      Needed to cancel and get refunds for money orders that I purchased. MoneyGram refunded part of it. When I checked the status of the rest of the refund on line it was showing that everything was complete. Went to the place I originally bought them and there was nothing they could do. Told me to deal with MoneyGram. This was months ago and I still havent received my money. Neither MoneyGram customer service nor the place I bought them seem to know where my money went. Same thing happened with ************* but they right away refunded everything and made sure I was taken care of. Dont ever deal with MoneyGram

      The WORST company Please don't use MoneyGram at all.In *********** I tried to cash out my money but the computer froze and after restarting said you collected your money the customer service gave me the case number and told me I should wait 2 to 3 weeks for no reason

      I have had money gram for years and 3 weeks ago I sent money to purchase a product in which i did not receive. I called money gram so they can know that the person is a scammer, after the complaint i was not able to send money to my family, furthermore they closed my account without warning I called customer service to ask what happen, i was told based on my activities they closed my account. I told them that this is discrimination and that would mean anyone who is bold enough to make a complaint gets punished even when they are the victim. I was told i can no longer use their services by the representative and she cut me off when i told her that the actions of money gram against me is discrimination and that this is intimidation saying don't complain and we will not close your ****************************** needs to have better policy. This is will not stop until i get a proper explanation of the treatment that I received.

      The WORST company. I issued a stop payment on a money order as soon as I became aware it was lost. When I checked the status of the money order I saw that it was still uncashed and available to be refunded. 5 days later I got an email saying my money order was cashed and my case was closed. I payed extra for the cancellation process to be expedited and they still refused to claim responsibility. Why have a cancellation process if you're not going to cancel! Horrible customer service, scammers!

      MoneyGram is now a *************** and they think everything is Fraudulent even when it is not. So do your self a favor and find a different company to work with. They cant help you in anyway if you are trying to help your family.

      Absolutely the worst transfer provider, sticking with western union all the way! No reason for MG to ask bank info when I'm sending money for someone else to pick up from another location! Scam! Do not use them! Western union will NEVER ask for bank info and you get money same day same hour and picking it ** in person at location and that's how my friends international transfer works.

      They canceled my transaction saying I sent it to a risky destination. I was sending it to a stranded family member I was well aware of where I was sending my money. To make matters worse they would not just resend the transaction once I let them know I knew where I was sending it, I was then told they will refund the money in 10 days! I didnt have any more extra money to send her to get out of her situation and she was put on the streets. My cousin and her daughter have to sleep in the park because they decided the area was unsafe for me to send the money. But it was my money!! What right do they have to cancel and then cant refund for **************************************************************************************** it was nothing he could do. No one offered me a solution I was only told Id get my ********************** back after 10 days. I didnt want the money back I wanted them to send the money so my family would not be on the street.

      my fiance and i was trying to receive money from family, and because my fiance did not have the information of someone trying to send money but did not go thru, they banned his account. they said that they was the supervisor and they couldnt verify his information and that he would never be able to use moneygram again. i went to do my account, and they deleted my account but when i went to live chat they reactivated my account but said my account is under review and could not give me any information as to why it was under review as it is supposed to protect the integrity of their security. After i said about about talking to my lawyer they said they was going to escalate this problem. they continued to lock out my account to where i would have to go to the store to send or receive any money from family. i have never had this problem before now with my account.

      To those who will read this review: IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!I bought a money order on 7/14/23 and mailed it out to progressive in ************ ** that same day (mind you I reside in ******* **). After 2 weeks of my money order remaining uncashed and reaching out to represenatives, they were not able to track the money order and it was still not received. Even progressive had not seen nor processed the money order and had no way to track it. I requested a replacement 7/29 and they submitted and approved the request 7/31. I was told a replacement would be sent within 2 business days "provided my money order remained uncashed" It was cashed by progressive and applied to my account. Now today 8/10 I received a notification from progressive stating there was a "problem with my account" and they could not apply the funds and now I owe on my insurance. In their replacement request it said a new one would be sent provided my original money order remains uncashed. It was cashed by progressive nearly in the same timeframe I has requested a repalcment after a month of dealing with moneygram. It is 8/10 and I STILL have not received the replacement money order and now the money order that was cashed by progressive was returned and now I owe on my account and AM OUT MY **********************. I AM PISSED! I had paid a 25$ processing fee that was to be taken out of my replacement money order and was only getting $94 and now moneygram has scammed me of that money?!I reached out to an online chat represenative and was told that the refund would be coming back via a "wired transfer" which WAS NEVER STATED on the claims page for my claim The online chat associate i spoke to said i would receive the 8 digit wired transfer code number 8/11 to pick up my money in cash via a money gram store? I bet I STILL WONT receive the code tomorrow. I will NEVER be using moneygram again. BEWARE OF THEIR FAKE POLICIES AND WIRED TRANSFERS AS THEY DO NOT REPLACE MONEY ORDERS!

      I had a moneygram account for a long times. I used my account and not sharing it anyone else and my account was closed. No communication from Moneygram, no questions, no email, no phone call, nothing, they just closed my account without telling me what the issues are. I call moneyGram to figure out what the issues is but no one tells me anything. The last transfer I attempted was on July 14 2023 to send $250 to my little cousin in ****** who asked me for help to pay her basic need but the transfer was canceled and No one said why.So, I called MoneyGram number provided, to find out what is going on but no one tell me anything despite I spoke with the Supervisor who identified herself as ****. I told the agent first and the supervisor my account is locked. I do not know why my account is locked but I still get not information. No one give me any information. There is help on moneygram website, It is a way to make costumers waste their times.
