  Last month we were in Myrtle Beach, SC, and stopped for a car wash at Zips. We were in line with others and the attendant walked up to our window and said they were having a $8 car wash promotion. We took it as it was a good deal (for our car wash) and he handed us a card and stuck a bar code on our windshield . He talked so fast and pushed us through to get to the next customer. We just received our VISA and had a charge for $50 on it! We called and told them we didNOT want it. There are NO Zips car washes in our area in VA. They said well let us look…”oh no there are none.” They cancelled our supposed agreement for the future but REFUSED TO REFUND the $50 they had already charged us. They said “ we don’t do that”! I’ve heard from on other person that this had happened to them. Anyone else?? This is not fair. They took our money for no service and will not refund it.

  Best cat wash in *****. Absolutely the worst management in *****. Had an issue with one of their policies.Been a monthly pass owner for two years. All "manager" wanted to do was argue, would not listen to my concerns. ****, aggressive, arrogant and completely uninterested in any thing but defending her policy. I had some items in the bed of my truck that they would not accept in the wash. One was a three pound hammer,which they insisted would blow out. Well not unless it has a parachute attached. Beware they will climb into the bed of your truck, without saying a word, and proceed to remove anything they find "unacceptable". Don't advise you what they are doing, no explanation. No regard for personal property you may have in the truck bed. They just proceed to remove whatever they want. No concern for what personal items may be in the bed of my PERSONAL vehicle. All they want to do is remove what THEY want. No regard for personal vehicle or personal items in back. They just want to argue with you. I get the policy, but I do not get the liberties they take with personal property with our even advising you their intentions. Worst attitude on behalf of the "manger" I've seen in a long time. Good wash, just hope you have no contact with woman who asserts she is the manager, and there is no one in the company with higher or more authority. Pretty strong argument for better carwashes snd management that only defends a policy, without actually listening to the real issue.

  It’s clear that this company is running an unmitigated scam. I signed up for the monthly. ($10) and it jumped to 30 bucks. When I went in to
  Get a car was I charged for the monthly and regular fee for the wash… each… time…
  I haven’t been back in 6 months and was still getting charged even after I’ve asked them to stop. I’m disputing charges and changing my CC number. At this point I don’t want a refund, I want an investigation into their business.
  I hope the company doesn’t exist in a year and the C-level staff are charged seeing as they are horrible people.

  After going to Rocket since it opened. And having a vehicle with safety features in the window. The sticker they put on my windshield would not read. So, they gave me a pass on the honor system which I followed. Long story short, I got a new vehicle with the same safety equipment and they wanted to put a sticker on the window. When I told them it would not work, the manager said yes it would and was VERY condescending towards me. I sell this tech also and know it is an issue. So I had them update my vehicle in their system. I went to use it today and the manager had cancelled my membership and said I would get a refund for the unused portion (which I still do not have). They need to switch to license plate readers like their competitors. Needless to say, they will not get my business.

  I paid for a $10 car wash on 12/7/2023. I just discovered ZIPS has been charging my credit card $45 a month ever since. I tried calling them first but was not able to reach anyone. The charges have been reported to my bank and the card canceled.

  Every time I go there my sticker doesn’t scan and they say they are going to fix it but it repeatedly happens. The quality has gone downhill at the Hickory location. They don’t even spray the car before entering. The quality needs to be looked at by corporate. Now they say I have one car for monthly wash but they charge for 2. They need someone to respond to their customers but they never answer the phone at corporate or help at the local store

  On 02/20/2024, I purchased a one-time car wash for $10 and did not sign up for any membership or monthly plan. After paying for the one-time wash, I left and did not return. However, on 04/18/2024, I noticed that my card had been charged for a monthly plan without my consent. This leads me to believe that the business may be fraudulent. I advise against using any bank card at this establishment and suggest using cash or visiting a different business altogether.

  I would like to start by saying I really liked the Zips location I was going to until they hired a new manager, at the 4035 Challenger Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.
  About 2 months ago, my husband and this manager, a small bearded man had words and he was banned from the location. My husband apologized and bought a membership. We live 20 minutes from this location and were not able to get our moneys worth and canceled. I went back today to get my car washed and this man asked if I was a member? I said no, he said do you want to hear about the membership? I said no, and before I could explain why, he states " don't come back here if you can't be respectful, there is no way you know about membership" he ranted and accused me again of being disrespectful and when I responded, " I thought I was" he said "far from it" and as he was walking away again told me not to come back.
  I can assure you that I will not, but it is sad because I will not be sure that everyone I run into knows of my experience. Sad, sad man......

  Zips car wash is NOT worth the price! We went through the car wash TWICE in a row and my 4Runner was still filthy dirty!! So after our experience I decided to cancel our membership that we had just started. After I cancelled, I made sure the app said that I did not have a membership and it did so I assumed that I had successfully cancelled my membership. However, yesterday I checked my bank account and Zips had charged me even though I had cancelled. When I messaged them, and called them, they refused to refund my money and I had to message them FOUR times to get them to hopefully actually cancel my account!! I will be filing a charge back with my bank. DO NOT FALL for their membership SCAM! They will charge you regardless if you “cancel” and then make it almost IMPOSSIBLE to cancel through their actual support.
