  This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a finance company. I bought a used car back in 2019 - never once made a single late payment, and recently paid it off in September. Without going on a tangent, their communication is AWFUL. No title, no confirmation of the car being paid in full, and hour long wait times on the phone. After paying off the car, Exeter so kindly reported a 30+ day late payment to my crediting agencies, which dropped all of my scores 50+ points. When I called to find out why in the world they reported this, the representative had no clue and I had to start the process of jumping through hoops to dispute this. Well I just called to follow-up on the status of the dispute, and the rep had zero clue where it was and told me to call back in a couple days. While on this call, I asked where my title is, and they sent it to the address that I lived at 5 years ago, in spite of me changing that information when I moved. Now I have to wait another 30 days for my title and I have zero status update about my credit dispute. I worked really hard to pay off my vehicle, and now Im screwed because of it. I hate this company and Ill never use them again.

  I called in with some questions about my account. When asked to verify my employer, I was told the employer on file was ******* and ******. I told them I never worked for ******* and ******. I asked is that what the dealership gave to you. The agent replied yes. I asked how did that happen. The agent said it must have been a mistake. This led me to believe the dealership I did business with (********************) did some fraudulent activity to get my loan approved. It also led me to believe Exeter was in on the scam because I did not even present any pay stubs that say ******* and ******. The agent at Exeter then just hung up on me.

  A Disappointing Experience with Exeter Finance I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Exeter Finance, and I must say that my overall impression of the organization is far from positive. From their customer service to their handling of customer inquiries, my interactions with ********************** left me deeply dissatisfied.First and foremost, the customer service I received was abysmal. It was abundantly clear that the representatives I spoke to were not adequately trained to handle customer inquiries. Their lack of knowledge and expertise was glaringly apparent, and it often felt like they had no idea what they were doing. It was frustrating to have to explain my situation repeatedly, only to receive vague and inaccurate responses in return.Perhaps the most concerning aspect of my experience with Exeter Finance was the consistent provision of false information. I was given conflicting information from different representatives, leaving me confused and unsure of the facts regarding my account. This level of incompetence and inconsistency is unacceptable and only served to exacerbate the frustration and stress I was already experiencing.In addition to the problems with their customer service and the dissemination of false information, I found that Exeter Finance lacks transparency and accountability. It was challenging to get clear answers to basic questions about my account, and the company seemed more interested in deflecting responsibility than in resolving issues satisfactorily.Overall, my experience with Exeter Finance has been nothing short of disappointing. The organization's customer service is subpar, their representatives appear untrained and ill-equipped to assist customers effectively, and the provision of false information is a significant concern. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Exeter Finance to think twice and explore alternative options that prioritize customer service and professionalism.

  0 stars. Miscommunication across the board. Would not recommend. If you want to make any changes, please plan for it to take 3 months or longer. They tell you one thing and do another.

  Yall must have crackhead running this s*** show of a finance company I payed my bill early and canceled autopAy and they still took the money out of my account 2 times in one month money totaling 800 something dollars this company needs to be shut down fr fr there scamming people and fraud af and customer service is dumb af they have no idea what there doing there no help b****** ain't getting another payment from me till I get the last payment back..

  Theyre grimey!Exeter Finance does nothing to resolve any issues with a customer. All theyre concerned with is payment and reporting. The customer service rep ******* answer my question, so I was hung up on

  Zero stars. Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of being involved with. I paid off my car loan over 2 years ago that had a 19% intrest rate. I didnt get the title. They sent it to an adress i hadnt lived at for 3 years. Constantly getting my information wrong. They still have a lein on my car, even tho it is paid off i can't even get a duplicate title. They can't even get my email address correct. I have had to correct it every time I call in and they never fix it so I don't get the emails I need. I wish everyone could see all the reviews on this company before getting talked into working with them. I wish they would be forced out of business.
