      Santander is a horrible insurance company. Ive been trying to get my refund for over 6 years. They keep saying g a check was mailed, but nothing ever comes. All the company does is send emails to one another and whoever answers the phone just reads those emails and sends another one. I hate this company. My family did not have a Christmas this year because I believed them again

      A absolutely terrible company. We closed out our account in October, 2024 and twice they charged us in November, of which we called and refunded our money back into our bank account and PROMISED it wouldn't happen again. Yet again in December they charged us once again for payment of a vehicle we didn't own. So, we spend over 2 hours on the phone, of which the customer service line was in some sort of loop and kept repeating the same options to connect us with a service agent. After numerous attempts and we got though to an agent who had to transfer us to an "executive" in ******* to try and resolve this issue. This executive promised they would follow-up by 5:00pm that day (we were on the phone for over 2 hours) to let us know the funds would be returned to our bank. Nope, no phone call back. We then called back today (12/20/24) and went though this god-orful phone loop for over 20 minutes, then discussed again with an agent, who couldn't help us, so he transferred us to yet another executive. They still needed proof from the bank that money was withdrawn from out account, so we had to call the bank yet again and have the agent verify that funds were taken out. Mind you, we faxed over a bank statement the day before showing that Santander took out fund (fraudulently) from our bank, but that still wasn't good enough, thus had to have the bank agent speak directly with the santander agent to confirm. This company is awful and will not ever deal with them again. If we have to finance another vehicle, home loan, emergency funds, etc., and find out Santander is the creditor.....NO WAY. Please be aware of this company.

      Unresponsive, incredibly long phone hold times, unbelievably slow to act/will not act unless you call multiple times. I have a total loss **** that was leased. The loss occurred on 8/17/2024. Santander has been completely unresponsive to requests from the at fault individual's insurance. Claim still not settled, still making lease payments four months later, still no end in sight. Absolutely unacceptable.

      This is about this BBB site. I'm confused. By all of the reviews about Santander Consumer on this site, all negative, how does this company receive an A- review from you the BBB? I ask because I came here to file my own Santander complaint. I see that on this site my complaint will amount to nothing. Is this a legitimate BBB site?

      As a Disabled Combat Veteran Im shocked that I was treated like this. Ive been dealing with a very big issue with Chrysler Capital regarding my Jeep. I voluntarily surrendered my Jeep back in Aug 10 2020 during COVID. Chrysler Capital hired a tow service to drive out to where my Jeep was located to pick it up(****************************). I have text and a voicemail from the tow company; ***** ******* with ************* towing. Ive been in contact with Chrysler capital ever since they picked it up and in 2021 they told me they still never received my Jeep even though the tow company they hired to get it were the ones who last had possession of the Jeep. Now I have a collection balance on my credit for ********* and they refuse to remove it and put blame on the tow service. Im not responsible for that **** once it left my possession and the tow service acquired possession. Ive not been able to get my government clearance because of this issue and Ive not been able to be approved for any loans. I have voice recordings of Chrysler Capital/ Loan holder Santander consumer agents saying they have possession of the Jeep (Attached Thumb drive in envelope with voice recording. 51:40 they admit to having jeep in an impound yard) and then others saying they dont have it so the company is trying to cover up their mistake and pin this on me which is absolutely absurd. I would like it removed from my credit report as soon as possible.

      Santander is money hungry company that made over $22000 on a $24,000 car in interest so I ended up paying 47000$ on a **************************************** definitely find a better company

      Worst loan company i have ever went through for a car loan they are trying to say I missed 4 payments and it's not true they have completed destroyed my credit because of this false information! I will never EVER go through this company again it's sickening and don't even get me started on the hidden fees that add up to another payment in itself just can't believe places get away with this kind of c***

      I tried to make an extra payment on my loan for principal only, I was told by their representative that they don't do principal only payments. This company is garbage.

      I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service experience I have had with Chrysler Credit, particularly regarding incorrect information and the lack of follow-up.Several weeks ago, I contacted customer service to inquire about returning my leased vehicle early. I was advised I could do so after October 19th by paying the remaining lease installments without penalty. However, I later discovered this information was incorrect, which created financial inconvenience. When I raised the issue, the representative confirmed that my call had been recorded, acknowledged the error, and escalated the matter to you. I was assured I would receive follow-up communication, but six weeks have passed without a response.Adding to my frustration, on 11/19, I received a voicemail from **** ****** requesting a callback. When I returned the call, I was informed the number was being decommissioned. I left a message but received no response. When I attempted to call again, the number was out of service.This situation has caused unnecessary stress and confusion. I believe it could be resolved by allowing me to return the vehicle early, as I was initially advised. I am willing to pay the remaining installments, ensuring no financial impact to Chrysler Credit. I do not understand why there has been no effort to address this issue, despite the acknowledgment of misinformation.

      Extremely rigid and restrictive with their lease terms. I signed a lease for a ***** after having leased one prior, which was with Tesla Finance. With other finance companies (Tesla Finance included) you are at least able to transfer your lease to another person with excellent credit, while with Santander that option is not available.I understand charging additional fees and the remaining payments to break a contract early, but the inability to buy a Tesla out coupled with the inability to transfer the lease to another person makes it impossible for you to get out of the lease, without paying it off.The website is also horrible and has caused me to make late payments due to it's lack of UI.I will never again lease or purchase a car that utilizes Santander as a financing company. I suggest you do the same.
