I believe the *** said his name was ****, but it was hard to tell.. He came by door to door to try to get us to sign up under some discount they were running "today only" (like always). He starting listing out full names (first and last) of neighbors they are doing services for (so your information is NOT confidential with them). When I stated my husband takes care of that kind of stuff but wasn't home and didn't know when he'd be home, I asked for a card so he could give him a call back. He said "oh, no cards on me today", but then proceeded to ask me 3 additional times when my husband would be home so he could talk to him, despite me saying that I really didn't know. He kept pressing and I told him we'd be in and out, he asked when we'd be GONE so he didn't try to come back then. (Not sketchy at all...) He even asked what vehicle my husband drives to keep an eye out for him... That's a lot of personal questions and wouldn't take "I don't know" for an answer. Seemed pretty sketchy and very pushy. I get they are trying to sell services, but seems a little inappropriate to ask when we WON'T be home or what kind of cars we drive... Needless to say, not interested in even considering them.

1 starReally negative experience; ***** **** stood on my porch, begging for my business after I was going to rescind the agreement within the permitted 3 day window. He offered additional price concessions, which he never implemented in the contract. These door to door sales tactics are really misleading, and he will say ANYTHING to get your business. 1 starThese guys are scam artists. I point blank asked the sales guy if I can cancel at any time without penalty and he said yes.The technicians essentially sprayed my house with water because there was no discernible difference so after two services I called to cancel; to my shock, they wanted to charge me a hefty cancellation fee.They said I could take advantage of their warranty and theyd come out as frequently as needed. Well, they canceled on me 3 times and two of those were no shows.I called to complain and they still wanted to charge me a cancellation fee so I had to get my credit card company involved.Avoid this company at all costs!Review fromKathy H

1 starWe are extremely unhappy. Moxie came to the door to sell services. We already have a good pest control service, but we asked if they could get rid of our wasp nests in the entry (mud dobbers), and they said yes. But when the gentleman came out, they were not removed and are still there. He said we should powerwash and paint (we had a window cleaner who always got rid of them for us but he has retired). SO I ask, what did we pay for? Nothing. I asked to cancel and we were changed 80% of an annual fee BUT NO SERVICE WAS PROVIDED. We essentially paid for nothing, and they would not credit us. It is unfair and very poor on their part...it borders on a scam.Review fromYvette J

1 starMoxie Pest Control is a rip-off; their services are horrible! I signed a contract for five services that were supposed to be $99.00 per treatment, not $129.00. This was one issue. After the second service, I no longer wanted the service due to the ant treatment not working and the tech not applying ant bait correctly. Several times, I called and complained due to ant bait being thrown on my deck and patio like a 3-year-old did it. I spoke to the account manager in April, who stated that as of July 1st, I could cancel my service.Well, here we are on July 1st, I called to cancel my service. They tell me I have to get one more treatment for $129.00 or pay $103.05 to cancel, as I was on the phone specifically telling them not to charge my card, as the account manager in April stated I could cancel the account. The manager I was speaking to charged my card! How disrespectful and rude! Moxie ************ is not a company I would recommend to anyone; they are horrible. I requested to speak to someone else, but the account manager said there was no one else; she was the manager. I want to request a refund of the cancellation fee I paid ($103.05).Review fromJimmy Z

1 starI WISHED I NEVER HEARD OF THIS MOXIE COMPANY. THEY HAD A SALES REP TELL ME THAT I WAS UNDER NO CONTRACT AGREEMENT AND I CAN CANCEL ANYTIME. I HAD NO IDEA OF AN EARLY CANCELLATION FEE WHICH IS THE OTAL AMOUNT OF A YEARLY SERVICE AGREEMENT. HOW IS THERE A YEARLY SERVICE AGREEMENT WHEN THERE IS NO CONTRACT AND I CAN CANCEL ANYTIME!!!??? COMPLETELY FRAUDALENT AND DECEPTIVE. I WILL MAKE SURE TO TELL ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE HOMEOWNERS, NOT TO USE THIS MOXIE SERVICE. I call if I see anything and they schedule me in quickly and address specific concerns and in addition find wasp nest and and ants I didn't know I had. This company is a total scam. I tried to cancel after miscommunication and dishonesty and they billed my account anyway. The sales *** lied to me by saying if I canceled after the first treatment i would be charged 80% of the second treatment. Instead when I tried to cancel they automatically billed my account for 80% of the next 3 treatments. Over $400.Moxie Pest Control, LP
