    On 10/24/2023 my vehicle failed to start at a ****** parking lot due to a malfunctioning interlock device provided by ********************. I was required for 1 year to have an interlock device in my car to prevent me from driving if there was alcohol in my blood.The reason my vehicle would not start was not because I had alcohol in my blood (I hadnt drank for over a year by then); it was due to low cost interlocks defective interlock device I was paying monthly for. This information was given to me by the customer support agent specialist. I called for Low Cost Interlock and she informed me that the readings this device (every time I blew into the device ******************** is supposed to record the readings) was showing is from 2018 (5 years ago.)The agent, then assisted me in finding a towing company and assured me that I would be reimbursed for the towing expenses given that I was not at any fault here. The towing company charged me 250 to tow my car from ****** to the auto mechanic shop that installed and calibrated the interlock device for ******************** (see attachment)What followed after was a horrendous time for me as I could not drive my car for over two weeks; low cost interlock informed the mechanic and I that a working unit would be shipped overnight. I was still required to get my blood alcohol content checked before I drove at the time so I couldnt operate a vehicle without having this in my car. It took over two weeks for this company to deliver a properly working unit. From November 2022 to current day (March 21,2024) Ive been trying to get a hold of Low cost interlock to get my $250 reimbursement back. ive exhausted all options, submitted a form via their website, spent over 30 total hours (All recorded on my call log) on hold and transferred to just being hung up on after staying on hold for hours. Please help me. I urgently need the reimbursement for the towing expenses ($250) that was promised by the low cost interlock employee.

    was court ordered to have an interlock placed in my vehicle. ive done the time required by the courts to have it in my vehicle. i called the company to schedule my removal i payed the 110$ removal fee issued by the company, and was told that theyd have to email my state dmv to make sure i was approved for removal and stated i must call back once i received the email. i got the email and called back they stated that my interlock didnt record any of my data and that my time is not applicable, they stated theyd contact the compliance **** and call back within two business days, i called back today and was told that the compliance **** said my time still doesnt count. well i am already state approved according to low cost interlock to have my breathalyzer removed the private company is telling me ill face legal issues with getting my drivers license back if i get it removed without their permission. i have payed their fee to remove it and been state approved their is no reason i should still be waiting for the removal. i was also accused of not having my interlock serviced for 4 months. which is false. ive had trouble with this company in the past and want nothing more than to be able to remove my interlock and not do anymore business with them.

    I had their interlock in my car 3 days. The device was impossible for me to blow into. I just want deposit money back!! I had cancelled with this company. Was not supposed to be their device

    Ive scheduled things through the company to get transfers to get calibrations. Theyve took money off my bank card for transfers and didnt tell the shop to do the transfer anything about it they dont get back to my calls. Im now noncompliant because I havent been able to speak to an actual person through their company, the interlock device is stuck in my car that is broke down so I havent been able to drive because I havent been able to put it in my car. Theyre still taking money off my card monthly, but I have yet to get a hold of anybody except a answering machine or a robot its court ordered for me to have the interlock and now I am considered noncompliant for not getting it recalibrated because they have failed to contact the shop that does it in ********* so its taking affect on my court order and what Im supposed to be doing to finish the court order because theyre being noncompliant and not getting not returning my calls not answering basically not doing their job

    I encourage just short of $1500 in expensive because of faulty equipment in my vehicle which they were supposedly going to reimburse me in about 30 days. All correct information and receipts and report was submitted December 5th I am still waiting to so much even hear back from them and calling them is just out of the question you're on hold for hours or your transfer to another department.

    On July 27th,2023 I was traveling and had stopped at a rest area to let my dogs out. When I returned to my truck it would not start. I called Low Cost and they had me do a bunch of procedures to try and start vehicle to no avail. The lady told me I would have to get vehicle towed to nearest service center. After 5 hours tow company finally shows up and takes me to service center($112.50) When I finally arrived at service center they diagnosed my truck and said I had a bad blocker, the breathalyzer was only a couple months old at that point. The service center did not have a blocker and had to overnight it to install next day. I would have to spend the night in a hotel($132.65) as I was over an hour away from home.I contacted them many times and was told they would look into it, it wasn't until I posted something on Trustpilot in November of 2023 that I finally got a response after numerous times on the phone with no call back or any response. ***************************** told me she would work on and that I would receive my reimbursement and that was early part of January 2024. Here it is February 21 2024 and still have not received and also my emails with ******** go unanswered.

    I previously filed a complaint with the BBB about this issue. I was contacted by the business and told I would be sent a check for $250, which was less Than I had to pay on towing charges and Ubers that I had to take when their product was faulty. It has been over a month and I have yet to receive anything. I have tried to email *******************************, the person who contacted me and told me I would be sent a check, with no response.

    Ive had the interlock installed since October and I am still waiting for the company to send an interlock certification to the ************ department of motor vehicle. Ive called this company, numerous amounts of time with whole times longer then With still no resolution, so I am paying for a service that has still not restored my driver privileges due to missing information not submitted in the the companys behalf. I am begging you to help resolve this complaint so I can get driving again since i have been paying for the services for the last 5 months. Please just do your job.

    I paid $175 to have my interlock device removed on 1/10/2024, however, LCI has failed to respond with an appointment to have their equipment removed. I have to call daily/weekly for override codes. They are out of compliance with the statement monitoring authority. I have finished by program and 90 day letter was mailed to Oregan DMV. LCI has changed me an extra month due to the delay as well. I'd like my money back and this box removed ASAP.

    I was mandated by the ********************* to have a 1-year interlock installed on my vehicle. Several weeks ago they had sent over the paperwork for getting the device removed and for me to regain an unrestricted license. I have tried numerous times via phone and email to get Low Cost to send over the compliance letter so I may proceed with ******* in getting my license back. The company continually ignores all my requests. Trying to call to get a removal request leads to a robot operator telling you that you will be placed in a "queue" and called back once you're next. It has been several days and I still haven't heard back. Calling once per day. I believe this queue doesn't even exist. They will continue to charge me for having the device on a monthly fee they charge. This company is manipulative and exploitative and frankly needs to be investigated as to why they provide minimal to zero customer service and enjoy playing with people's lives.

    To give additional information since the filed complaint. Low cost had finally called me from the removal department. However, the two times they did (which was a whole day after I was put into "queue" was when I was at my work inside our freezer where there is no service. They simply state to call back to proceed. Unfortunately, you cannot not get a direct call back. They intentionally seem to make it challenge to proceed with anything. I have tried to call back several times to no avail other than being put back in their "queue." Currently, I have been waiting for a call back yet again since 2-8-24 and have not received any information since.
