Yap my husband pass away in july still no payment Every time i call them they said i need to send another document today they said that the funrale home put the wrong policy number on the form . Why it took them almost 3 month to tell me this ? It a pain in the @@@ I wonder what gonna ask for next time i callAmerican Income Life Insurance Company

I just wanted to cancel my policy. I left them several messages, now I have to write them emails because they are still charging my account. Now I probably won't get any of that money back. This reminds me of the offensive and aggressive sales techniques we used to get from door to door solicitors before it was outlawed.
"They have agents calling ** after business hours pretty much every week to say we need to "update information on our policy" and sucker you into taking out another life insurance policy that you don't need. We never were able to speak to the same agent, as it appears every time we did it was a different person calling us and saying, "Your policy crossed my desk" etc."
Is basically about right with our experience. Countless calls. Just got of the phone with this and almost could not believe I was getting really annoyed and yelling at the guy becuase he would not shutup and answer questions and listen to me. What the **** is this "update and review the policy to make sure we understand and "remember" all the details". Sounds like complete ******** to get us manipulated into upsells no effing doubt. If nothing is wrong with our policy and we don't have to sign anything and if we do not want to waste our time reviewing something we already reviewed then whats the point? And to be talked over multiple times by this aggressive approach and him repeating the same idiotic **** over and not letting me talk is complete and utter *** Got to your bank and find a policy. Its better than getting harassed and dealing with this ****. Just from this experience we don't insurance from you and I am going to try to convince my wife to cancel. Feeling like being treated like an idiot. Way to go AIL!American Income Life Insurance Company

This Insurance Company will tell you lies in order to get your business. They will omit the truth in order to get your business, due to their earnings being commission based. My wife and I signed up for Life Insurance as well as Hospital and Accidental coverage, due to my wife's yearly operation. Our caseworker told ** she would be paid some much for her hospital stays. We specifically asked him if being on ******** would alter it. He told us no so w continued with signing up and paying for these policies. After my wife was in the hospital for 13 days, we gave AIL the paperwork to be reimbursed through the Hospital policy. After time after time of having to resend paperwork, they contacted **, saying ******** has taken it. We were stumped because we were told ******** would not take it when we first signed up. When we called to cancel this and to have it rectified, we were told they would give us a refund because we were not told the correct information. It has been 3 months and nothing from our caseworker(s). No refund. Have had caseworkers leave our policy without telling **. This company gives out misinformation and omits information in order to get your business! Buyer BEWARE!! They will say anything in order to get your business, and when they get it, they will ignore you while continuing to take from your bank account. When you do get through to someone, they are super nice, but when you hang up nothing is ever done!!!American Income Life Insurance Company

(I want to leave no stars, but it won't allow it) We were loyal customers with American Income Life since ****. For 20 years, we have held polices for ourselves, our children and burial coverage policies. All was well until 2017. We had a new agent, ****, who convinced us to up our coverage. We were never able to get copies of the new policies emailed or mailed to us. In 2021, he then contacted us again by phone and email, wanting us to convert one of my policies to a whole term with payout at age 65, this upped our premiums once again. Never was able to get those copies delivered to us either. Last week, got a call from a new agent. Wants us to up our policies again, looked at our previous records and said **** never did convert our policies and they can't tell me what the upped premium was for, PLUS suddenly a couple of policies are set to expire and our premiums will skyrocket from 320 a month to 550..... In the midst of cancelling all policies and contemplating litigation dependent upon how this issue will be resolved. VERY disheartening that a company that my husband's union, The Local 49ers, believed in and trusted would treat long standing customers this way. I get the feeling that we have too big of policies too cheaply because of how long we have had them and they want to push us out the door.American Income Life Insurance Company

They are horrible i canceled the policy in September 2022...and they are still going into my account and taking money by putting me in a negative post. I have never accepted any upgrades that were given to me by ***********, never spoke to **** who was supposed to call you after the agent speaks with you, i was not interested in the upgrades. Received literature in mail from **** *********** of *********** of which American Income LIfe Insurance is affiliated . Signed up with an Agent from Company , which was VERY PERSISTENT upon joining . Decided to cancel policy after giving info over phone . Policy sounded too good to be true . COULD NOT CANCEL POLICY . VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE . HAD TO CONTACT BANK TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT . I contacted AILIC . Waited 30 minutes on phone to talk with **************** with no results . Dealing with transferring calls and calling other recommended numbers within the Company with NO RESULTS . .............. " Easy to join Company . " COULD NOT IMAGINE THE PROBLEMS OF FILING A CLAIM . This company is by far the worst insurance company in existence! My DAUGHTER was listed on her father's policy as a rider and when she had a slip and fall accident back in February 2022, she was told that she could receive benefits. She STILL has yet to receive the benefits. She's been told that the there was an error and that she was listed as a male in the beginning. Then she was told that the process to correct it would mean starting all over. Then she was told that the "check is in the mail", "it should arrive to you any day now" - this was in AUGUST!!! Here it is OCTOBER 7TH AND STILL NOTHING! We don't want anymore excuses, no more "we're sorry for your inconvenience", JUST GIVE HER THE BENEFITS THAT SHE IS ENTITLED TO HAVING! She has called twice a week, some times three times a week since the incident only to receive the RUN AROUND! THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER! Next stop is to contact the Attorney General to get them involved!American Income Life Insurance Company
