1 starI purchased a car in the online auction without inspecting it since I live out of state. I knew the car had a lot of damages by looking at the pictures so I was not expecting to drive the car without major repairs. I bought the car based on the description. According to the description the car was automatic but to my surprise it was manual which I notice only when I received the car since there were no pictures to indicate that the car was manual. I do not drive manual and are not interested in learning to driving a manual car. Since according to the description the car has only 94K miles my plan was to rebuilt the existing transmission. Now I have to solutions: sell the car and try to recoperate some of the money or buy an automatic transmission. The later solution will cost me more than what I plan to expend. I contacted Copart and this is the anwer from the general manager: "The descriptions given on our website are for reference only and not guaranteed. We do not guarantee the transmission types and are unable to issue a refund or discount. " If Copart cannot guarantee the transmission type then they should not include this information when describing the vehicles. The general manager (or regional manager) never acknowledge they made a mistake.Review fromTony B

Copart accounting department suspended my account, stating my account was linked with 4 others accounts (members of my family who has their own account numbers) they stated since we shared the same address, they are suspending my account until family members pay fees. My account has no fees. ***************************** hung the phone ** in my face stated we no longer want your business l been with Copart since 2015, l have accused of fraud by Copart, every time Copart makes mistakes, they just say were sorry, if we make a mistake, FEES AND SUSPENSION. Make it make sense!!!Copart, Inc.

This company has been harassing my husband and I for weeks to get me to release my car to them. The car has not been totaled and has already been released to the shop that will be doing the work and yet they keep calling. At first they were only contacting my husband who cant release the car anyways as its not in his name, and even tried telling him it was okay because his name is also on the insurance policy. I then tried calling them back from the 2 minute voice mail they left me and was left on hold for 20 minutes. They want me to release and entrust a $25k piece of equipment to people who cant bother answering a call? Bad business ethics. Bad business practices.Copart, Inc.

They lie about the conditions of the vehicles they auction. They are crooked. Save your money, time and energy. A "few dents and scratches"? Try a whole new engine! I'm sure they'll come over here and pretend they aren't liable. It's sad the way they do people, I wish I would have come here first!!!Copart, Inc.

My complaint is with the copart at ***********************************************************************. Which does not show up on the BBB's website. They have made it very difficult to pick up a lot that I have won on there online auction. After I won the lot I paid the amount owed and downloaded there copart transport app and made appointment to pick up the lot on Monday July 24th. Monday morning they sent me a text saying that my appointment is cancelled due to my account being suspended. I called the company and they said that all I have to do is bring in my license to the ********************** lot and they will unsuspend my account. I get there and they unsuspend my account but come to find out they also suspended my payment which now has to be under review before they will except my payment. I offered to pay in cash but they told me they do not except cash payments over $400. I offered to go to a local gas station and buy money orders totalling the amount I owed. They said they would except the payment in money orders but didn't mentioned that they would close soon. I leave and come back and there closed. All in all my experience with copart has been extremely poor I would not recommend anyone that I know to do any business with them. This is a horribly unhelpful company and I wish I could give a better review.Copart, Inc.

I bought 18 cars from them over the years and this last one was listed as run and drive but it did not run and drive. I want the $600 relisting fee cancelled. This is false advertising. Member number ****** Lot number ********Copart, Inc.

Our sales team further confirmed you acknowledging the purchase of this vehicle during a phone conversation. The vehicle was relisted due to non payment. All member fees are outlined in the Member ****************** which you signed upon becoming a member. The worst place to buy salvage . We have been a customer for many years the last few months have been terrible. My trucks have to wait hours to be loaded. There is absolutely no customer service no one cares there! You don't matter even though we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with this company. I urge you to do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. . Our last issue was when we bought a high dollar truck that was listed as a run and drive . When we got it back to our facility the computers have been stripped out of it... they don't care so I'm Taking my money elsewhere. Don't deal with these people under any circumstances. You have been warned. A one is to high of a review they deserve a minus 10 in my humble opinionCopart, Inc.

I went to Copart Dallas south to view a salvage titled vehicle online auction. As a member I can go look, if I have someone with me were charged $25 for each extra person.The vehicle had a reserve witch I was out bid but the high bid did not meet the reserve so it said at end. They dont show how many other people are bidding against you and or the times they bid. I get a email stating the vehicle will go back on auction but if I wanted to start a bid at the last highest bid witch was significantly higher then my highest bid but the number they gave me was much higher than the closing bid online. I know many auctions are scams that have people pushing up prices but I think Copart takes the cake!Copart, Inc.

I would give less than a star if possible. Towing took over 3 weeks and we get the car and it doesnt even run. It was advertised as runs the only thing was minor dents and scratches. These people are liars and money hungry. I would never do business with them again.Copart, Inc.
