Kubota has run my credit at least three times a week for six to seven months because I became late on my payments. I was in contact with them on a regular basis and was told that my credit will be ruined because of my late payments. My credit score has dropped by 200 points!!!!I was even contacted by a repossession company on behalf of Kubota, threatening me with violence and destruction of my property.

We purchased our Kubota a little over a year ago, never had problems with it. All of a sudden from one day to the next the tractor began blowing smoke from the motor. We are still paying on the tractor and have 3 year warranty, however Kawasaki is refusing to fix the issue. We then tried an insurance claim which was also denied because there is no physical damage to the machine. We drove 45 minutes to our dealer to try and get a resolution, however were being told theres nothing they can do and we STILL have to pay for a tractor we dont have (its at the dealer where we thought it would be fixed) and doesnt work or ruin our credit because of this faulty machine. Ive gone in circles for over two months now and STILL have NO RESOLUTION and NO TRACTOR. Someone needs to do something about this! I will never recommend Kubota to anyone again! Whats the point of having 3-year warranty if its not going to cover ANYTHING?! Please tell me what to do.

I want to start out by saying that Kubota has been our trusted brand of equipment for my lawn and tree business for many years. It disappoints me to have to say that our company recently purchased a faulty brand new Kubota **** SVL skid steer from the ***** Tractor and Equipment Company in ********. After only 4 hours of operational use, it seems that the machine is now obsolete and needs a replacement ECM computer. I have been told that the motherboard can not be replaced and that I pretty much wasted $72,000. Frustration is an understatement, considering Kubota has been a reputable company for so many years. I continue to scratch my head and wonder how a machine that is less than 6 months old with 4 hours of run time can be deemed un-fixable. If Kubota doesnt want to stand behind the equipment they produce, I would hope they would at least give a refund for the time and money wasted on this machine. I pray this issue is resolved quickly and professionally. Thank you for your time.

      To Whom It May Concern,

Kubota recommends the customer contact his selling dealer to inquiry about a refund or exchange. Kubota warranty will stand behind any manufacturing/workmanship defects. Currently, a ECU is on order for this customer and the dealer is waiting for the part to come in and upon the arrive of the part the dealer will work towards getting the part installed and the machine fixed. If customer has any additional questions or concerns please have them to contact their Kubota Dealer.

It was my hope to resolve this issue in a professional and respectable way however, upon receiving the response from my companys complaint I asked my office manager to contact Kubota corporate to see if we could get something settled in an attempt to resolve this matter outside of the BBB.
She spoke with a man named ****** for about 25 minutes during that she was told that there has been a delay in production of the ****

Regrettably, she was told that the manufacturing facility located in ***** has not fulfilled their production order.  ****** also said that per an email between ******* and *** last name unknown because ****** said he couldnt tell us his last name. Disclosed that     April 3rd the chips should be delivered mid-April and we are in the last week of April and it is not here this call took place on April 19th 2023.

Unfortunately, this regrettable performance reflects poorly on your entire corporation. I am very dissatisfied with how Kubota is handling this matter. At this point Id like to just get a new machine or a refund. Every day that this $72000 machine continues to be an expensive lawn ornament my company is losing money. I need to get this resolved.  If I can supply any other information, please let me know.

Do NOT purchase a Kubota if you want a company to not stand behind their products and warranty! I feel like people should know how Kubota treats their loyal customers & not have to go through what we are right now. We have purchased 5 pieces of Kubota equipment and several attachments from Oakway Tractor in ********** over the last roughly 10 years. We have had 2 skid steers in the past few years & the most recent one being only 18 months old with **** hours on the machine. The first ****75 skidsteer we purchased had engine problems and Oakway could not get a new engine for over a year. In our line of work he can not be down a machine so he traded the ****75 with engine problems in for a new ********. The NEW ******** is only 18 months old with **** ************ say it needs a new ********************************************* along with Oakway Tractor does not want to stand behind their **** hr/24month warranty! They want us to pay $33k+ for a new engine. They also want to point the finger at our insurance company to be the ones to cover the engine instead of Kubota warranty coverage which is absurd! It makes me sick to know that they do honest & hardworking people this way & try to get away with it. Kubota warranty is not worth the piece of paper that its written on if they dont cover their equipment during the warranty period. Along with the dealership putting everything on us to try & get Kubota Corporation to cover the engine. Its a known fact Kubota has issues with their engines but it is easier to point the finger at others instead of standing behind their ******************** We will NEVER own another Kubota or anything with a Kubota engine in it ever again if Kubota does not stand behind their warranty! We have reached out to Kubota corporation via email and voicemails but we have yet to be contacted after 3 weeks of trying to get answers. Please feel free to share with your family and friends so it saves them the headache & financial burden of dealing with Kubota with their lemons.

This complaint is in regards to a transaction that occurred 12/29/20. I was only made aware of the problem explained below as of 02/2023. This is the reason resolution was not pursued prior to this date. On 12/29/20 I traded in my Kubota MX5800HST Tractor to RDO Equipment in ********, **. The tractor was surrendered to RDO Equipment on 12/30/20 as I purchased a **** Deere tractor to replace the Kubota. RDO Equipment was responsible for paying off my Monthly installment loan to Kubota Credit in the amount of $25,506.20. A payoff letter was obtained from Kubota Credit Corporation prior to the purchase of the **** Deere which was valid until 01/13/21 for the payoff amount of $25,506.20. I did not receive a release of lien or paid in full documentation. After the transaction was completed with ***************************** I received 1 letter from Kubota Credit Corporation following the Kubota MX5800HST dated 01/19/21 stating there was a remaining balance in the amount of $275.56 on my account. The last payment to my account was on 01/19/21 in the amount of $25,506.20. I thought this was a mistake as they received the payoff in full amount. I received a 2nd letter from Kubota dated 06/25/21 which stated as of that date there was a payoff balance of $379.13 showing the last payment received on 01/19/21 in the amount of $25,506.20. On 07/10/21 I contacted RDO Equipment and spoke to ********************* who was our sales representative for the sale/trade in of our Kubota Tractor. ***** let me know there was a problem with a lien release on the Kubota from the *** as it was listed as collateral to the ***. I looked back at my records, I completed the necessary paperwork to release the lien with the *** on 01/08/21. On 08/06/21 I contacted Kubota Credit Corporation and spoke to *****************************. She requested that I email a copy of the wire transfer paperwork from RDO for the sale of the Kubota MX5800HST as Kubota was claiming the wire transfer payment was not received on my loan until after the Payoff letter period on 01/19/21 which caused a remaining balance. On 08/06/21@ 7:20 a.m I received the wire transfer information from RDO Equipment via email from *********************. Their finance department recommended I contact Kubota for the problem with my loan having a remaining balance and not being paid in full. 08/06/21 @ 3:02 p.m. I emailed the requested paperwork to ***************************** at ************************************ I never received any further correspondence from Kubota Credit Corporation. On 02/03/23 I received my 2022 Interest statement from Kubota Credit Corporation which shows $0.00 interest paid ion loan #******** with End of year balance of $1595.48. I immediately contacted Kubota Credit Corporation and RDO Equipment regarding this balance. RDO blamed Kubota which led me to call customer service. I spoke to Risk manager ******* at Extension ****. ******* stated that a same day wire transfer was initiated by RDO Equipment on 01/19/21 which was after the payoff letter expiration. Due to having a simple interest loan since the balance was not paid off prior to 01/13/21 by RDO Equipment the balance continued to accrue interest and insurance. Kubota has expressed they are willing to waive $556.00 of these fees on my account. RDO has expressed they will pay the necessary account fees for the period of 01/13/21-01/19/21 which total $60.00. I did not receive ANY correspondence from them to indicate this balance remained unpaid or was not written off. Kubota should have contacted me after my phone call and email on 08/06/21 if they documentation I submitted was not sufficient. I am requesting Kubota Credit to waive ALL of the fees charged to my account from 01/19/21 - present due to their negligence in handling my loan.

Purchased 2 machines from central kubota within the last year. On both occasions I was denied US Army Veteran discounts even though they exist. I request Veteran discounts as a matter of standard operating procedures anywhere I shop. The second machine I purchased was sold to me under fraudulent circumstances. Everyone at central kubota, including the owner ***** has acknowledged I was drunk and high. He called me and told me he believed me himself. My sobriety date is 12/8/2022. The email address that was used for me to sign the contract is not an email address I recognize. I guess I signed, although i dont recall. I have called kubota over ********************************************************** about the email on record and the terms of the contract. I have called kubota 10+ times requesting a copy of both contracts and they refuse to send me full copies. They refuse to discuss the warranty and insurance terms with me, only misleading me about the length of coverages. They have misled me several times by pretending to be each others supervisor. ****? *******? *******? ******? Who knows for sure. They broke their commitment countless times to call me back within the 72 hour ***************** guarantee have when I filed a formal complaint. Im left to wonder what is wrong with me. Is it that Im a veteran? Is it that Im Hispanic? Am I too tall? Is it that Im sober now? The BBB system doesnt accept desired outcomes properly so Ill state that I would like an explanation of charges and a refund.

      1. kubota has not sent me all origination documents.  Have not received warranty documents.  In fact, I do not know what coverage I have or dont have on these machines.  I do not know the dates of coverage.

      2. Kubota has not gone over the origination documents with me.  It has not been explained to me in any manner.  When I call, they hang up or refuse to discuss it with me.  Ive started to register complaints on their website so that it is all documented.

      3. Kubota claims that my original email address is **************************** however thats a nonexistent email address.  Dont think its ever existed and definitely not an email address Ive ever used.  I fail to recognize how an agreement can be signed from a nonexistent email address.

Kubota Dealer: Townline Equipment Sales took my *** in August of 2022 for maintenance and said it needed a new oil gasket. The *** was returned on August 30, 2022 and it shook so violently when started that it couldn't be driven. When notified of the violent shaking, Townline Equipment stated it was probably the motor mount. An invoice for the work was presented on 9/21/22 for $1785.23 which was paid. Knowing the *** was not shaking violently when Townline took it for service I doubted their skills and contacted *****************, another Kubota dealer, to make the necessary repairs. To date, nothing has been repaired because the dealer said they need to work with a Kubota representative to try to figure out what the problem is. It is now December 30, 2022, the *** is still not fixed, the Kubota Corporation has been contacted on 12/21/2022 and 12/27/2022. The company is "working with a local representative" and they have "assigned the case". I have purchased 3 tractors and recently a zero turn lawnmower. I have not had this horrible service until August. Speaking with ***************** today, they will not give me the name of the representative and are "hopeful" that the problem is the pump because Townline didn't bleed the diesel correctly. They refuse to give me the name of the representative so I can talk to him directly. ***** needs to send the bill to Townline Equipment for payment because they caused the problem, but I can't talk to anyone about it because they refuse to give me the name. If possible, please help me to get my *** back in good working order or exchange it for a new one at no cost to me. At this point I am not confident that anyone can fix it so it needs to be replaced.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I submitted a complaint, #********, regarding the Kubota Credit Corporation.  *********** was contacted and requested more time which I agreed to which caused the case to be closed.  At this time I have been contacted by the company asking me to agree to have them diagnose and possibly fix my tractor, however they refuse to give me an estimate for cost of diagnosis and potential repair.  At this time they told me they didn't diagnose "they way we normally do because we let the information drive the diagnosis."  I have now been without my tractor for 5 months, been charged $2,820.13 for a tractor that I gave them in good working condition and they returned in non working condition and still haven't repaired.  Is there anything at all that can be done?  I have also submitted complaints to the Attorney General and Kubota.  Kubota Corporation took the complaint but have not contacted me and I have no faith that they will step up and do the right thing.
      Thank you for your time,

      Regards,

Thanks you for allowing us the time to review your case.

Kubota has been investigating this case along side Salem Farm Equipment and Townline Equipment, and after further investigation it has been determine that the customer wants an exact cost to diagnose and complete the repair. The customer was informed that this was impossible as we do not know the root cause of the issue
meaning we do not know what the repair may entail. We are aware the customer was working with 2 different dealer trying to get to resolution not knowing that it was the same unit questioning assistance. ***************** (the second dealer) did not find any issues with the engine during the diagnostics that were completed which may be causing the vibration. As of today nothing is being done on this unit. The customer did not grant ********** to complete any work beyond what had been completed on January 14 when we had the phone conversation with the customer. Without customer ********** to proceed the unit was reassembled  the unit has been parked outside and the machines awaiting work line up at the dealership. If the customer is willing and ready to move forward please have them to contact ***** as they will be will to discuss steps towards moving forward.

      Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:

At no time did I EVER ask for an "exact cost to diagnose and complete the repair".  I did ask for an estimated cost to diagnose the tractor.  I don't think that is an unreasonable request.  For example, they should know how long it would take to test something such as a transmission and how much they charge per hour.  I have a tractor that has an estimated value of approximately $17,000.00 and I don't want to spend $20,000.00 to fix something that a Kubota dealer damaged. ***************** also stated to me on January 14, 2023 that a "District Sales Manager"  would be contacting me to discuss possibly trading the *** for a new one, to date no one has contacted me.  They don't need to contact me at this point because I will never purchase another piece of equipment from such an irreputable company.  To date, two Kubota dealerships have "worked" on my tractor and had it in their possession since August 2022 and it is now February 28, 2023 and still no tractor and no end in sight.   So far, ***************** has replaced the motor mounts, the fuel injector pump and reinstalled the vibration damper and the *** continues to be damaged.  On January 14, *************** Supply doesn't know what the damage is, what the potential cost could be to fix it, how to fix it or if it can even be fixed.  Should I just take this to court?

      Regards,

To Whom It May ******** The Kubota ************* Manager is willing to work something out with the customer. In order to do so the customer would need to contact Salem Farm to discuss her options. The *** is not customer facing and all communication will come through the dealer or Kubota ********************************* If the customer decides that this is resolve and wishes not to proceed any further at least communicate that to the dealer so they know this matter can be considered close and resolve to the best of their ability.

I am rejecting this response because: Kubota Corporation needs to take responsibility for their dealerships.  Townline Equipment damaged my RTV and ***************** refuses to give an estimate for diagnosis.  A certified Kubota dealership took my RTV for service in August 2022 and returned it damaged.  It has been in the care of certified dealerships for 6 months and I need to be made whole.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is ONLY satisfactory to me WHEN these harassing collection calls END. I have 3 checks out there and I will not pay any ***** fee to stop EACH check. I am, however going to be mailing out a check again today and sending it reqistered certified, RETURN RECEIPT which has to be signed for, from now on. Much cheaper than stop payment fees. Any further collection calls from either entities when I have documented proof of sent payments will be ha dled by an attorney. No fault of ours when payments were sent.

After receiving a letter in the mail regarding my account, I spoke with an agent who informed me that I needed to renew the ach end date on my account in order to continue auto draft. In order to do that, she stated that she needed to take payment first for the month of September so that my account could be unlocked and I could adjust the ach dates. I agreed, and the agent said she would complete payment with the ach info already on file and that my account should be cleared in the next few days in order to adjust the dates. Unfortunately the agent transposed one of the ach numbers incorrectly inputting and 8 instead of a 3. This caused the payment to be reversed, which I subsequently found out after receiving another letter in the mail. I called customer service and then made another payment with a new agent who explained to me what happened. Now, in the middle of trying to purchase a home my credit score has tanked because the error of the first agent. Ive called and spoken with three different individuals to get this late payment removed to no avail. They admit fault and they are able to see based on the records that it was an error on their end with the payment but as of yet they have not removed the late payment from my credit files with all three bureaus. I should not have to pay for someone elses mistake. My credit score has been reduced by more than 100 points due to this error.
