In August of 2023 I placed an order for a publication concerning an organization of which I was a member. The total order was $471.88 and was paid in full. I was promised a boxed set and a travel bag by February of 2024 and a Digital publication and hardbound book by July of 2024.Never got the February delivery and when I contacted them, I was ignored and they did not choose to respond. Given my reading of the reviews, I doubt I will ever see any of this order.Publishing Concepts, LP

Relentless telemarketers pushing crappy overpriced books. Spammers sending mail, but the callers are pushy and rude, and keep calling and calling even after being told no. Block their numbers and they keep calling from new numbers.Publishing Concepts, LP

Each year, we partner with hundreds of organizations to update their databases and produce affinity publications. Updates and stories are gathered over a 6 month period and we are diligent abut following up with everyone we can to provide our partners with accurate contact information for their members or alumni. On NOV 2023, a transaction was conducted for $1,995, with the understanding that the business would assist in book publishing services. However, a dispute has arisen concerning the video advertisement's content. The discrepancy lies in the discrepancy between the advertised promise of assisting in writing the first book and teaching the process of self-publishing in the future, and the actual outcome of the purchased course. Instead of tangible assistance, the products provided are solely internet URLs leading to other platforms where additional book publishing services must be separately paid for. Efforts to resolve the issue have been made, but the company has not adequately addressed the specific problem. Responses from the company have been notably delayed, with some taking up to two weeks. The heart of the dispute centers around false advertising, as the promotional material led to the expectation of a comprehensive book publishing assistance course. Still, the reality is a series of internet links for additional services. The uploaded agreement does not sufficiently address these concerns. I have tried to to work with you to get a refund and always adding for things to complete and no refund.Publishing Concepts, LP

This is a scam. I blame my Big Ten University's Alumni Department for doing business with these criminals. They just offered me half of the $500 book order I made 14 months ago, because they already shipped this crappy gym bag and t-shirt made of horrible quality. I guess they paid $20 to have the apparel made. I've been contacted by a law firm who is trying to start a class-action law suit against PCI. I will contact the Attorney General and FTC and I suggest you do the same. They have no physical address in ******, of course. Over ****** alumni participated, and it takes time to curate the stories and then to allow alumni and the organization to review/edit that number of stories. We understand the timing is frustrating and at your request, we issued a full refund last week, on January 3. It's been over a year since these guys had me verify some information for my school. I was expecting to have received some merch since July (it's December now), and all I've gotten is "we're working to have them delivered in Fall 2023-winter ****." This company is incompetent, inept and a fraud. Ordered fraternity book August, 2022; paid cash. Have never received any updates even after sending request after request for a refund. Spoke with "****" on October 19, 2023...he wasn't "sure" if a refund would be possible as the book was being shipped. If the payment "could" be possible I would receive the refund in 7 to 10 days. Sixteen days later, no refund, no correspondence, nothing. This company should be put out of business...*******************Publishing Concepts, LP

PCI issued **************** a full refund, at his request, in October. We stopped that check and issued a new one on the same day to the same mailing address in November, after he contacted us to indicate he had not received the original check. Although we have been unable to reach **************** to speak directly with him to confirm, the second check has been cashed. PCI is a 100-year-old family-owned business in partnership with Phi Delta Theta. Contacted a few years back by junk mail on behalf of "82nd ************." and returned call: ***** took all my data correctly and read back and verified it. For >a dozen more times then pci corrupted the letter-perfect entries by ***** that I paid for, converting them to wrong case, black English grammar, wrong number, spelling and in general pidgin English worse than slang. ***** and I tried numerous times to correct them, as did the chairman of the ***** of the 82D Airborne. Ultimate insult to us veterans was their ebonics editor/"proof-reader" changing our homage to and image of an 82D Airborne dignitary and me from the correct "_______ and I" to "me and ______!" Their family should *** for defamation. It's incredible that veterans organizations in addition to ROA continue to shill for these fraudsters. We believe the ***** AG and Vets Affairs office(s) should take legal action.
