      I cannot actually get a hold of anyone - local one closed, no one at the place and I cannot find out why. They are taking my money. They are awful. Have to go through my bank.

      I have been a member for several years. There have been car wash services open closer to me but I’m pretty loyal as a customer. However, the last 2 times I have driven across town to find Zip’s closed for no apparent reason. I know it’s hard to get help these days but there could be some type text sent out to members that a faculty is temporarily closed. The vacuums rarely work, but I think that whenever you provide something free, those who don’t pay don’t take care to throw away things too big to vacuum & stop them up. I would suggest they figure out a way to let only paying customers or members have access to vacuums. I tried to cal & cancel membership but after holding for over 25 minutes I gave up. I’ll go by facility & cancel.(I called at 8:35 AM so this should have been during regular business hours). I’m loyal when there is good customer services but the customer service is awful

      They scratched my brand new Ford Lighting - 22" long scratch across 3 body panels. The manger admitted fault and apologized then filed the damage claim on my behalf, but 13 hours later, Zips corporate denied the claim stating "our machines use soft brushes and they could not cause this, and we have a policy of only paying for scratches at least 4 - 6" in length.... meaning, they didn't even look at the pictures or read my claim. They also told me I didn't report it the same day, when I reported it immediately without leaving the site(and the on-site manager admitted they caused it).
      22" long nasty scratches on my brand new $90K truck, and they won't pay for it. I'm a member too... well, not anymore.

      Zips in Saukville is charging our account multiple times per month. They did the same to grandma. Their phone number is never open to calls and says they are unavailable. The vacuums are never running and there’s never any towels. They don’t pre spray anymore either. Waist of money.

      The Zip's on ************* in ***** did not provide the services paid for on a consistent basis and when I tried 3 times to close my account and cease withdrawals, the company had an excuse each month for why it did not comply requesting me to be patient and wait until the following billing cycle for it to stop. It never did so when that did not happen, I filed a complaint with ********** about **** who put a stop to the withdrawals and charged back the fee. After giving ***** service rep the information to investigate the claim, the bank reversed the charge from my account. That offended me even more that ***'s would not admit to the 3 cancellation attempts since 10/20, 11/6, and 11/16 to follow up and spoke to *** (****) case #*******, and was supposed to send an email to confirm but did not and was charged again 12/04/23.Our family tries to support our community businesses. They had great people working at the car wash, but the service is only is good as the product. The machines kept breaking down or one side was not working or there would be a large waxy film on the car or it would just come out of the machines dirty. I was told they would upgrade the machines in December when I requested to cancel the service contract. I refused to wait and the upgrade did not happen even in December. Very frustrating to pay $45 a month for poor service and a dirty car emerge from the wash machine with very poor performance. One star for the employees on site and one for when the machines actually worked, the product and service was great.

      They have repeatedly charged my bank account without my permission. I spoke to a representative at the end of last year and have the emails to back it up and they reassured me it was taken care of. Log back onto my bank account to find they have started charging me again. I do not go to this carwash. I did not sign up for a membership and they are charging my bank account illegally.

      Zips is a JOKE! My car got stuck in the wash for over 10 minutes. With the spinner slapping my back windshield. I had to honk the horn to finally get someone's attention and then another 5 minutes before they finally shut the machine off. I requested a refund. They said they do not issue refunds at the office I needed to call. I called, and they offered me a free wash. I said NO, I do not want to risk having my vehicle in your wash again. The two teenagers or young 20-year-olds working that day had no clue as to what to do. They said they would escalate my request. This incident occurred on 1/23/24. I am still trying to get someone in "management" to give me a refund. DO NOT PUT YOUR VEHICLE AT RISK AND USE THEIR FACILITIES - A HUGE LIABILITY.

      Worst business I have ever used. Sold monthly service and wash has been out of order each time I go. Attendent says co not good with maintenance.

      Zips Customer Service is terrible. I attempted to cancel my monthly membership as the value to cost was not measuring up to my expectations. Upon sending my written request to cancel my membership, I was offered a retention proposal of $15 a month for 3 months to stay. I politely declined the offer and requested to proceed with the cancellation. Then the next day, I was charged $45 for the next month's service fees after I requested cancellation. When I questioned the customer service department, I was given some bogus excuse of cancellations must be 7 days or more prior to the service anniversary date. So I relented as I didn't know that particular policy and asked if instead of charging me $45 for an extra month of service I didn't want, could you extend me the retention offer again instead for $15 a month for 3 months (same cost but I'd get 3 months instead of 1) and their reply basically, "I'm sorry you can't read, here's a link to our policy. Have a nice day".
      Not a very good way to do business and coming to the BBB just confirms my suspicion on how terrible of a company this is. Car washes are a dime a dozen in my area so replacing them is going to be easy but I'm hoping leaving this review might help someone else avoid a terrible customer experience in the future.

      If I can give 0 stars I would!
      Zips scratched my vehicle during the 2nd wash after getting my membership AND REFUSED TO REPAIR THE SCRATCHES. I believe the scratch occurred from the kids who scrubbed it the wrong way with the brush prior to entering the wash, OR from faulty and not well maintained equipment inside the wash. Stay Away! Unless you want your car to be damaged. I cancelled my membership.
