I would not recommend this company to anyone. They continually change the time or dates when you have confirmed an appointment. I have tried to cancel my service but after paying over $1000.00 for all of my termites stations, they told me that they would have to remove them from my home after I paid and still pay for monitoring them, OUTRAGES! PLEASE HIRE SOME OTHER COMPANY! They also do not keep the appointments that you've set up. They continually make changes to the times and or dates!Moxie Pest Control, LP

3 starsI am leaving a 3 star review because of the high pressure door-to-door sales. The sales person was very friendly however would not take no for an answer and then would switch up the conversation only to bring you back to discussing the services. I felt overwhelmed and as if the person would not leave without me signing up for the services. After he left I further reviewed the contract and did some additional research. After reading the contract I did email the company 2 times to notify them I was cancelling the service and later spoke with a customer service *** this morning to cancel the service. The customer service ***resentative, *****, was very pleasant and very helpful. She did cancel the service and indicated there would be no penalty for the cancellation. I will expect to see there is no charge in the next couple of days and that I will not be needing to file any formal compaint.Review fromFredrick S

1 starWith out knowing my wife had turned down their services, I signed up for their service seeing that I had 3 days in which to cancel, stated in their proposal. When I spoke to my wife and learned that she did not want the service, that same day I called and emailed them to cancel.The agent that I spoke with tried everything to get me to continue with the service, but I continued to say no. There was no extenuating circumstances listed on the cancellation statement. I sent them a second cancellation notice on day two.They sent a worker out, the same day, to do the work for the first application but in my experience, the seller does nothing during the cancellation period, because of the possibility of ****************** I find they charged me the $200 repayment of the discount that I did not take, due to my cancellation efforts.The sales people are very persistent in trying to get you signed up and keep you signed up. I suspect having one of their people come out the same day you sign up is their way of trying to negate the 3 day cancellation period.This, I believe is underhanded and borders on criminal, Hopefully they will reconsider so I don't have to take further action. Review of Moxie Pest Control Misleading Sales Tactics and Unauthorized Charges My experience with Moxie Pest Control was disappointing, and Im sharing it to help others make an informed decision.A Moxie representative spent nearly an hour at my home explaining their services. At no point was a one-year contract or early termination fee mentioned. My family clearly stated we needed time to consider, but the representative applied pressure, emphasizing that many neighbors had already signed up. We ultimately agreed to what we believed was a one-time service, based on his clear assurance that we could cancel at any time without obligation.After the initial service (which I paid for), I called to cancel before a second visit and was informed I had committed to a one-year contract. I was told that canceling would incur an early termination feenearly four times the cost of the original visit. I explained that these terms were never disclosed, but Moxie declined to waive the fee.I disputed the charge with my credit card provider, and the case was initially resolved in my favor. However, several months later, Moxie recharged my card without authorization using stored payment information. I found this deeply concerning and a serious breach of trust. They submitted a past transaction as justification, and the dispute was reversed. I am now pursuing additional steps to address what I believe was unauthorized use of my card.More troubling is that several of my neighbors reported similar experienceshigh-pressure sales, unclear contract terms, and unexpected charges. This suggests a broader pattern.Based on my experience, I recommend caution when considering Moxie Pest Control. From what I can see, you did sign up for the service agreement and accepted the terms of the contract. It appears you were enrolled in auto-pay, which is outlined in the agreement.We always encourage our customers to carefully review all terms before committing, and I hope this can serve as a learning experience for future reference.That said, we do appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration.

The door to door high pressure sales approach is deplorable. My husband did not understand what he was agreeing to I told the salesman no but he did not mention my husband had signed something and now we see they scheduled service without consent. I will be contacting the police first thing tomorrow am to try to prevent them from coming onto our property.Moxie Pest Control, LP

****** and his crew were very conscientious and diligent in the job that they did. They worked very hard and did not s**** off. They had to work in 2 different attic sections that were a very tight space. No one had been in there for years. It was a very long day for them, but they did not rush the job. Your sales people are rude and continuously harass people after being told no, dont come back, Im not interested. I have a very clear no soliciting sign up that states DO NOT KNOCK, NO SOLICITING, NO SALESPEOPLE, NO EXCEPTIONS yet they ignored it and came to my house MULTIPLE times knocking AND ringing the doorbell at the same time after telling them no, go away, read the sign. I dont care if youre working within the law, i demand respect at my home. This happened in ************** in **************************. I know for a fact multiple calls were made yesterday about this very thing and they were ignored. Train your people to do better. If theyre told no, or theres a sign up, leave us alone. And we all have ring cameras and can hear the lovely things the sales people say after we tell them to leave.Moxie Pest Control, LP

Regarding your concern about our representatives, I want to assure you that all of our sales personnel are properly licensed and authorized to conduct door-to-door visits. We do not send anyone out without ensuring they have the required permits and have gone through the proper channels, including obtaining any necessary permissions from the city. While we respect your No Solicitation signs, it's important to understand that these apply to unlicensed individuals. Because our representatives are fully licensed, they are permitted by law to engage in door-to-door activity in accordance with local regulations. Licensing can, in some cases, provide exceptions to certain restrictions.
Lastly, since you have not used our services, your feedback does not reflect an experience as a customer. We always welcome constructive input, but reviews are most meaningful when provided by those who have actually engaged with and used our services.

Very bad company. They dont call ahead and then show up when Im not home and dont do anything inside the house but charge me full price. I tried to cancel but they said I would owe the balance of the contract. Very high pressure salesperson and when you try to reschedule they come anyway. Do NOT use this companyMoxie Pest Control, LP

Thank you for letting us know. However, according to my notes, it seems that you feel you dont need the services, which is why youre not satisfied. Technically, this means you dont require much of the service we provide.Please keep in mind that if you decide to cancel the services simply because you no longer want them, that is a different matter. The cancellation request was submitted by you, and you may cancel at any time. However, there is a cancellation fee of 80% of the remaining services, which you agreed to when you signed on 3/24/25 at 4:54 pm.
If you decide to cancel, you may do so, but it might be more convenient to continue using the services.
