      I'll give FirstService Residential the benefit of the doubt because they get by with the bare minimum effort to fulfill their contractural obligation. Other than that they fail in all other obligations especially customer service. This is what the low bid for property management gets you.

      I live in a community in *************, *************. I have repeatedly been ignored and told safety of children in the neighborhood is not important to the **** The speeding is from their workers, not residents. I selected this community because it had an **** This has been my worst experience with an HOA by far. They are only interested in making money off of residents, a lot of money, and not taking resident concerns seriously or even attempting to address them. If I had the money I would move. But luckily for them I don't so they get to keep robbing me of my hard-earned money while doing nothing for it. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

      Extremely Disappointed with FirstService I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with FirstService has been frustrating enough that I felt compelled to share. If I could leave anything less than 1 star I will. Unreachable They never pick up the phone. Reaching someone for basic concerns or questions is next to impossible.Exorbitant Fees with No Return Were being charged a high HOA fee, yet there's little to no evidence of the services we're supposedly paying for.Neglected Landscaping They claim to provide mowing and **** trimming for front lawns as part of the yearly service. This has never been done. Im paying for services that are not being delivered.Unsafe Road Conditions Theres ongoing construction in the area, and the roads are never cleaned. Debris is constantly left behind. I've had to replace my tires six times in one year due to nails and sharp objects left on the roads.This level of negligence is unacceptable for a company managing communities and charging residents significant fees. I sincerely hope FirstService takes these issues seriously and makes immediate improvements, but until then, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

      Get warning notices for trash cans being out on trash day. $180 certified mail fee tacked on to *** ****. Was Told the board makes up these fees however and whenever and thats that. If this company runs your HOA, stay away.

      Worst residential company I have ever encountered. They have sent me three violations for the same thing over the past five years without checking their documentation prior to sending it. We were approved over 20 years ago and at the present time we have no desire to change our painting on our door or shutters to anything else as the previous paint job has a 25-year warranty. We tried for two days to reach them, and their phone system did not work at all leaving me stranded and frustrated. I am disabled completely and have a chronic pain challenge which is bad enough to cause me to pass out from pain and I usually fall forward and then I stop Breathing. If no one is there to turn me over in about four to five minutes I will die. I was so upset having to deal with this a third time that it caused me a pain overload and I pass-out in my own home and nearly died as I stopped breathing. If my service dog was not there I would have died. Unfortunately, he was not able to turn me over in the four minutes range and I may have suffered some brain damage as a result. This company should not be in business, I have already reported it to the Board of Directors for *********** Homeowner association. I am considering filing a lawsuit against both of them. Bad actions do yield bad consequences, and they should have looked before sending something like this.

      What a joke of a company. I got a violation today for a grill being in front of my house, which I dont own a grill, and the photo isnt even of my house or street. Are yall so incompetent that you cant understand street signs? The amount we pay this company and s*** is still not taken care of (broken sidewalks, lamp post that dont work etc) and this is the thing yall are worried about and sending out to the WRONG F****** PERSON.

      If I could rate them a 0, I would. This is by far, the worst management company I have ever encountered. They were hired to manage our HOA by the developer and they have FAILED our community. After community manager turnover and no responses for months, we received a new community manager who began assessing fines at the wrong amount immediately. Now, the community manager is impossible to get ahold of. The mismanaged our social committee funds, left vendors unpaid, and wasted our monies on landscaping that is dead. Our dog waste bins are always out of bags. We have yet to have our annual meeting. I could go on and on about how bad this business is. I have called the Dallas office, requesting to speak to management and never got a call back. Called headquarters requesting to speak to management and got a helpdesk email in response. Worst company ever.

      Ive been waiting for over a MONTH to resolve two issues to no avail. The community manager remains unresponsive despite my numerous attempts to contact her. Ive also sent multiple messages thru the FirstService resident portal only to be told my issues have been escalated to our regional manager including the directors. Again, CRICKETS. They pacify you with their statements but never take action to remedy issues. FS is a worthless management company and Im advocating with our board and community to change management companies.

      Fees charged for paying your bill thru auto pay. Submitting payment requests to banking institutions using only last four digits of bank account number, charging $25 late fee for returned item to the customer. HOA cosign this practice, billing home owner for the returned item and threatens additional charges if fees/returned item is not paid.Proof of the submission for payment and return is requested but never provided.

      I have been calling for 2 years plus about our mail boxes and how they need repair. Ive been emailing ***** ****** for months, May of this year to be exact because I was told she was in charge of the issue with the mailboxes. At first she tried to convince me it was the responsibility of the post office when in fact its the responsibility of the **** ************* residential offers poor excuses as to why we cannot get our mail boxes repaired or replaced. residents are forced to wait in lines at the post office for hours at a time just to get mail. I haven't been able to receive my medication at home in well over a year because the post office refuses to deliver the mail. After regular emails back and forth with ***** ******, her knowing the details as to which mailbox, the addresses to which they serve and what street it is located she is now saying that they do not service that street when in fact they do? She is saying its someone else at ************* residential that deals with it. The worse part is you cannot get a call back from this office ever, getting an email back is like pulling teeth.
