I obtained a ***** of ******** so I could take care of my mothers passing and arrange things ahead of time. I sent the *** to them but it was "misplaced". Eventually after sending it again it was registered and I was able to get info. All they would still give is basic information. Because they were so slow, evasive, and not responsive at all, my mother passed and *** was no longer valid. I was able to call to see if check had been sent to my brother several times and was told no. My mom passed in August. Now in October after calling again, I'm told now they need information for my brother who is listed as executor of the policy. All info they have, and info not relayed to us until almost 3 months later. It fell on me to take care of all the arrangements and to pay for her services. I need to add the amount of the payout was less than $2,000. Because of her age she pays her premiums each month, and they get to reduce her payout each month. This has been an extremely frustrating and drawn out process. It's hard enough to lose a parent without having to jump thru hoops and then be stalled either by being ignored or not informed as to what is needed. I was told to fax death certificate. How hard would it of been to give a full accounting of what other info is needed. I would never do business with this company. I don't like being made to feel like I am being taken advantage of by not being given all the info they wanted.American Income Life Insurance Company

Was asked several times not to contact myself or my family, but persisted leaving messages on my phone 3 in a row on a Sunday evening between 7pm-9pm. When I again asked him ti atop harassing me he started talking down to me. Then apologized for startling me. I am not startled by this company, I am ****** off an disgusted that they are using military families for their get rich pyramid scheme. I am disgusted that they harass military families against their request and will not stop calling our family. I am disgusted by their lack of consideration. And they have absolutely no respect for military members or their family. This company is fraudulent and nothing but scammers trying to get your credit card information. **** and his coworkers need to burn in h*** and LEAVE ** ALONE. Horrible company, I would not recommend at all. They call all the time and bother you with all kinds of nonsense. Everyone is a manager in the company, at least that's what they claim. It's no wonder they have terrible reviews!!!!American Income Life Insurance Company

I am leaving an honest review from experience. Firstly, I bought this policy from a door-to-door salesperson, the presentation was on point and I was pleased by what was offered. About a year in my husband and I were reading through the reviews and were saddened by what we read, it was concerning and we thought about canceling due to negative reviews, not anything the company actually did.
We held on for another few months just discussing it and then my husband was injured at work. The first few phone calls to AIL were concerning, different people gave different info and it was confusing. We were unhappy with the fact that the automated system seems to just disconnect after being on hold for a while was infuriating.
But my husband with all his patience kept calling until he reached someone who was both knowledgeable and helpful, our claim was accepted and money was received. What we learned, this isn't a scam but new agents can make it seem so. The claim process was actually painless, there is only 1 form.
Most people don't read the policy until something happens, ours was very straightforward and easy to read through, and the benefits are clearly laid out. I feel that we made the right decision and wanted to share our experience with others who may be having trouble navigating the system.
Don't be intimidated. This was really helpful in a time of uncertainty.

Avoid ail at all costs. they refuse to contact in timely manner, refuse availability, lie and forge/modify agreements without consent. I never received any of my docs proving coverage they claim they took money and provided coverage but without proof. **************** is a joke and unhelpful at best. previous "agents" are unable to be contacted. I'm awaiting a full refund and currently in discussions with a lawyer over their fraud/theft and horrible service if they continue to be difficult.American Income Life Insurance Company

If I could go negative with stars I would. Agent lied to my mother about canceling my sister's life policy. Sister wanted to cash it out/close it for bills. Since then they've been pulling out quarterly payments for this loan. Tried calling. On hold for over an hour when someone picks up to hang up the phone forcing me to call back again. Seeing as how there isn't an option to cancel your policy you must hit 3 to contact changes. Second time after fifteen minutes they pick up. My mother at this time had to run to the pharmacy. I jokingly said take your time I'll probably still be on hold. Omg they pick up. Give them policy number etc. Said I'm sure you'll have to talk with her. I'll call her to add to the call. That won't be except able sir. I've never heard of a company unable to do that. I've also never seen a company with a A+ rating from the bbb with as many negative reviews as I've just read.American Income Life Insurance Company

An agent from this company called my husband saying she was a representative from my husband's union and scheduled a Zoom meeting call with **** ********* The day after this call, we realized they were a third-party company and have nothing to do with my husband's union. We've contacted their office @ *************, and called **** ******** to ask them to cancel the policy purchase and revoke authorization to withdraw money from our bank account. We even left a text message. We'll see how American Income Life Insurance handles this case.American Income Life Insurance Company

This company has been give the runaround for two months and counting!!! I call twice a week keep saying well mail out the 9/12/ 2022 its was to and old address its their fault when I mailed the paperwork it's the correct address on it I called back well they change your address mail it back out well I call they said you will have to call back on Friday to see when it will be mailed back out I am tried of this !!! They will always say call back on Friday you get different responses!! for different ones it's to hard trying to get that is old to you as of the 10/14/2022 still getting the runaround I have asked can I just come to pick-up it up they said no !!we have to mail it dosen't make sense .I see on here their are other people are going through What I am going throughAmerican Income Life Insurance Company
