Just like the other people posting here, Active charged me for a membership because I used their system for to register my children for camps. I have used them before in the past but have never been scammed before like this. Without my knowledge, they used the credit card I used to register for the camp and charged me for a year of their bogus "advantage membership" program. This company is one big scam.Business Response

I was just charged $99 for a subscription I never signed up for. I went through the website and confirmed that I do not have an account with **********************. So how they got my email and card number is beyond me. I had to call and cancel my credit card to get the payment to stop since it was still pending. From online reading, I have seen i am not the only person with this problem and I'm hoping a complaint will make this buisness be more credible.Business Response

This organization charged my debit card $19.97 last month. I promptly noticed it and notified my bank. They canceled that debit card and issued a replacement card and this morning I noticed it has been charged as well.Business Response

The company charged $99.95 without clear consent for an annual subscription that they were not clear was being authorized. This is a commonly reported issue and has even led to a class action lawsuit against the company but they are still continuing to charge people without clearly telling them what they are signing up for.Business Response

I just noticed a charge on my credit card for $99.95 today 4/11/25 that at first I was unaware was it was for as the description is not clear. After research, I realized it was for this business active advantage which I had recently signed up for a 5k through. I did not sign up or consent for a membership of any kind! I signed up for 1 single run and paid the registration fee at that time, which was $16, that was it. This is unethical and dishonest. I am requesting a refund ASAP!Business Response
