      This is an absolutely horrible company. I got a quote years ago for multiple policies and most everything I was quoted was obscenely high! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of accepting one small policy with them. Their communication is non-existent, right up until they decide to start harassing you with sales calls. They conitnu to call and insist I set up an appointment to review starting up more policies. I've answered their calls dozens of times and told them I am not interested and to please stop calling me. They continue to call on the scale of 4 - 8 times every single day at all hours. I've refused to answer hundreds more calls and blocked at least 2 dozen numbers. Finally, I started answering again and telling them that due to the harassing phone calls and their disregard to my request for them to stop calling me, I told them I want the existing policy that I do have canceled effective immediately. Their response to that us to just hang up on me. If you are even remotely considering doing business with this company, DO NO DO IT!

      Bro...Take away their accredidation. The prey on veterans and elderly individuals to get the contact information for their close relatives and record them during the zoom call and sent a clip to you in their initial text message to you (without you agreeing to receive texts from their company) to make it look like your grandparents are endorsing them, all to build their prospect pipeline. They continue to contact you relentlessly, multiple times a week by call and text requesting you urgently get in touch with them as you now have access to "special veteran benefits" basically begging you to schedule a zoom call with them and dedicate an hour of your time to talk about something i never inquired on, nor did anyone ask if i was interested in, only to be told that they can't give me information on what they are trying to sell you before hand so that you can make an informed decision to agree or disagree to a call. They are trying to sell life insurance under the guise of getting "special access" to make it seem important. Even if the product is legitimate, the sales tactic is slimy, self-serving, and exploitive.

      I have never had anyone try so hard to sell you something. I listened to what they had to say and I had said I dont want it and they kept pushing and pushing and I had told him that and he said Im sorry Im not trying to make you feel like that and kept going and I was very irritated and said they can call me back in a month and see if maybe I will change my mind and I had gotten a text and phone call and ignored then then I get a bill in the mail saying I started a policy so I call and say wtf and said I dont want it because how they made me feel by pushing it and that *** said he was sorry about that and started bringing up that I should keep it and they can get a better rate and whatever and I told him he was doing the same **** thing. They are the worst people to deal with especially trying to end the policy

      We left american income thank goodness for better life insurance and courtesy of this company giving our information out to everyone under the sun I get probably 20 calls a month from other people talking about our garbage life insurance policy that we honestly don't even have with American Income anymore! SO RUDE! If they weren't harassing us to add c*** plans to our policies now we're getting harassed from other brokers. So disappointing...

      My husband received a call from *** ********* saying he wanted to go over his life policy that the union pays for and my husband being the person he is agreed on the meeting. *** told him that I had to be there as the beneficiary. I've been in insurance for a decade and knew this was a sales call. *** started going into his conversation and immediately said he needed to see if we would qualify, I told him since I worked in the insurance field we didn't need to buy any more life insurance because we were covered. He said his bosses made him go through the conversation and he was being recorded so they watch him. I reminded him again that my husband and I were good and out of respect we were there because the union was supposedly giving him a policy. I still don't know if that was correct or not but thinking it was all bull. *** then says he needs to do a needs analysis for us and I told him he didn't have to do it because we have plenty of insurance. Of course he didn't listen and comes back that we needed to buy a "Freedom of Choice" policy so if we died we would have a policy for the funeral home. He asked what funeral home we would use and I told him we didn't know but again we DO NOT need this policy. He then got irritated and said if we didn't have a policy that assigned the funeral home we would have to have a go fund me account to pay for the funeral. He said this multiple times and I got up and said we are food and said that I didn't trust him and I didn't need his services. I walked away and he said to my husband, "since she knows everything we are done." YES, you greedy sales person who give the rest of us bad reputations, I do know a lot. I also know that I wouldn't give you a ***** of my money.

      My father passed at the end on Oct. 23, 2024. In November, I realized he had a policy with AIL and notified them of his passing. The amount of paperwork required to be submitted by my Dad's doctor was ridiculous so I decided it was not worth trying to file a claim. I am not mad about that. What I am mad about, is how they continue to bill his account for the policy even though they have been notified of his death. I have submitted the documentation showing he has passed to his **** and TWO different AIL generic emails that have teams behind them to process this request and they continue to ignore me. I called in and they said the policy has to be transferred to me to cancel, but they will not even handle that. The only thing this company appears to be good at is taking money from the elderly and the deceased....

      The representative they have working for this company is unreal, untrustworthy and definitely unprofessional. **** ****** seem to be nice as he asked me to give him the names of (1) beneficiary and (1) contingency. Than he asked for (2) emergency contacts. I tried to give him the same names as my beneficiary/contingency being that those are the same people I would like them to contact during an emergency. But ***** told me that the people had to be different. So after telling him I have no one that I rather, he suggested a cousins or a friend. So I gave him 2 more different people against my better judgment. To summarize this up, ***** call all four people, Used my name as to how he got their numbers and told each of them that they were my beneficiary, that they needed to set up a zoom meeting with him to discuss it further all to end up just offering my family life insurance. ***** made it mandatory that I give him those extra names in order for him to have more business opportunities to promote and sale the companys insurance. He called all 4 of them the same day, My family members were calling me asking me whats going on they were so confused. When I called ***** to ask him to cancel everything because I did not want to do business with the company anymore, and to stop all communication with my family because I didnt give him my family members numbers for promotional reasons, sales tactics or his financial gain. He told me that he hopes my life gets better for me because clearly my anger towards him is a reflection of my life. Left my mouth wide open. I told him I will be contacting his company to complain on him and hung up the phone.

      Have had a policy on my wife for over 20 years. She passed away over 2 weeks ago and this company keeps stalling on sending me (the beneficiary) the amount owed upon her death. I had to pay for her cremation, etc. out of pocket. I immediately had sent in the forms, death certificate, etc. they requested but am still getting the runaround about when they will send out the check. Had I known this about AIL, I would never have bought a policy from them. Also, now they say they can't tell me the amount due when it says exactly what the amount is on their form. They also shut me out of the website before settling this.

      My agent called and said that he was represented by my union. He initially started out by saying I was no eligible for X, Y and Z benefits.I thought that was great, as I'd just passed my probationary year and updated my beneficiary. Turns out, this agent was an insurance agent who got my information from this card. He was not a representative of my union.Halfway through an hour-long Zoom call (which I was told would take ***** minutes) he brings up the monthly rates for this coverage. Initially, I was led to believe this was existing coverage being added to my current policy. It was not.Lied about being even remotely involved with my union, and lied about the coverage being added to my existing plan? I'm ****** I tried calling the company to cancel. They don't even have a manned phone line during off-hours and have to be called during a 10-hour window.I haven't been billed and won't be (allegedly) for the next week, so I will be calling first thing tomorrow and cancelling. If I end up being billed, I will pursue every legal avenue to recover my costs.Beyond shady business practices, incredibly disappointing.

      I canceled my account but they are still taking money out of my account
