      So far my experience with this company has been very poor. The supposed local "leasing experience specialist" does not call back or respond to texts. They took my application fee money and approved me to rent a house in ********* but they keep blowing me off when I try to make an appointment to see the house. They expect me to shell out $2200 to lock in the deal and won't let me see the house despite multiple phone calls. It's very discouraging to think I will have to be dealing with this company if we rent this house. It's been on the market for almost 50 days, you would think they want to get someone in there. I've spent $150 for them to waste my time.

      I have been without hot water for a week and no one has come to fix it.I have 3 kids, one of special needs. My property managers never answer the phone or call back. I have had the ** go out in the middle of summer with ****** degree temperatures and it took days for someone to come out and no accommodations or fans. I have had the heat go out in the middle of winter with freezing temperatures. Again took days for it to get fixed and had to pay full rent. The ******* office property managers never answer the phone or call back. I had to call again today just to have ****** a property manager out of the ******* office hang up on me after i asked for accommodations or for it it just be fixed as I still don't have any hot water so i can't do much at the house and its been considered an emergency and expedited and still no one has come out or put me on a schedule and she refused and wasn't professional. They don't take care of their residents like they should.

      Been leasing a beautiful house from invatation homes since October 2019 and everyone I needed something fixed they got right on it and made the necessary repairs in a timely fashion. Looking to keep leasing with IH at the same house for many more years. Thank u!

      Rented from Invitation Homes for 2 years and up until ending our lease because I bought a home of my own experience was good. Maintenance was addressed in a timely fashion. All that changed once I moved out. The house I moved into the exterior was filthy and wasn't an issue for me but I knew I would ************ in same condition or better but not worse. Interior painting was never done when I received possession of property and an employee of theirs says paint has a 5yr lifespan and Invitation Homes won't paint property before then which I thought was disgusting and pretty desperate to save a few dollars. I vacated property having swept, mopped, vacuumed, plastered small holes, touch *** as needed and bathrooms and kitchen clean. ***** later I get a detailed statement showing they were keeping my security deposit and I even had a balance to pay and if not paid it will be sent to collections and possibly affect my credit. I will be seeking legal action against Invitation Homes. Read reviews, easy for rent not easy to leave.

      Moved in to my new home two weeks ago in *******. Thanks ***************** for making the move in super easy. She kept me updated every step of the way until I received the keys. Also thanks ********* being super detailed during my move in orientation. He made sure everything is working properly and took care any questions I could think of. Thanks invitation homes!!
