I went to this car wash(Siegen lane)about a month ago & as I was about to pay for car wash the guy working ran up to my window & asked which wash I was planning on purchasing, I told him the $10 lesser expensive ********* said great were running a special & that for my $10 I would get a free month of unlimited washes & at the end of the month there would be NO additional charges! I made it very clear that I was NOT interested if it was a membership or if any additional charges would be applied to my card in the future. The guy LIED, he assured me that I was NOT signed up & NO additional charges would be applied to my card. He said they are offering the special in hopes of getting people to use car wash & if they liked it they would come back & sign up after the month was over. I AGIAN asked him just to make sure that I was NOT signed up for any membership & that my card would NOT be charged for anything in the future & again he promised me that I was NOT signed up & I would NOT charged anything after the month was up! Well now I checked my bank statement & sure enough a $19.99 charge was placed on my card for membership! They know exactly what theyre doing thats why they make it so difficult to get in touch with them. There is ZERO ways to speak to an actual person the only way to complain/cancel etc.. is by writing to them. They do this knowing that some people dont check their statements on regular basis & wont notice a $19.99 charge & if/when they do the company makes it very difficult to cancel the fraudulent charge(s). Listen this is not about the money even though I do want to cancel & not receive anymore charges, the reason Im so frustrated is the fact that the guy bald faced lied to me after I made it very clear that I did NOT want a membership & now Im having hard time getting it canceled.Initial Complaint

After noticing damaging spiral scratches all over my vehicle after washing it at this car wash, I decided to cancel my membership. On February 19, 2024, I cancelled my membership at the location- Beechmont Ave in Cincinnati, OH. I was told by the clerk that it was cancelled and that I would not be billed again. On February 2/28 I was billed again $39.99 for the monthly recurring charge. I immediately called and spoke to Chris at 2:45 PM EST. He claimed that the first time was done correctly, apologized, and then said he cancelled it and issued me a refund. That never occurred. Since then, I cannot get a hold of the company as it's all voicemails, corporate and on-site. I am seeking to make sure my membership is indeed cancelled, and I am seeking my refund, for this last charge. Please note, that I did try the website method of their choice, and that too did not work. I kept getting an error and it would not allow me to submit it.Customer Answer

Double charging me for a car wash membership since April of last year. Bo the manager clearly sees all the transactions showing the DOUBLE membership mistake made by HIS employees and refused to issue FULL credit of $219.99. and only refunded $100. Still owes me $129.99.Initial Complaint

I visited their location in *******************, **** on 1/11/24. At that visit their exit door malfunctioned and scratched my vehicle in multiple spots. Their employees ****** and ******** immediately took responsibility and filed a report with corporate. On 1/23/24 their GM ****** *********** emailed my and said my claim was approved and to get 3 estimates. I collected 4 estimates and submitted to them on 2/2/24. Since that date I have been ghosted and given the runaround. Mr *********** wont return emails, I was given contact for ***** ********* who I spoke to as well and now wont return a call or message. I have used this car wash services since it first opened under another name. Starting in November of 2022 i was double billed for their services until i found out earlier this month. I contacted my credit card company and was told they can only refund me for the last 3 months. That leaves 12 months that i have paid for their services @ ***** per month. I did see the charges on my credit card statement but thought my wife was using this car wash too. I just found out she was not happy with this car wash and had stopped her membership prior to November of 2022. I found out last weekend i was being double billed and tried multiple times to contact ***** the regional manager from the email i was given from the local location. I was told they could not give out his cell number but that they would give him mine to contact me. He has not contacted me. I contacted what i believed was a corporate email through their website late last week and was told I would contacted within 72 hours. I have not *** contacted yet. I remember exactly the day that this started. I was told that my membership had been canceled when i tried to use their services. I was confused but believed them and reentered all of my information. Normally i would have caught the double billing right away but thought it was my wife using their services for her ***** CRV that looks nothing like my GMC Silverado. I only want to be reimbursed for the services that i did not use. I can print out my credit card statements and scan them to show that i was double charged if needed. I'm very disappointed that White Water car wash would not contact me directly to get this resolved without going all this effort on my part.Initial Complaint

Credit card was charged a monthly service fee for six months. After contacting the company with no response, I am writing for help. Each charge is for $32.99, I received credit for one month (Jan 2024). The initial visit on 7/22/23 was a 1x wash for $18. The attendant failed to return the credit card to me. Once noticed (after leaving the site and within 30 minutes), I drove back to the site to ask for the card. It was no where to be found. I canceled the credit card immediately and never went back. Not sure how the new credit card number was achieved, but my new card was then charged for these monthly visits and when I went to the site in January, the manager could tell from the license plate that I had not returned for a car wash since that one visit in July.Initial Complaint

On 2/10/2024 at approximately 2:05PM, I visited the White Water Express Car Wash located at ***************************************. Hoping to address some residue on my back window, which appeared to be from either a spilled drink or some animal-related debris, I paid $15 for the car wash service.Upon entering, an attendant applied soap to my front and back windows before instructing me to proceed through the car wash. Unfortunately, the car wash proved to be brief and ineffective in cleaning my vehicle thoroughly. Upon exiting, I realized that the residue on my back window remained largely untouched. Additionally, my wheels were still dirty, and the overall cleanliness of my car was unsatisfactory. The vehicle appeared only slightly wet, leaving me perplexed about the quality of the service I had paid for.Given the inadequate results, I am seeking a refund for the car wash, as it did not meet the expected standards of cleanliness. They charged us $39.99, instead of the original $24.99. We have tried to cancel this several times, and when we do, we get an error saying they can't find the account to cancel it. We want our account cancelled, and want the unauthorized amount, of $39.99 put back on our card. This is the worst car wash we ever used. They change the amount you are charged, with 0 notice. They make it impossible to cancel
