      I tried to dispute over $200 in fraudulent transactions and was told by customer service after about an hour of dealing with one customer service agent, laboriously relaying all the details of FIVE different transactions I had to dispute and then was escalated to LEVEL 2 of the dispute process. The level 2 guy made me relay the same info and then sent me to the ***** PREVENTION department. Then that person told me they cant declare the card lost or stolen because I have to go to SSA in person to have any changes made. Because SEVEN years ago, some jerk in FL tried to have a replacement card sent to their address. Hasnt happened since, but Comerica and Direct Express seem to think I should both be punished (forced to go to SSA) and be stolen from and left without access to funds for the weekend, at least, constitutes fair treatment and service for the disabled. This is insane. I then went to deal with the businesses behind the transactions in dispute and that took hours, accomplished nothing and now I have another $60 stolen from me and have to wait until Monday with my card blocked by Direct Express service, the transaction details removed from the system (I cant access the card info because the stupid foreigner on the phone declared the card lost WITHOUT SENDING A NEW ONE) and Im screwed for probably a week at least, with no money - and then somehow have to pay for a ride Monday to SSA just to report it and start the process over again.Worse yet is Ive gone to SSA before when told by Direct Express that I had to - they have NO IDEA WHAT DIRECT EXPRESS IS. It just creates more confusion and Im at my wits end and suicidal at the prospects of what I am forced to endure due to this inhumane incompetence and the blood will be on the hands of ************** Direct Express, the U.S. ******************* and the policies and lackluster service of the aforementioned three. I pray I survive this Sisyphean ordeal as I wait until Monday.

      This is seriously unbelievable. Im absolutely beside myself at how poorly run such an important and critical service is, and to be linked to the Treasury, SS - delivering funds to the elderly and disabled and allowing thieves to pilfer from them with zero empathy or help - they simply punish their own customers for the actions of criminals, who they not just enable but essentially aid and abet their actions against the elderly and disabled. Absolutely atrocious, ************* and Direct Express are heartless crooks

      Direct Express sent me a letter stating that my account had suspicious charges. They in turn froze my account. I called and closed the account. I called to have another card sent to me. Direct express asked me to send them my driver's license to prove my identity. I did and they said that my driver's license was rejected and I could not get a new card and because of that I will not get my 13 year old daughter's death benefits for the month of July. Social security cannot help me. I now have to file a police report and report the theft of me and my daughter's personal information that I gave to direct express over the phone. I still will not get my daughter's death benefits for the month of July and possibly August. I will also have to file a with the ******************* and request a hardship paper check so that we won't become homeless. I will also have to freeze my credit and file with the ftc. Please do not allow the *** to talk you into getting this card. This is who they are as a company and the US government knows this, has known this and does not care and renewed ************************** contract even though the complaints have been piling up for years. Please keep all your records.

      I got ripped ofc for $132 and filed a complaint with these idiots.I received a letter today telling me that they researched the situation and they were not going to pursue the situation any further.These capitalist pigs are horrible!!!

      For over 3 weeks now we've been unsuccessful with reporting fraud and requesting a new card. Direct Express has requested verification of ID and it was sent no less than 6 times. Each time they denied it for a different reason. We've provided a social security card, birth certificate and ID. They denied it again stating that Social Security would have to call them and verify. 3 weeks, countless phone calls, absurd wait times and rude associates are holding funds hostage.

      I had to literally shut my Direct Express account down that I was getting for SS. These people are the worst at customer service and I had my Identity Stolen from me through an internet scam and could not get a hold of Direct Express to save my life! ON HOLD FOR HOURS on the phone, or phone call completely dropped! so, I had to lock my SS profile with the Government and the only way to make changes to my SS is in person, at an office. ALL BECAUSE OF DIRECT EXPRESS INCOMPETENCE. Word of Advice? STAY AWAY from Direct Express. WORST. COMPANY. EVER.

      I hate it you can't get no information about how or when your card will come I been waiting for five months for my card they don't tell you nothing like you takin money from them unprofessional what is the purpose of them having a job when they don't do s*** but send you back to the customer service line to get no answers they serve no purpose when u have yo do Everything on your own still they should be shut down

      They very rude unhelpful disrespectful and unhelpful I asked to speak to the supervisor and they hang up the call had to call multiple times and was told differently info about my card!! They need to work on their **** attitudes!! Its a headache this **** bank comerica/direct express terrible bank and terrible costumer service!!!! UGh!!!! I had no issues but few days ago all over a sudden the issues started very weird so after providing that verification code he took off that suspension on my account before that when provide that verification code he asked what wrong with your account? or something like that I tried to explain I told that I was told to provide an identification to validate my account cause there seems to be two different names but they didnt ask my DOB but that third time when I called he did ask my dob ,ssn and full name he still didnt explain why was my account on suspicion and why couldnt access my account when I called the number back of that card (not online account) maybe it was because of the online account of something I dont know I still do not have an explanation I was told one things then another UGh!!!!! They couldnt be two different names this mess never happened before never had issues before!! Ugh!!!! I was not provided with an explanation I said it wasnt an online account it was the number back of the card he still didnt provided with explanation why and whats was going On which I have a right to know!
