      I called direct express as all my money disappeared on Nov. 4th 2024. They put money in my account. But over paid. On the 4th of Dec. they took out ******* for over payment. I agreed. Then today they also took out two of the disputed amounts again. I should have over ****** in my account. I am almost ***** overdrawn. Direct express is not a good company. I am on ss. My daughter is on ssi because of a massive stroke. I don't understand why they couldn't put a stop payment when I called. They said they had to let them get paid. So now it's December and I can't buy my daughter Christmas. I am very upset. This is how they treat old people? This is a disgrace

      My card was randomly locked for no reason. After three days of calling they tell me to send in my id. I did called back waited two and a half hours for an agent to answer and immediately hang up! Card is still locked and I have hills to pay! And this is going on for thousands of not millions of people. Ive just changed direct deposit however it still doesnt give me my money from this month sitting on this locked card! Them just settling for recent fraud charges makes so much sense now! Theyre funneling our money! Customer beware dont ever use this card company!!!

      Like so many people it's like it's impossible to contact anyone. For days now the online account a representative de activated my card by accident leaving me with nothing not even a ******* rent s going to past due today. I need to buy a heater badly so like no propane it's in the teens ******* bills are due barely have food to a point it's getting wearisome.Alla I need is so a representative to activate my card and I'm on hold 3 hours here 4 hours and 100 times I called nothing.Please understand I know so many need ********** bless them too.Just incredible how this is so difficult.

      Same as others my card is locked, customer service doesnt care and is unable to assist. ********** issue. Fixed income. Rents late now. They hang up after they say they are transferring you to a manager. They want to issue you a new card so they can charge you for it. This is a scam

      Horrible service! They rip off the most needy people. They took money from *** benefits and then after complaining they refunded 1 of the 11 charges they stole. Then they told me Im. Allowed 1 transaction free each month so I started doing just that and they still took the fee. When I called it was hard to get through .. after everlasting attempts and over an he holding someone picked up and when she saw what happened placed me back in hold with no warning! A very nasty greedy company and I advice not to use then!

      Cannot access my money online or through an atm. Need this asap to pay bills and to eat! Tried calling customer service multiple times in the past week for 1.5 hours at a time and no one ever picks up! I need this resolved asap!

      Same thing is happening to me as all the rest of the complaints. My card is locked for no reason that I know of. I've been calling for 2 days. They WILL NOT answer phone!!! I get disconnected or sit on hold for hours! It's the only card and money I have! Don't answer my with one of your computer generated answers about how my concern has been forwarded to the correct agency.....yea, right.

      Sat morning tried to us my card at *********** instantly locked my card have spent 4 days on hold with no one willing to even answer on the other end more than 20 hours on hold how are they getting away with this switch immediately if u can they can do what ever they want with no consequences! think there need to be a class action lawsuit against direct express! Definitely enough people they intentionally harmed! Had to leave a star they don't deserve!

      HORRIBLE! Had this card for over 15yrs, moved out of state and ordered a new card to my new address through my app. Next day, locked out of my app, have not received my expedited card, my ssdi loads tonight, have no groceries, gas and cannot pay my bills. For 4 days have been calling customer service, stay on hold for 2.5 hours and the call just disconnects. This is HORRIBLE. SENIOR CITIZENS AND DISABLED PEOPLE NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS MESS CALLED DIRECT EXPRESS! I am not going to STOP and will STAND UP for the people that are being raped of their funds via this JUNK CARD. Shame on *** for allowing this card to still be used. ANSWER THE PHONE, STOP STEALING PEOPLES FUNDS.
