      Bunch of scammers. They did an inital consultation and went back to **** and said it was covered. Now I get a bill for extra *****.

      Qmerit coordinated the installation of a home level 2 charging unit for us after we purchased a 2025 **** Mustang Mach e GT (amazing vehicle BTW). We were given the charging unit by the dealership. Q merit contacted us within a week and arranged for North Shore Electric to evaluate our site. The installation with then completed within a week. Qmerit's online system was extremely easy and efficient. They contacted us often with process updates. The installation was very clean and efficient. **** and Qmerit kept their promise to facilitate our charging at home.

      Worked with Qmerit to secure a quote and they identified ************** electrical (************, **) in my area. Allegedly Qmerit is a BBB certified company, but we have recently found that to be a "red *******." ************** started the work and proceeds to drill holes in the walls of my finished basement without asking ahead of time. Once the work was completed the installer tells me that Qmerit will replace the walls/fix damages. Well, when I contacted Qmerit, the ** guy at Qmerit immediately hides behind the quote, never ask what my initial problem was and then refuses to fix the damages. Really low-class operation that all EV customers should avoid. Both ********************** and ************** Electrical refuse to stand behind their work nor provide quality installation services. Damages to dry wall should be both Qmerit and the subcontractor's responsibility to fix. However, that concept apparently isn't in the ethos of either company, so beware. Never work with contractors that clarify the process upfront, don't provide quality work and don't guarantee to fix what they break in your home. Neither Qmerit nor ******************* are quality partners in EV installation or electrical work. Stay away from them both.

Prior to this, you received and approved a detailed proposal on March 20th, which clearly statedboth in the scope of work and again in the termsthat drywall damage could occur as a result of the drywall penetration for wiring purposes, and that drywall repair was not included in the installation quote.We understand that construction in finished spaces can be frustrating, especially when unexpected outcomes arise. However, transparency is a priority in our quoting process, which is why this information was disclosed in multiple sections of your quote and the terms of the proposal provided by your licensed installer explicitly excluded wall repair.Qmerit takes pride in our network of certified, highly rated professionals across the country and the level and quality of work our network provides, and we regret that this experience did not meet your expectations.
