      VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. My application was denied with no explanation, they only keep stating they couldn't verify my info. They aren't telling me what couldn't be verified. My employer never received a verification request from them. I've submitted pay stubs, bank statement and more. All via their request and they're claiming that something couldn't be verified. I work too hard for them to tell me they can't verify my income. Oh but they kept that application fee even though they couldn't verify anything. What was the fee for if you're not reaching out to the agencies that can assist??

      Their communication consistency and availability is abysmal. We had to break the lease early because my husband was laid off, and as per our contract, we now owe them over $3,000 (after the security deposit, as we left the home in perfect condition). When they sent the invoice, it didn't say how to pay. I tried emailing and calling my case assistant ******* F****** for over a month asking how I pay my bill. She didn't respond for over a month, not until after my account was sent to collections. Her negligence of responsibilities put a huge dent on our credit. When I contacted her boss (****** A******), they assured me they were going to get my account out of collections and that I would have 30 days to pay (by mail, with no receipt) AFTER it was released back to them (I have her saying this in writing). JUST before she went on vacation, she told me that actually I would have to pay them BEFORE they retrieved my account from collections, by mail, with no receipt. I smell a scam here. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH INVITATION HOMES.

      The invitation Homes technician we had yesterday in our house was very polite, friendly, very experienced and professional, he repaired some of the things that needed to be fix and he said he is coming back to fix the rest, he did a great job and we are a very happy resident, thanks

      I have lived in an invitation home for 19 years. Whenever I have needed maintenance they were very professional and prompt to address my issues. I would definitely recommend invitation homes.

      TRUST THE REVIEWS. The first house we signed up for the "self-tour". we finally got to the house, but the code did not work. It was raining and the nosy neighbors came outside to spy on **. He stood there on the phone with a ***** look on his face as if we were breaking in. We felt so out of place was our first impression. Anyway, so we called invitation homes, they said they dont know whats going on and will get back to us in a day or so. like uhhh ok..? Next day, they called back and said sorry the home was already rented. Second "self tour" request....we got in this time, which was nice, but the whole house had a BAD, no I mean BAAAD odor. we quickly exited and continued our search. The last house....., we requested for a tour over and over because there was no "self tour" available but the house was available for rent on the website. Finally, I get a text from invitation homes (property manager) asking...."why do you want to tour this home so many times?" LIKE WHAT?? I replied, " no, I submitted for request to tour because nobody has responded to my requests and just need to tour it once. She then responded, " well the house is already rented." ... I said well the website still said it was available for rent, that's why we wanted to see it. So we called invitation homes and the guy on the phone checked and confirmed that the house is still "AVAILABLE". I then texted the lady (property manager) back ..which she did not respond. Then a day later, the same guy that said it was available, contacted my wife to say sorry its no longer available. THEN....our account got deactivated, and we can no longer log in or create a new account on their website. Talk about a BAD experience. maybe GOD was looking our for me and my little family,,making sure we do not fall in the hands of Invitation Homes. We will no longer pursue, recommend, or attempt to use INVITATION HOMES. They plainly - ****. so trust the reviews and best of luck on your journey. 0 stars if i could

      I have rented from Invitation Homes since 2013 and it's the only rental company I want to rent from. The quick attention and results to needed maintenance has been the absolute best. As a renter you want your concerns addressed quickly and resolved. Invitation Homes does that.

      BEWARE!! THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BECAUSE THEY WANT TO REPAINT WALLS!! My first time renting a house in *******. And when we moved in everything seemed OK however the air conditioner did not work it took them about three days to get someone to fix it but they finally fixed it. Keep in mind I purposely did not hang one picture in this home because I did not want to put any holes in the sheet rock walls whatsoever. I have been in the construction industry for 30 years. I am a master plumber and an inspector for the county where I live. I know the difference between damage and ordinary wear and tear in a home. I have owned a home for **************************************************************************************************** reality ordinary wear and tear from scuff marks and things of that nature and they charged me almost $2000 to repaint the home!! This is ridiculous its criminal. This is a scam and a way to steal peoples deposits Keep in mind, when we moved in, the original paint work was done so poorly that after two months the caulk was cracking on the base molding everywhere. Also every wall on the inside corner had an enormous amount of caulk which also started cracking so it looked horrendous from the shoddy workmanship. Take a look at their website they have the photos of these criminals. I sent an email trying to dispute these claims but have not heard anything from them. I will fight this with my dying breath I will create a podcast, I will go on social media, I will do everything in my power to let everyone know what this so-called company does to people.I am also sending my photos of the condition of the home when I moved out with my complaint to ******* **** of agriculture and Consumer services.
