed names, etc. to the new company, Alta Pest Control. Nothing, no work was ever done! So, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. **** has proceeded to harass me by email (15 emails), calls by phone, and letters saying that my account was over due and adding late fees, after I formally fired Alta Pest Control from servicing my home and called to dispute the lack of work done for the "Full Rodent Exclusion," that they were charging me $1,710.35. I called, and emailed Alta Pest Control multiple times with no success to dispute the charge for a lack of work and have them correct their billing mistakes but they refused and still demanded payment for services NOT preformed! I demand Alta cease all harassment, correct their billing by removing all outstanding charges! Alta, and their poor customer service, have become an aggressive, uncaring, undependable, untrustworthy, and a disreputable company that I want nothing to do with! Everyone should beware these scammers!

      I was in the middle of moving, a single mom with three children. And *********************************, showed up at my doorstep with a high pressure, sales agreement, and lots of sweet talk about how great the pest control service was going to be, and how pleased all my neighbors were. He named the neighbors by name. He had me sign a contract on a computer, and it was very difficult to read. My son had to help me understand it. The mosquitoes on my property after several months of this service are the same as ever. Further, I had a hornets nest and the hornets are stinging my dogs, and I cannot get a hold of anyone at this company even during their normal business hours. They do not have anyone to answer the phones. When you get on the login page it seems intentionally difficult to actually get into your account. The print is tiny and your account number is off of the end of the page so you cannot read it. Then it will tell you your password is wrong and have you re-login keeps sending you different codes etc. They have an email form you can fill out that no one gets back to you on. I have had pest control services in this area before and they answer immediately and they come out and solve issues. Not this one. I called in my contract and theyre going to charge me $400. I am livid and Im going to talk to my credit card company about it but this is terrible business practices. No customer service they did not fulfill their end of the agreement which is to control your pests slippery sleazy sales approaches an impossible to get a hold of.

      In April around the 18th or 19th, Chase from Alta pest control was out soliciting in the neighborhood. I had already told him no, earlier in the day. ***** came back around, early evening, after an hour of me saying no Chase talked me into signing up for pest service, He promised they would spray around the house, 3 ft up the house and 5 ft out. then spray the inside of the house. Then they would spread granules all around my yard and around the ** in the back. 1st Visit they sprayed around the edge of house but not like they had told me, they would not do the inside because i was told that's not included unless its arranged ahead of time, and the granules were only put on some on the ant hills they saw. I called they send someone out again. the only thing he did was spread some granules on some of the ant hills but to ** was to far, and inside only sprayed a couple windows and set some traps. I continued to have ant problems, set up another appointment, June 20th. I placed flags on all ant hills and i waited for my 10:30 appt. no one showed until 2:30. I had left, i had been informed I did not need to be present as they were only doing the outside, they left without doing anything. When I signed up ***** recorded me in reference to service, I asked if he recorded what services i would be provided and I never got that information. I just want to terminate this service, but **** wants me to pay the discount for the services provided already, they have never provided a complete service to this day.

      I have one year contract with this pest control and as per my contract they are suppose to service my home in May 2023. No one showed up on this month and my contract should ended by this month as this is the last service. Now they scheduled an appointment on July 24th and asking me to pay for that service. I already moved to a different service provider and I asked them to cancel my service and they asking me to pay extra $200 though I cancelled it after 1 year as per my contract.I will attach here the proofs of my contract here
