I was walking thru the parking lot so I could see if a friend was there when I seen he wasn't I was on my way to leave when the black front desk lady came from behind and bear maced me for no reason then started cussing at me I made several attempts on contact them but no responseLa Quinta Inns

I am beyond frustrated with the LaQuinta *********************, specifically with the manager. I left my Apple Watch there on November 2, 2024. Three weeks later, a kind and helpful receptionist confirmed my watch was found in my room, identified by my name on the room and the band color. She informed me that I needed to purchase a shipping label and email it to them so their manager could drop it at the post office and send it to me. I was using a company account number, so I passed on the information and was informed that it was then passed on to the manager.After 10 days of hearing nothing and not receiving my watch, I reached out via email and phone. Only then was I informed that they couldnt send it to a company and that I had to purchase a regular shipping label. Not a problem. I purchased and emailed the label the next day, attaching my email to the label for updates. This was on December 13, 2024. As of today, January 28, 2025, the package still has not been dropped at the post office according to the tracking number.I have called many times, even waiting on hold for an hour and a half trying to speak directly to ******, but she is never there. When I ask when she will be in, no one can give me an exact schedule. I have left multiple messages with my number and a request for her to call me, but I have not received one call. I have emailed her professional work email numerous times, and she has never responded.The other day, another employee called me to inform me that the package was dropped off two days after the label was sent (12/15). However, the tracking number still says it is waiting to be dropped off. If that is the case, why couldnt she call me and help me sort this out with her and the post office?I do not know where else to turn but to post here in hopes of a resolution. The support staff have been nothing but helpful and are trying to work with the information they are given. It is the manager I am having an extremely difficult time with.La Quinta Inns

They refuse to have their hotel in ******** CO release the surprise $100 deposit they took off my card. It's been over a week since I left and my bank says the merchant still says the status of the refund transaction is still pending and only the merchant can change the status so the money can be available to me. I've called the *********** location about 6 times and instead of making even the slightest effort to help me, they insist there's nothing they can do about it. Come on, man.La Quinta Inns

The first thing that hit me when I walked into the ********** La Quinta, was the unmistakable smell of sewer gas. Or maybe someone brought his lunch from home. I wish I could leave a - star review. Absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had, thanks to the Kanab Utah staff.Disgusting, pure disrespect and attemped theft through fees and dishonesty. While on a ******************************************************************************* well before my arrival. The person she dealt with repeatedly kept trying to increase the price. After booking, she informed me to double check that fees werent added, or the total increased. Sure enough, they raised the amount AND said it wasnt paid. I called her, she spoke to small Indian kid at the desk. He lied, was disrespectful and started to yell. He gave me my phone back, refunded my cash I paid for the room (after my girlfriend had paid by card) and began to yell at me and theatened to call the cops. Mind you, i had been driving for 16 **** hours.I went two blocks away, and thanks to Holiday Inn Express, I had a room, in a building that didnt stink of sewer, for $3 more.I was traveling on behalf of a non-profit that works with Vets, disadvantaged kids, rescue animals and trauma victims. The disrespt from the child like fool at the desk was horrible. His disrespect of my loved one triggered enough anger that he should be greatful that this old Vet, has learned restraint and self control. Needless to say, the absolute nasty treatment from the La Quinta In **********, will be spread to as many people as possible, as we both relay our experience with this abysmal example of a hotel, and the worst customer service i have experienced in ANY business in my entire life. 1 starOn August 1, 2024, I had to check out of my room due to a water pipe under the sink breaking and soaking the carpet. I notified the front desk and also contacted the corporate office and asked for a refund of my room charge. As of today, January 7, 2025, I have not had a response. I was not able to shower and if I had used the hair dryer I would have been electrocuted. I had stayed at this hotel for years but I would never recommend them ever again. I booked 2 rooms for 1 night each plus 6 nights of parking through park/sleep/fly program which we had done without any issues on 2 previous trips (different hotel and city). Over 24 hours prior to checkin, I realized we would not make our reservation in time as we ran into travel issues. I read the program cancellation policy and the hotel cancellation policy and followed both. I called the hotel property and was assured that I would have 0 charges for either room as I was cancelling over 24 hours in advance. I obtained a cancellation confirmation # and provided this to park/sleep/fly and was refunded my deposit the next day. As I was on my cruise, I noticed 2 charges from LaQuinta for what was supposed to have been the balance due for each room. I immediately called and was told that I had made a second reservation which I wasnt aware of and didnt cancel it. She then transferred me from her ***** (reservations) to the hotel front desk where I was told that I no called no showed and that is why I was charged. I asked to speak with management and was told to call back the next day, which I did. Initially, I was hung up on and then called back. Upon speaking to the manager, I was told that she did see that I cancelled but did not cancel within 24 hours and so was changed for a no call no show. I advised that I cancelled well over 24 hours prior to the reservation and again was told I cancelled at 5am the day of. I have proof that it was cancelled at 8:47 am on the 27th (reservation was for the 29th). The manager told me she was going to investigate with the reservations department and call me back that day. It is now 4 days later and I have yet to receive a return call. I have filed a dispute with my bank and will NEVER stay at a LaQuinta again and discourage anyone who chooses to do so to think twice as this company does not follow their own policies and lies to the consumer. 1 starThe hotel had a real bad smell. I didn't feel safe. They kept over charging my card and when I would ask the manager in the office she always said she didn't know what the charges where for? Then she said that she took my card off file but that wasn't true cause they keep charging my card. The thing I didn't understand the most was I had already prepaid for the room? 1 starThey stole our deposit claiming we stole 3 pillows when first off we didn't have pillows, a coffee maker, or towels upon arriving we asked for 2 pillows that were still in the room when we left and they are claiming that they can take our deposit for theft of 3 pillows and they are claiming we had a dog when we didnt ...this place is a joke they are thieves.
