I received a call from Campus Box Media to support our local high school football and basketball teams. I was promised the following marketing: - Spirit Items - Items with your logo handed out at the games - Coupons* - Your branded coupons delivered to your ideal audience - PA Announcements* - The games "brought to you by" *********************** - Thank You Banner* - Your sponsorship banner facing the home team - Social Media Shoutout* - The team thanking you for your support on social media - Geo-Fencing Ads - Targeted digital ads, delivered directly to your ideal audience Football games have started as of a few weeks ago, and NONE of the marketing promised has been delivered. The team doesn't hand out any spirit items, there have been no PA announcements, no updated banners, or social media shout outs. This company is a scam and should not be allowed to continue operating like this. Small businesses are working hard, and being punished for trying to help our local schools. I expect a full refund from this company and am upset with myself for not researching this further before signing up to support our local schools sports teams now that I see I am not the only one this business has scammed.Customer Answer

After multiple emails to the company, I finally received a response, stating the package didn't include social media or banner. I have attached a screen shot of an email from the company outlining what I was promised in regards to marketing at the local high school. I was never given an option of a package or told that the $1,600 I paid to them didn't include everything they mentioned.
I have also included a screenshot from their own art department, when I submitted the digital artwork for the tee shirts, where she states the same art would be used for the banner.
I have once again requested a full refund from this company. They are incredibly misleading and not implementing any of the things promised to me, and from reading other's experiences, this is a trend and a fraud.

9 days after I sent my last email and request for a full refund and the contact information for the school representative, I received an email from Campus Box- without any acknowledgement of my last email or that information requested.
Customer service email received:
"Hello ******,
I wanted to let you know that we recently spoke with our contact at ********* Forest HS who advised that she passed out all the items & coupons at the games and will be sure to get some of your items out on the next home game and will make sure that the AD is doing you and all other sponsors for the ** announcements.
Sincerely,
*****************************"There is only ONE home football game remaining that is even eligible for marketing materials. Yet again, this is not what was communicated to me when I signed up and I certainly wouldn't have spent $1,600 on this.
I once again requested a full refund from the company today, 9/27/2023 via email.

Dear: Dispute Resolution Department,
On behalf of Spirit Stop, I would like to address the complaint letter we received on 9/11/2023 in-regards to ************************
I have spoken to *************************** a couple of times after speaking with our school contact ***********************************, she said she did receive the items and all items were distributed at the games,******************** does distribute the items and makes the list of the sponsors to give to the athletic director and he makes up the wording for the announcements. ******************** also does a shout out on Instagram and then does a photo of the thank you banner to post on Instagram as well. As far as the coupons she said she puts one in the shirts and in the cups before they are tossed into the stands.
I have tried reaching out to **************** a couple more times after my email explaining more and to resolve this complaint, I have emailed a couple of times as well as reached out by phone, but the phone sounds messed up. I would like to talk to **************** to resolve unless she is satisfied.
We again apologize for any inconvenience to **************************, and your office

I am rejecting this response because: I have spent an endless amount of time detailing what was promised to me from Campus Box, sent screen shots, multiple emails back and forth, talked with the school, parents who attend every home game with kids on both the football team and cheer team, and attended multiple home games with my own family. The marketing promotions that I were sold did not occur, including, but not limited to:
-a single social media shout out
-no flyers/coupons handed out at games
-no shirts given or thrown into the audience
-no banners or printed marketing material.
Every time I communicate with the business, I have to re-explain why I have filed a complaint and was told multiple times there are so many complaints, they have a hard time keeping them straight. The only resolution the company has offered is to print some tee shirts, which does not solve any of the issues. The football season has ended, and the company did not do what they sold me in the first place, I honestly do not have faith they will do it correctly this time.
I cannot continue to commit time and energy to this issue with no resolution. The marketing I was promised by the sales team at Campus Box for the football 2023 season was not implemented. The only response I am willing to accept at this point is a refund.

I was contacted by this fraudulent company about sponsorship for my local high school. I paid $1,639.95 up front for this company to provide multiple types of advertisement including tshirts, geo-fencing ads, banners etc. and nothing was ever delivered to the high school. They told me if was around $3,500 total and I would be charged the remaining amount at a later time. I contacted the school and they have never even heard of this company. I have called multiple times and so have the athletic department at the school and we are only able to reach voicemail and have not once received a call back. I want a full refund from these scammers or I will be contacting my attorney this week. This bogus company needs to be shut down immediately for the amount of complaints just like mine.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I am waiting on a current order of 3 dozen T-shirts as a settlement to make up for the loss of the other items that were never delivered to our local high school. I will need more than 10 days (however much time is takes for production and shipment to my own personal address.) Once I receive the new shipment and I am satisfied with the printing, quantity and sizes of the shirts, I will be able to agree and drop my complaint. Until that time comes, my complaint stands and this matter is not resolved.

I received a call to sponsor a local school in my area the day before first game was to be played I stopped by the school to see if there was anything I could do to help pass out the merchandise I was promised. Come to find out the coach informed me of the school not using any outside people to look for sponsors for the school. I've called several numbers left emails and have yet to be contacted. I was contacted by Campus Box Media via phone asking for sponsorship to the local varsity football program at ********************** in Humble Independent School District, ****** **. They said this would be a great opportunity to get my business name out to the public and generate thousands of dollars of revenue for my business while helping support the local school. They said they were contracted with ********************** and my "All Star" package for $1639.98 would include spirit shirts being thrown out at the games, coupons that would be given out at the games (had me proof the coupons May 18, 2023 but never sent me a physical example like the agreement stated), my company name would be on the sponsorship banner facing the home team, social media and PA announcements, and geo-fencing ads. I also received an email August 31, 2023 stating I would get the Campus Box Media realtime report that showed me where my ads were served, how they performed and my projected ROI for the season sponsorship. I went to the game and to much dismay, there were no spirit items, no coupons, no PA announcements, no banner, no social media shoutout, no geo-fencing and no realtime report. I contacted the Humble ISD athletics director, the Humble ISD athletics/public communications, and superintendent and no one has heard of or could confirm an agreement with Campus Box Media and **********************, nor do they have any record of me supporting **********************, and no record of delivery of any products through Campus Box Media. I emailed my findings to Campus Box Media at invoicing@campusboxmedia and ********************************* and requested an immediate refund. I have not received a response. I have attached my initial invoice, my payment receipt and my confirmation from Campus Box about what I can expect to see at the games to generate business. Our business signed up with Campus Box Media to be a sponsor at our local high school. We paid them on May 27, 2023 - $1,119.98 for their varsity package. They said with our sponsorship we would receive cups, coupons, geofencing, thank you banner, social media shoutouts, school announcement of sponsorship. All during the school football games. They said the school also receives a donation. The first game of the season happened and no items were seen at the game. We reached out to the high school athletic director. They have never heard of this company and have no contract with them. Have not received any money from them. Some cups and coupons came to them but they will not distribute them as this company has no actual contract or authority to sign vendors up for sponsorship. My contacts at Campus Box Media are not responding and the one customer service rep who did respond told me again to contact the school. Who once again reiterated that this is a scam. We would like a full refund as the services have not been provided and the company has not fulfilled their end of the deal. We were mislead to believe they had a relationship with the school. I would like someone from the company to contact me.Business Response

This company contacted my company about sponsoring our local high school. We decided we were going to go through them and got the 3rd largest package. we have now had 2 home games and not 1 thing we were told we'd have has been done, I contacted the high school and they had no knowledge of this company nor were they working with them. I tried contacting the company and anytime I get an actual person I get hung up on after explaining why I was calling. I have called many times and left several messages and no one has called me back. They have got me for $2214.0 so far.Business Response

Campus box reached out to our business asking for sponsorship to my local *********** in ***********. They said this would be a great opportunity for our business and the school. Offered different packages/ options and all included, geofencing, company coupons, Ads and social media promotions by the high school. Including 2 banners that would be displayed in the field and gym. Also shirts that supposedly were going to be given out by the teams to people coming into the games. It all sounded amazing, until I called the school to verify and check when the first game would take place. Spoke to the Athletic director and he advised he was not aware of any businesses being promoted by the *********** or their teams. He also spoke to the superintendent who has been in *********************** for years and he stated they definitely do not work with any businesses or companies that help promote businesses. I mentioned ******************************************* and he was in shock to know that there is a company taking advantage of business owners using the *********************** name. We chose the 1 year package that included basketball ,& football seasons. They said we would pay a $2 239 amount quarterly beginning with 1st payment of ,$531 on August 4th 2023. After my findings I called the young lady who called me initially to let her know that I need to file a complaint and the company being a scam. She said she was out of the office but she doesn't handle complaints and I would need to talk to customer service. I demand a refund right away as this is a complete scam. I have attached the invoice which also has my incorrect address which I had called the young lady to fix but an updated one with correction was never made.Business Response

This scam organization is good, even called me back about the upcoming basketball season for our local high school since my business "sponsored" during football season. I referred them to my business partner that has children in this school and had problems getting into the game as a local sponsor (they had no account of our business sponsorship). We paid $799.98 on 03-23-2023 to this company to provide promotional materials, signs, etc. to the local high school for the football season. There were two plastic cups and two false stadium tickets both bearing our company logo and information with the local high school colors and name. We have been in contact with this high school and personnel there have confirmed that they have not received any promotional material nor any support in any form that would benefit the school through our business and this company's faux support of the school activities. There is nothing that will be able to be done with these crooks, since they operate just inside the boundaries of the laws by deception through "slide of hand" type conversations in their sales pitch. I just want to be one on the list of individuals that now know what kind of operations this company is doing, and will be heavy on a campaign to inform all local business owners to never conduct business with anyone affiliated with any of the multiple business names that are used for this organization or any other outside of the confirmed local booster organization for the schools.Business Response
