Awful company. My husband and I thought we had set up a term life policy only to find out we were being charged for an accident and cancer policy. I called to cancel and after 3 weeks I finally got the cancellation forms in the mail. I sent them in right away and I keep getting the premium bill in the mail. I called again and after another 3 weeks got cancellation forms to fill out again. I sent them in again right away and now today I got another premium notice in the mail, which I am not paying. Sure would hate to try to have to submit a claim. American Income Life does not even deserve a one star.American Income Life Insurance Company

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE FRAUDULENT!! We purchased life insurance policies for our family. We sent in a cancellation notice in September of 2021. They cancelled all but one of our family members. They insist that you use an automatic withdraw from your checking account. We had purchased other insurance so I did not realize that they were still withdrawing money from my account. The description was AIL INS, when I called the bank they had no phone number listed. Being that this was an automatic withdraw they could not just stop it without having to close down our whole checking account which was out of the question because all of our bills for multiple members and businesses come out of that account. We finally were able to determine which company this was. When we called they couldn't even find our account, we had to be transferred to different departments. They finally were able to locate the account number. They found our original emails but now are claiming they need a form to be completed before they can cancel the policy. I have sent this form in four times and have STILL not received the refund. They were still drafting the auto pay up until last month. We have contacted them on numerous occasions, their support department is so rude, after waiting on hold and being transferred numerous times we would be disconnected. Worst customer service ever. When they need to contact you they call over and over and over 5, 6, 7 times with no voicemail. Then send a text saying you need to call them immediately but dont say who they are or what they need. I finally canceled, or so I thought, only to get multiple calls, texts, voicemails and letters including seven calls in the last 24 hours. Also very flakey when they make an appointment dont often call. I cant wait to be free of this company.American Income Life Insurance Company

Unfortunately, there is no option to rate it "Zero" stars out of 5. This entire company, as their own employee stated, is "unethical" (they record their calls for training purposes, so it's on record), and they do not provide clear communication about the policy payments; they withdraw money from your account after you've called to cancel, and when you follow-up to ask why you're being charged after cancelling, you're put on hold for 30 minutes, then hung up on. When you were told a form would be sent in the mail, the next person says, "Oh we can just email that." Tons of misinformation and miscommunication from each representative. When I explain all of this, they show zero professionalism and act like it's an acceptable and normal business practice. They're all about taking your money and hoping you won't notice. With 817 reviews on this site, and a score of 1 out of 5 stars, which would likely be closer to "Zero" if that were an option, it's very clear this is not a trustworthy business. There is no excuse for their poor service and scam of a company. If you're looking for insurance, choose another place! This is a zero star rating. They don't deserve a one. My grandma had a life insurance policy on me with this company. My grandma passed away recently. Someone came to my home and gave me the forms to close the account and reimburse me. So I sent all the information in and nothing happened. They sent me another form, I sent it in and again nothing happened. I contacted them and they said they needed my grandma's death certificate. I sent that in and again I received no contact with them. So I contacted them again and they said they needed another closing form sent in, so I faxed that over. And nothing ever came of that fax. I feel that this company used the death of my grandma to keep the money that she invested in me. I feel like they didn't care at all. This was personal and hurtful to me. This company is made of greed. I advise to never use this company for life insurance as they will keep all your money.American Income Life Insurance Company

Less than zero.First a couple policies were supposedly deleted when I called to change my direct deposit then my *** supposedly escalated it to no avail. Upon my follow up, she just quit responding to me altogether. Ive since called and left messages and also written in to the chat program that is supposed to send issues to customer care. No one answers.I dont know what kind, but its a scam for sure!Now I need to get my last policy to cancel and pray my bank will stop payment for me.American Income Life Insurance Company

Please do not utilize American Income Life, my husband and I were tricked and and pressured into buying multiple policies, different ACH amounts have been drawn from our accounts with no explanation when we call, you never get the same agent, there is NO consistency and they do not care about you. I tried canceling 4 policies 8 weeks ago and they still have not processed my cancellations even though they have the signed paperwork to do so.....please do yourself a favor and stay away from American Income Life.American Income Life Insurance Company

If I could give zero stars I would, these people are ridiculous to deal with. They're super quick to take your money but if you want to cancel it's a huge ordeal. After everything we had to deal with to get our policies canceled, I honestly think this company scams people by not being truthful and upfront about everything.
