      Santander is giving me a run around about my lien release form.

      They stole my cashier check. They refused to return the check so that I could get my money back. Who holds on to checks? I offered to send them proof that it was mine and they said I would have to mail it because they do not have an email address. Theft. They tried hard to not help with any solution that could help us both.

      Avoid getting a loan from them at all costs. If anyone is looking to buy a vehicle make sure that you do not use Santander ***. They act wonderful until you payoff your loan and try and get your title. They come up with charges and fees that you knew nothing about totaling ****** dollars that has to be paid before they will give you a lien release. I have been in contact with them on several different occasions and every time I get a different time frame it will be before I receive my lien release. Right now its been 25 days and counting.

      My payment was returned never notified experienced hardship Novembers car repossessed never received notice to cure. Talk with customer service numerous times they never mentioned notice to cure and advised me they couldnt accept any payment unless it was due to Covid ??!!! Not given much information and now required to pay loan in full although I was never notified of any of these things.

      Be aware this company does not have the option to pay anything towards the principal. So any interest has to be completely paid off with the loan worse auto loan organization to have..

      Call my phone all the time. They have the wrong number and I have asked repeatedly for them to put me on the do NOT call list. They call , I say,hello, they linger on the phone in silence with background noise , yet never speak. Weird, annoying, rude, or connection issues either way, 1 star , who the heck are you guys? I dont know you nor do I conduct business with you.

      My bank account got hacked and my car payment didnt go through for November and now I have a late payment on my account this company is horrible. Trying to buy a house know my credit is ruined, I did everything to catch up with my payment and I communicated with Sandander and they told me my late payment wouldnt go to collections.

      October 2024 I surrendered my vehicle to Chrysler capital in good faith. This company in my opinion took advantage of a consumer with over-the-top interest rate on a high mileage vehicle. When the vehicle was sold in auction, this company passed the vehicle along for a mirror $1800! I am now on the hook for over $11,000 on a 2017 ********** Passat. This is unacceptable

      DO NOT EVER GET AN AUTO LOAN WITH SANTANDER! They are the worst and they should be shut down! They don't ever work with you if you ever in a financial bind. No letters of Notice of Right to Cure. Very rude customer service and a greedy company! Someone needs to file a another lawsuit against them and car dealerships needs to quit using them! This is by far the WORST auto loan company ever! I have had anxiety attacks ever since I had them! Please shut them down!

      If I could rate them less than one star, I would. The website I used to make monthly payments on my auto loan, switched to a third party that automatically moved you to a different website. This third party website was very user UNFRIENDLY. We had to enter our banking information over and over. Then, somehow, they were trying to take the payment from a different part of the account that had nothing to do with the banking info we entered several times. This ultimately made it impossible to make a payment and subsequently made me over drawn in the account they were trying to take money out of. This caused my bank to hit me with ******************* fees. When I called this auto loan company, they said they could not help me and I would need to call the third party that I was trying to now make payments through. This third party did not have a way to contact anyone and stated on their website that the consumer would need to call the loan originator. I finally got someone to help me cancel the payment they were erroneously trying to take from the account that had no money in it. They also said that I needed to move money to that account in case the new payment was going to come out of that account. Long story short, they took two payments and left us in a financial bind. Couldnt get my money back. Refinanced our vehicle and will never do business with them again.
