Place an order at the establishment in error called within less than two minutes to cancel the order and request. A refund was promised the refund byone associate and a call back did not receive that called the following day asked for the manager was promised a call back and he would be in office at eight. No call received so day three I show up in person requesting my refund for the canceled order. Im told they cannot provideme anything tangible Stating that my refund is processed theyve submitted it and I just need to wait when I asked for the store managers information. The number isprovided and he scribbles and legible information down on an invoice only showing where I paid no refund or no cancellation and advises me that hes too for me and his name is on the door. I cannot reach a valid phone number for Wingstop corporate. The number that is listed on their website does not work and they ask you to fill out several forms this is absolutely insane tobe treated so horribly just trying to get my money back as a single mother.Initial Complaint

When my order was delivered, the seal on the bag was not properly placed, leaving it open upon arrival. I was handed an unsealed bag and was immediately concerned that my meal may have been tampered with. Additionally, I was expecting a female driver, but a male driver delivered my order instead.I contacted DoorDash, and they instructed me to return to Wingstop for a refund. I have a voicemail from Wingstop confirming that their boss approved my refund. However, today, an assistant manager is now claiming there is no refund.Due to the compromised packaging, I chose not to feed my family the meal, as I could not trust its safety. I ordered from a wingstop on ********************* yesterday for thee amount of $23.79 online. The order said that itll arrive in ***** minutes I waited for a minute but at that time the time had passed and it was supposed to be delivered, I tried calling the restaurant and the number didnt even work! I felt scammed and hurt. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional. I dont know if its a new restaurant or a scam or if its even built yet but Im looking for a refund.Initial Complaint

Food not fresh & tasted stale. I advised the employees and they refried the same food in grease & try to convince me that it was good. Those are the French fries we received after the refry and I just took pics, while we waited on the other food. Well we just left afterwards. Bad and Unsanitary to witness 2 employees go to the restroom and come out and not wash their hands. We sat right next to the bathroom. This location does not respond to complaints. Ive been calling and explaining the same problem every Thursday to the corporate office who does nothing but state this matter will be escalated to mgmt, I have not received any response in over a month. I ordered on the Wingstop app at 4:15pm Eastern ahead of time for a pickup at 6:30 pm Eastern time. I arrived at the location at 6:37 pm Eastern and my food was not ready. I waited around until 6:45pm with no estimate on when my order would be ready before I requested cancellation and a refund for my order. On Saturday, January 18, 2025, I went to the Wingstop on Manchester & 3rd in *********, **********. I ordered a 6 pc Chicken meal ($15 or $16). After I paid for the meal, the cashier said there was a problem with the computer (cash register). I asked if I could help by calling my bank to see if the charge went through. I called and we both listened to the transaction, wherein I had not only been charged once, but I was charged twice for a total of $33.08. I asked for the manager on duty. The "so called" manager came over and said there was nothing she could do because she didn't see any charge of the transaction "at all". I was perplexed at this point. Not wanting to create a scene that would surely show up on ********, I asked her how we were going to resolve the matter. I came there to order food, was overcharged, and neither received a refund or food. She gave me a **************** email address and told me to come back, tomorrow, to speak to a manager. This was CRAZY, unacceptable and very unprofessional. I went back on Sunday and left my name and phone number for "a manager" to contact me. I also contacted Wingstop on Monday, January 20, to again, speak to the manager, who ended up being the same "so called" manager (young lady) from Saturday night. Today is Thursday, January 23, and no one has called. I contacted Wingstop's Corporate Office in ***** where a **************** Representative took a complaint and said someone would call in three days. That has not happened. WINGSTOP owes me $33.08 (Thirty-three dollars and eight cents) as I do not want any food from them. The idea, that employees of a business that requires "pay for services rendered" (ie. food), thinks a customer would pay for food, experience an issue regarding the business, and not get a refund or the food as a resolve, is ludicrous. As a suggestion, a few Business Training and **************** Skills Courses would be helpful on knowing how to handle this in the future.Customer Answer

My complaint is with two companies. I ordered food from Wingstop through their website to be delivered (6:36pm). Apparently they use door dash to deliver their food. Delivery time was 7:30pm. Per the tracking it said my dasher was at the location but waiting on my food. The delivery time continued to get pushed back. At 7:45 it said the dasher was still at WS waiting on my order. I tried to use the option to get in touch with the dasher but did not get a reply. So I decided to call the restaurant for an update. The young lady who answered said my food has been ready and they called my name but no one claimed it yet. I told them that my app says the dasher is there. Within seconds of hanging up the tracking changed and said my order was picked up and on the way. The order made it to my house after 8:00pm. The food was cold/disgusting and the drinks were watered down from the melted ice. I called door dash that evening and complained. They said since it was ordered through the website they could only issue a refund to WS and WS would have to refund me. Long story short I have not received a refund I have talked to DoorDash and WS several times. Door Dash states that refund was sent to WS and WS states thats not how it works. Then how does it work?! I spent money on inedible food and I want my money back. This has been back and forth since 12/23/24. I have contacted WS local location, door ******* WS customer complaint option online (never responded). Everyone is pointing the finger to the other. WS says it was door dash delivery so they pay you directly. Door Dash states WS has the refund and we cant issue a refund directly because I ordered through WS website. I feel its unprofessional that there has been no resolve. It seems WS contracts door dash to deliver their online orders but they have nothing to do with each other. It was 08/04/2024 at 6.28pm.we went to eat there with my family, we ordered around $55 first round. I placed an order and paid for my pickup order online. When I went to pick it up the staff told me that they were closed. I asked for a refund and they told me that they cannot do that. I would like a refund of my money. I am a single mother and that amount I cannot afford to lose.
