They swore to me repeatedly their products were safe for my dogs but all 5 of my furbabies have been ill and vomiting ever since they came here a week ago. I demand they cancel my hard sold contract of $139 a month FOR FREE, refund the $39 I've already paid, and provide me with a complete and truthful list of ingredients in their products to give to my veterinarian and never return to my home.Business Response

Company promised services they did not deliver upon. I was promised by the salesperson that the technician would clean cobwebs and bees nests while they sprayed for bugs. This did not happen, I went to their portal and made a complaint they said I needed to call them. Every time I called the automated system would not get me to a person to get my issue fixed so I sent a message through their text program saying I wanted to cancel. Tried reaching them multiple times but kept getting told I needed to call them and couldnt get through finally was able to answer when they called and know they claim I owe them $290 for cancellation and another ****** for July and august and late fees even though I tried to cancel on July 5 th before both of those would have been due. This is some shady business practices that they fee I need to hold up to my side of a contract that they were in breach of firstBusiness Response

On 9/14/23 I had **** out to give me a free inspection for rodents or termites. After a brief viewing of the attic and crawl space I was advised that I had a large infestation of mice in both areas. I was told it was a critical matter and needed to be taken care of as soon as possible. **** had me sign paperwork on his tablet with my initials and told it would cost $13,080. I then received later that day emails of this contract. I had another company out to check if this is correct and was advised that there is minimal note in either space of any rodents and it was not necessary to have any further work at this time. I have had no droppings in my home at this time or any time this year. I have multiple bait boxes around the perimeter of the house. Today 9/15/23 3:24 pm I have advised them by phone and email cancelling the same. Secondly in talking to ***** at Atlas at 3:24 this afternoon I asked for no further services of pest control be done. He advised me they were going to charge me $250 to cancel. I do not believe I should be charged for this since they apparently are giving false information to me about the rodents and I don't want to have anything further to do with them.Bottom line I am asking for reimbursement of the $250 if they charge it and total cancellation of any contract for $13,080.00.Business Response

Please help, I hired Alta pest control. I paid approximately $1,100 for service that have not been completed. I paid for a service for mice in the walls. I still have mice in the walls???? I paid for treatment of large spiders and webs along my fence and gutters. They charged $110 for this service. They never sprayed the spiders. I am having to go to ******* on my birthday and spray the spiders myself.Business Response

At the beginning of August 2023 we had Alta pest control called us and offered us a home inspection and we agreed. The inspector came out while only my wife was home working and did the inspection. We were told the house was infested with mice (we have had not site or evidence of mice) they came and installed the traps in the attic and garage and never sealed the places they said they were going to seal since then a tech and a different installer have came out and said theres no sign that mice have been in the house at all, no traps were set off an no mice in any traps. We have been told by multiple people that this inspector has multiple reports on him for this type of work and **** wont do anything about it. I have yet to be able to talk to an actual manager or supervisor with multiple requests to talk to them or get a call back from themBusiness Response

Today a door to door salesman from Alta Pest Control came by ans talked to me about their service. He explained that they would treat my house quarterly for $39.00 plus tax. I repeated the terms to him that I would pay that amount quarterly for a total of about $120.00 and he agreed. However, when I went to sign the agreement it was for $39.00 monthly not quarterly so I told him to cancell. I need to be reassured by the company that I do not have any agreement for services with them and will not owe them any money.Business Response

Date: &/21/2023 Money paid: $0.00 Issue: Alta Pest Control is using scare tactics and possible discriminatory tactics to harass or scare people into buying their services. A representative came by my house twice today to try and use scare tactics to convince my wife that we needed their quarterly pest control services. Even though I answered the door and said I would speak with him he insisted on speaking with the, queen of the house. The entire sales pitch was centered around telling me that bugs are all around my house and will het into the walls. I explained I treated my own home and have had no issues in 6+ years. Each time I attempted to decline the offer or services I was met with a rebuttal by the rep to why the services were needed: do you like bugs, pest controls is like medical insurance, and does your wife like bugs around the house. It was evident that the rep wanted to speak with a female and that their plan was tj scare them with the thought of bugs to get their services. After I declined for the 3rd time the rep asked, its just $39 is that something youd be willing to pay just to give me a shot and to help me out. It sounded like he just wanted a sale. After I explained I felt disrespected, the rep told me why I shouldnt feel like that because I, misunderstood what he said. I recalled our conversation to which he walked over to his hover board to leave. I explained one final time I wasnt interested and that I wanted him to leave my property and that I understood their scare tactic to talk to only females. He swiftly left after my final request to leave before getting authorities involved. They want to speak to females only, they use bugs to scare whomever they speak with, and he got upset after multiple attempts to decline services tj the point where he begged for us to purchase it to help him out. Its unprofessional and felt like a form of harassment.Business Response

The salesperson came door to door in our neighborhood. I had a bad ant problem he said he could take care of that day. Told me he sent me a contract via email. I said I did not want to sign a contract due to being taken advantage of before. He said a debit card would take off that days service. So he processed the payment via his iPad. I signed for what I thought and was told was a one time payment authorization. Now I find out I was actually signing a contract. Due to the automatic payments being taken from my account. I called them and asked to cancel. They said I signed a contract. I stated indeed I had intentionally not. She sent over an email with my electronic signature. I let her know I was told I was signing a one time payment authorization. She informed me I could pay ****** to cancel or continue to pay for the next year. Wow!!! Might I ad I would have never signed up for the service for a year anyway due to the fact its a rental. Thats unbelievable and deceptive.Business Response

On 7/23/23 Alta Pest Control offered to come to my house to see if there were any problems that needed to be resolved. Alta Pest has been my pest control company since 8/2021. The only problem *** had with them is that they havent remedied my mice problems. *** came inspected the outside of the house and the attic. When *** finished he came to me and he said that the mice have gotten into my attic. That there were holes in the ***** to the attic. There was mice tunnels, urine and f**** He also said that the insulation wasnt up to code. He immediately sold me on their attic remediation and insulation replacement. That its a lifetime warranty and no mice will ever get back up there. Work started on 7/26,two technicians ***** & *****,showed up one stood around doing nothing and the other one was up in the attic cleaning out all the insulation. After about 2 1/2 hours of them working all my carbon monoxide detectors started going off, they had their gas machine in the garage polluting the air. So the rest of the day I felt horrible. On 7/28they arrived and said today was the day they would blow in the new insulation. I asked ***** about the holes in the attic & he said they would patch the holes after the insulation is put in. What?? I was supposed to be home all day but had to leave to take my dog to the vet. I was gone 45mins &they were gone by the time I got back. When I called the office about the work that wasnt done, garage door seal, holes not patch etc, they said that someone would come back, but no one did. I called office 7/31 asked to talk to manager wouldnt let me I talked to ****** she said she would send someone back to finish job. Weds 8/2, I was to receive a call, never did. ***** supposedly came to my house but never left a card company said they have fired him. 8/7 sent ******* said he filled holes, than sealed garage door sides with a foam. 8/8 when I tried to leave garage door was stuck & broke. I recieved an email last week notifying me of an upcoming outdoor pest treatment which would take place on Friday, August 4th. I was at home until 4:30 on the 4th and no one arrived at my property. Nor did my Ring camera show any visitors. I received an email Friday evening that my pest treatment had been completed along with the chemicals used for my treatment. I called Alta Pest Control on Monday morning to inquire about the treatment time. The rep confirmed that the treatment occurred between 2:00-2:15 on August 4th. I told the rep that the technician did not treat at my property as claimed. Due to this, I wanted to cancel my service as I will not do business with a company that I cannot trust. Rep offered to send another tech out this week. I told him that wouldn't be necessary and that I needed to speak with a manager. A rep by the name of ****** called me back. She understood my frustration, said she would reach out to her manager and her goal was to get the cancellation fee removed. She called me back and advised that the manager is not able to remove the cancellation fee. I am not willing to pay the cancellation fee since the company cannot be trusted.Business Response
