      I was misled into signing a work order in which I was promised the following:Alta to address crawlspace by cleaning out, replacing vapor barrier, replacing insulation surrounding ductwork and reinstalling new preventative screening at all exterior crawlspace vent access points The insulation surrounding the ductwork was not completed. In addition there is rat f**** all over the ducting still. I clarified on multiple occasions and requested that the above language was to be included on our contract. I even requested images showing the text. The text seems to be subsequently removed or not included in my final invoice and the company has wasted multiple hours essentially calling us liars. We have images, text messages and documentation to the contrary. We are with holding a portion of the payment until a resolution can be completed.

      I purchased pest protection from Alta in April so I am a relatively new client. The technician today showed me on his issued tablet that I was only down for mosquito service. This is not the plan that I purchased. Upon calling Alta I was told that I was wrong by a very rude woman. Theyve only ever serviced a portion of the front yard. I want to be done with this company. I dont want to be refunded for anything. I just want to be done.

      I tried to call the number on their receipt to cancel further services. My phone said it was a severely dangerous number and wouldn't allow me to complete the call. Now they're billing me $70 every month and said it would be a $249 cancellation fee. Pure spam company with several similar complaints in reviews. I want it all cancelled.

      Customer signed up for quarterly services on May 18th, 2023. A copy of that signed agreement was then emailed to the client and a copy was placed on the account as well that could be viewed through the customer portal. Within the signed agreement is a 3 business day grace ******* so the client had time to review the agreement to make sure there were no misunderstandings. We did not hear back from the client about being dissatisfied with services until June 20th, 2023. 
      The client spoke with a representative on June 21st and agreed to complete the agreed upon services. If the customer wishes to close out their account, we ask they pay back the conditional discount that was given during their initial service as stated within the agreement.

      I am rejecting this response because: As stated several times before to this company, the number they gave me to call was such a highly suspicious spam number that my phone provider would not call it and hung it up with warnings to delete it from my phone. It wasn't until well into the process that they emailed a local number. Of course too late, right? Several other people have made the same complaints I have against this company in other review forums ******** Yelp, Angis, & especially BBB!!). I called the number on their paperwork they left me on 5/24/23. I still have the message on my phone from my provider how suspect the number is. I agreed to continue due to these people insisting I pay $250 to cancel because of the 'written agreement' that I couldn't cancel due to their bogus number! They said if I don't pay the $250 to cancel, they will turn me over to a collection agency. They are a horrible business that uses sleazy operating procedures. They need to be put on report.

      Alta sales men are running around our neighborhood when we asked if they were permitted in the ****************** for door-to-door sales the boy said yes to which we informed him he is required to process the permit ON&DISPLAYED on his person at all times! Both my *********** let him know it would be HIS ticket for a city violation not the company. I tried to call the local company but it just keeps hanging up

      I've been a customer since 2021. They were great at first however, since 2022 they have been horrible, they never show to schedule appointments. I've taken days off from work so their technician could go inside the house, still no show. The crazy part about it was, they would "show up"whenever I was at work. The last time they came to my house was may 3rd it was unscheduled the tech was in my front yard for 4 minutes. Didn't bother to go to my backyard or to let me know that he was here nor to tell me to reschedule for a full service. He did **** the service complete. So I was billed for an unscheduled 4 mins incomplete service. How many times did that happen? How many time did I pay 105 dollars for 4 mins of work? Why did the techs never show to schedule appointments? Definitely not worth the money.. I spent 3 or four hours on the phone with their reps they kept trying to send someone else back. I explained to ****** (supervisor) that I no longer trust them and just wanted to cancel my service, she told me that I had to pay $105 for the incomplete service or it would go to collection.

      An Alta sales person has been to our house three times in the past two months, twice on the same day, despite a "no soliciting" sign by the doorbell.

      Account: ****** Date of trans: 5/9/23 Charge: $43.60 ***************** Control sent a salesman to my house while I was away and signed a contract with a non-owner, non-authorized person.When I returned home I tried to resolve and close the account Alta now wants me to pay roughly $240 to close the account and threatened me with collections if I fail to pay.They have no contract with me or any documentation with my signature!!!!

      Customer approved setting up the account as well as scheduling and put their payment method on file. Unfortunately, he was not able to be there during the signing. But where they had approved everything else, we can only assume he approved for the roommate to sign in his name. Therefore, this customer has been held accountable for the account. 

      Since this complaint was put in, we were able to speak with the customer about this and come to a reasonable resolution that works best for both parties.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1) Business misled their so called 'special deal"

      2)it does matter whether I was aware of the offer or not.

      3) company is required to send contract to me for review prior to signing.. I would not have signed if I had a chance to view first but of course the business failed to send me any communication for a month. Why do you ask, because they had none of my information. 

      4) Per the law, no contract is binding in my name without my signature which you do not have.

      Your solution, has put a disabled person in debt. One week without food is survivable. Of course your heartless company wouldn't know that.

      Your company is nothing more than the Devil's servants. You lie, you cheat, and prey on the fact that it costs me more to get a lawyer to fight you than it is for you to make a profit off my abuse.

      This customer started up the service with the intent to receive service on May 6th, 2023. We are not able to determine whether this customer was present or not. 

      Within the agreement, each customer is given a 3 day grace ****** after receiving their initial service(s) is received and paid for. At that point they are able to close out their service without any penalty or obligation. We did not hear from this customer that they were dissatisfied with services or the initial charge until they requested to close out their service on May 22nd, 2023. 

      While speaking with a representative the customer acknowledged giving permission to the roommate to sign for service.

      We are a family owned business so we wanted to help out as much as we could while looking out for the company as well. Instead of charging this customer the full cost to close out services before the agreed completion date, we have decided to help out and pay half of that for the customer.

      I was given false information by the salesman and the company refused to make it right, costing me $350 more than I agreed to pay.

      Customer signed up for services on April 5th, 2023. A copy of this signed agreement was emailed to the customer and another copy was placed on their account. The customer's initial service for both pest ********************** and mosquito service was then completed on April 5th, 2023. Customer then emailed in on May 17th, 2023 stating that the service was great but they wanted to cancel. This customer has since disputed part of the charge for the conditional discount that was given to them during their initial service. This discount was given in good faith that they would stay with ** for 12 months. This customer has agreed to pay back that conditional discount should they cancel their services with ** before the year is completed. We have upheld our end of the signed contract and we ask that this customer upholds their end of the agreement as well.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      the company representative led me to believe that I could cancel services with no financial penalty. Their process for having me sign the agreement was unprofessional and  did not give me ample opportunity to read the fine print. I have attempted to resolve this with the company, but they refuse to honor the word of their employee that I could cancel with no penalty. I recognize that I am legally bound by the contract I signed; however, I am seeking recourse because I was lied to in the exchange that prompted me to enter the contract in the first place.

      Within the agreement it states: 

      " YOU MAY CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION, WITHOUT ANY PENALTY OR OBLIGATION, WITHIN THREE BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE ABOVE DATE. "

      Where this customer signed the agreement on the 5th of April, the 3rd business day would have been the 10th of April. This 3 business day period gives our customers time to review the agreement in full and if there is anything they are dissatisfied with, they can let us know.

      Where this customer has been talking with ** to come to a resolution that works best for both parties, we have waived the conditional discount. Their account is currently closed and they do not owe anything.

      ** January 2023 this company treated mice problems on my premises. The then said we'll be out there quarterly to treat and check the premises. Today is May 10th, 2023, they have never been back since the initial 2 times contactin January 2023. I signed only for the work done on the one day they installed traps, and removed rodents. ALTA Pest and their representative fraudulently transfered ** signature on several documents I have never seen. I called to stop the auto charge on my account because they're collecting money and have never been back to do any quarterly service. Now they demandin termination fees. They fraudulently transfer a one-time service agreement to contract that I did not sign. Please help, ALTA pest is switch and bait, ?? scam. I'm not asking for money previously taken, I just do not want anymore contact with this fraudulent comp

      In the past week Ive been contacted twice, yesterday I was home. I as well as many other members of my community are being contacted by this business that are utilizing our Citys registered Do Not Call/Contact registry. This young man came to my door and beat and rang and beat and rang until I answered only to point out the no solicitation signage on my door, plain for all to see. I am a daytime sleeper and do not wish to be disturbed. This business is unethical and less than tactful and has no respect for ordinances or the community. Ive contacted my city and they are looking into the matter.
