Mr. Cooper has failed to pay my taxes, failed to reimburse me for my fees and interest I paid because they did not pay my real estate taxes, and failed to add the new parcel on my account so this wouldn't happen again. A year later I am going through the same motions of failed tax payments, house being put up for auction, and long overdue **** with fees and interest with promises of resolution this time. I am doubtful of success after the last 3 attempts to resolve this with them. I purchased my house in October of 2020 through a different lender(Nationstar?) where it immediately changed hands to Mr. Cooper. My house has 2 parcels which were purchased appropriately, but in September of 2021, I received a letter of delinquent taxes for the one of the parcels where they didn't pay the taxes for the entire year and are about to put my house up for auction. I immediately paid the bill with fees and interest, where Mr. Cooper told me over the phone that they missed one of the parcels with the Escrow Tax payments, were very sorry and have added the parcel back, and will reimburse the fees and interest. After no progress or update was done, I called back where I was able to get a confirmation email that they were supposed to have added the parcel back in, and are working to pay me for the fees and interest accrued throughout the year 2020. No response or action despite follow-up calls, escalations, and faux promises. Currently, I have received yet another letter that I have a few weeks to pay this *********** parcel tax bill that ************** has failed to pay(again) or my house is going up for auction. I have no faith that Mr. Cooper will resolve this issue nor make restitution for their errors where I am looking for outside or legal assistance.

Avoid this company at all costs. Worst financial experience I have ever had. I have had nothing but problems over the last 6 years with my mortgage, starting when they were Nationstar. So many issues with miss managing my escrow account. There, unfortunately, is little to no end in sight because of the high interest rates. I think the *** and my attorney should have something to say about it.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. My loan was sold to them and my mortgage payment went up $150 a month for an alleged escrow shortage. Every time I call them for details on how to get out of my escrow or check eligibility to be removed from my PMI they assure me they are looking into it and to check in with them in a couple days. Then when I call back they have no recollection of the previous call or tell me something that contradicts what the other representative said. The company leaves NOTHING for a paper trail. No follow up emails, no voicemails, no confirmation emails..it's like they want they customers to just throw their arms up and let them continue to s**** them over. THEY ARE THE WORST. I am so frustrated my loan (which is locked in at such a low rate I can't afford to refinance) was sold to them.

The Mr. Cooper agents are not informed and illegal practices i.e., lying to the consumer about how to remove PMI only through refinancing. They are hard cold selling refinances in every aspect and at every corner. I will never do business again with a mortgage company that sells their loans and especially with Mr. Cooper. The lies and the lack of customer response and continued phone calls and follow-up are upside down. In addition, their email case and history is limited to a one-sided conversation in that consumers can not see all the information such as current appraised value. Do not do business with Mr. Cooper. Get out of it if you are sold to them and run far far away.

My mortgage transferred to Mr. Cooper and my payment immediately went up $150/month for an alleged escrow shortage that has never been mentioned to me by my previous servicer. 4 years into my loan think someone might have mentioned a shortage before these con artists got ahold of me.

The WORST service. I have been trying to finalize my payoff and ***** can return a phone call! After calling for 3 weeks, I finally get in touch with someone who cannot handle my account. These are called "Payoff Specialists" and have no business being in any sort of accounting. For your own good, do not use this company.

The process of getting my home loan through my bank was an absolute nightmare only to be handed off to Mr ********************** as the ultimate poo on top of this nightmare cake. They have terrible payment distribution when we over pay monthly. They call me multiple times a month about refinancing my loan when I have asked them multiple times to take me off their call list unless there is a problem with my account or payment. To date they still haven't stopped calling me. I can't get a straight answer on most of my questions since no one answers the same way and when you are unfortunate enough to have to talk to a Loan Specialist they try to bully you into working with them of refinancing or doing things with your mortgage that you already made very clear you don't want to do. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

This mortgage company is the worst and very unprofessional. Communication was horrible throughout the entire process. ***************** would say he didn't get our emails and that he tried to call but he never did. Towards the end of the process and after giving the down payment I called him for a minor detail and he just said we can't do the loan. Basically rushed the phone call and did not give ** any explanation whatsoever. I kept asking and he would just brush me off saying we can't do the loan that's it. We were so confused. This is a horrible company

A few weeks ago I called Nationstar Mortgage (AKA: Mr ******* to inquire about an Equity loan. I spoke with *********************.

She gave the information I asked for and told her that I would consider it.
However, I changed my mind since I didn't want to refinance. (I thought I would be able to borrow funds for the project and be billed seperately. She told me it was not able to do it that way. Refinancing was the only way.)
Since I didn't want to add the funds on to my mortage I told her I would contact her once I made a decision.
I was sent emails trying to get me to refinance to include forms on my gmail account urging me to sign and return. I even received calls from Nationstar which I did not answer.
Despite my contacting them to say I chaged my mind, I received a packet in the mail requesting signature to refinance.
I honestly felt like I was being harrassed to something I changed my mind about.
      Clearly, no one was listening!

I have a mortgage loan of $152k, I sent to them check of $100k, I expected them to lower my monthly payment of $1116, then, they told me to pay a fees of $250 to do that, so I paid the fees .. They emailed me that they declined to lower my monthly payment, I told them pay me my fees $ of $250 ....they told me that the fees is nonrefundable... they sent me back my $100k it seems that they have interest in keeping my loan to its maximum!!!!! Please BBB let them pay me back the fees of $250 !!!!
