I bought tickets to a comedy show and I dont know why I didnt buy directly. The direct prices total is $61 and they charged me $160 total! Beware of their outrageous prices. Never using them again!

Much like others have stated, we did not know we were purchasing from a third party seller. We went directly to the venue website. There was a category for GA and one for Lawn. Lawn costs more but we wanted to sit so we choose this option. When our tickets came in they were for GA. When I called them they stated that there was no Lawn area, when I inquired why they would have that as an option if it was not one, they couldn't answer me. They just kept saying the prices were competitive. We are disputing with our *********** This was supposed to be our anniversary night concert and they have ruined it for us.

Purchased tickets for Train/REO Speedwagon for 9/11/2024. Received an email from TicketMaster that REO was cancelled due to an illness, and offering to refund the tickets (you had a choice to attend the show even though 1/2 of the acts cancelled, or to request the refund). Called them, they sent me back to TicketSales.com.After several calls and being put on hold and asked to send in the email from TicketMaster they declined to refund the tickets "because the event is still happening". I said 1/2 the event is happening, and the venue itself understands this is not what people purchased tickets to see so are offering refunds because they care about the customer. They said no refund and that's it. Couldn't care less about customer service.

I was under the impression that I was on the *************************** website and just assumed that I was redirected from their site during purchase because it looked exactly like the site that I have used before I thought the service charge to look a little odd but I went with it because different events different things make sense. I am only notified after the fact that this is a third party website you are not guaranteed to sit together with the amount of people that you purchase tickets for and that you have to wait until 2 days before to receive your tickets and this event is in April it is currently September that is 6 months away. If anything happens with those tickets we are not guaranteed. I had not even had the transaction confirmed for 10 minutes before I called them and they refused to issue my money back. I have started a claim with my bank and I'm just praying that some way somehow I get the money back but I implore anyone not to use this site

These people are scam artists. They add fees and end up costing you 4 times the ticket price that you would pay if you went and purchased it from the venue directly. Do not trust them!

I cannot believe this company is in business. When I searched for the venue I was looking for in my area their website comes up first which in hind sight just means they've spent a lot on optimizing their website. No mention anywhere that they are a 3rd party seller. They give you the ticket prices and then take you to checkout. At no point in time during the check out process do they itemize and show you the extra charges you will get. How is this even legal? I got a notification when my credit card got processed and the amount was way more than it should have been. I called immediately but you talk to a representative that just gives you the run around. If you are reading this you've probably just overpaid for tickets like the rest of us and got scammed too. Sorry.

My minor child made an unauthorized charge on my card. I contacted the company to cancel the charge and they refused siting that my minor agreed to the T&C. A minor cannot be held to any contract as they are not considered capable of consent. I now have to wait over a week to dispute the charge with my bank.

I see that many, many people have experienced the same rip off that I experienced. The situation is that there is no way to check on this transaction because the deal is over before you even realize what happened. Every complaint here tells the same story, that the site is sneaked in, masquerades as the site that you are logged into. The extra fees are not listed when you make the purchase. AFTER the fact, you get a confirmation email with obscene amounts of FEES. Certainly, there is something that can be done about this. My purchase of two $12 tickets turned into $70.52. That is highway robbery, and it should be stopped. Put this outfit out of business for the good of the people.

My complaint is based solely on the price charged by TicketSales.com ... that was MUCH HIGHER than prices charged by others. I am 80-years-old ... and not very good with technology. I purchased one ticket through TicketSales.com for ****** ****** show @ **************, in *********, for $116.15 ... only to find out that the box office price was $46.94. Their $69.21 mark up was USURIOUS! I did E-mail TicketSales.com ... with no reply. TicketSales.com takes advantage of those that are not computer savvy ... like this 80-year-old!
