I don't know how to get redress for a scheduled visit that was in error, by VES, on 07/11/2022 and not reimbursed. Excessive wait time on phone and non-replies to my emails are pretty much the norm. Moreover, there FAQ states claims will be paid 7-14 days, yet I haven't been paid as of this date 10/03/2022. Are they using the veterans contract monies as a float. I would hope someone would investigate.
    Thanks you,
    Stan H*****

Was scheduled for 9:30am fasting lab on 09/09/23. Confirmed it with VES and drove down and the lab was closed. Called VES immediately and they tried phoning the lab to no avail. VES said they would reimburse me for mileage and reschedule new lab. So far haven’t heard a word from them.
Called them today to find out why haven’t been rescheduled nor have seen a mileage check …the lady put me on hold and after about 15 mins line went dead . They did not even call back.
This service is a joke…they’re website is a joke.
I drove close to 180 miles round trip and had to cancel another VA appointment on the same day. Needless to say I’m rather pissed.

I wish that I could give VES zero stars.
Thaey are absolutely terrible regarding customer serv ice.
As a Veteran filing for disabvility, the VA contracts VES to schedule our physical/mental examinations with health professionals.
As soon as VES gets the Veteran file, they schedule appointments without any verteran consult. If the appointment does not fit the Veteran's schedule I have to call and reschedule and THEN I can let them know the days/times of my availability. That's one (1) cancellation.
VES then schedules another exam and in my case, rescheduled on a day/time that I informed them was unavailable. Then I have to call and reschedule. That's the 2nd cancellation.
That's all they allow. When they schedule the third exam on a day that I marked as unavailable, they send the Veteran file back tot he VA with a remark that the Veteran did not make the appointments.
They continue to do this untitl the Veteran raises enough Hell that a manager finally sees the file and cancels everything.
I hate this company. They treat veterans like cattle.

Filed my VA disability claim, assigned to VES. Initial phone call they took some info, address & dates available for appointments. Told them my permanent address was Idaho, but please schedule me for Ohio (where I'm stationed). Also told them I'm permanently leaving town in August, and will not be in Idaho for some time (we are traveling the US for several months) so please schedule appointments before then (which was within VA's 45-day timeline for BDD claims). She also told me I'd have at least 4 appointments: diagnostics, ophthalmology, audiology, and C&P exam.
First appointment is scheduled for Spokane, WA. I call to tell them I can't make that, please make appointments in Ohio. Next appointment is in Ohio, but mid-August. I call to ask them to change the date. I'm informed that the last agent blocked the entire month of July as "unavailable."
I managed to get ophthalmology & diagnostics through them, and have no idea how/where to get the reports. VA doesn't have them (of course). They cancelled audiology, didn't say why, told me to call the VA. VA (after much time on hold) said it was b/c I didn't claim hearing loss and didn't need that appointment. No C&P exam scheduled. Now I am out of time.
The agents you talk to are not the ones doing the scheduling, they leave notes for the schedulers. Their paperwork says they will contact you before scheduling an appointment - they do not. You will either get an email or a letter overnighted via ***** informing you of an appointment. You are supposed to call or go online to verify the appointment. Calling will lead to being on hold then getting a mailbox that's full, can't leave a message, or an agent who doesn't know anything. Their phone menu says you can dial a known extension - nope, you can't do that. Their website is pretty useless. No place to verify appointments. Results from the appointments you've had aren't there. For the 2 appointments I've had, only one was listed on their site.
    Overall: AWFUL!

I believe ves is scamming the government and scamming disabled vets. They keep scheduling doctors to review medical claims that are outside their practice. I have GI issues and so far theyve scheduled me with one dermatologist and two neurologist. The last doctor a neurologist is currently sitting on my paperwork. It is unfair to blame the VA for wait times when the contractor hired to fix that is the problem.
