I used my credit card to pay for a camp in 2022 via this platform. My c/c was charged for a useless yearly membership since then. I did not agree to it, nor did I get any warning emails about the upcoming charges. I am requesting a refund for the yearly illegal charges since 2022.Business Response

I was charged $99.95 on 6/6/2025 for a membership with this company which apparently happened while I was signing up for the Rocky Run race in ************. I did not intend to enroll in any annual subscription with this company. There are many other such cases from what Ive seen online. This company engages in deceptive practices to unwittingly get people to subscribe to their service and is a fraudulent enterprise.Business Response

Signed up for a 5k race and nothing else. Somehow Active Advantage used my card number without my consent in the amount of $99.95 and they signed me up for a reoccurring subscription service that I never wanted or signed up for. The day it was withdrawn from my bank I emailed them to cancel whatever service this was and told them I didnt sign up for it. They have yet to return my email or money.Business Response

On 06/03/2025 I received a $99.95 charge on my debit card from a company I had never heard of before. The charge was for Active Advantage subscription services from the company Active Network, LLC. Upon looking up the company name, I found that they receive many complaints for covertly signing people up for their free trial while people are trying to by something else online. I believe this charge resulted from when I signed up for an athletic event. This company continues to remain in business despite the endless complaints and consumers rejecting the the companys deceitful attempt to make it look like they are resolving the issue. Along with the charge, I have no other charges, and I have never used their services, had no idea I had them, and cant even cancel my subscription with them. I have tried signing into their website to access an account under my email and no account exists. I attempted to email them with no actual response. I demand a full refund in the amount of $99.95. The card used has been canceled so no further charges may be incurred from this scam company.Business Response
