I would like to share my terrible experience with this store so that anyone who has the opportunity to read this review will think carefully before entering. I purchased an item from the store on August 25, 2024, which was supposed to be paid for biweekly through automatic deductions they made using a credit card. My contract expired on February 23, 2025, and on February 24, 2025, I contacted ********* the person with whom I purchased the item, to find out when the payment was due. She told me that at that point I only had one payment left, less than the installment I was paying. I was surprised to see that the next charge wasn't the amount they had told me, but rather they deducted the entire installment. When I contacted the store, they blamed me for not having paid the last installment for the product on time, even though they had an automatic charge. Since then, I've tried to contact the store manager, but I've been unable to. Apparently, this person is never there. I've been in contact with Ms. ********* who, apparently wanting to help me, made me pay an amount on March 25, 2025, which closed the contract and canceled my supposed debt with them. On March 26, 2025, I called the store again and spoke with the man who handles the accounts to find out if my account had really been canceled, and he assured me that it had, that the system showed I owed nothing. But it was another scam. This woman used my card that day to make the supposed last payment and set it up for automatic payment again. After two weeks, they tried to charge me another installment to that card without my authorization. I called the store, and her response was that her boss hadn't authorized her to cancel this debt yet. In my opinion, these people offer clients misleading and misleading contracts to force them into debt, and then when you complain, you receive evasive answers and poor treatment.Business Response

Ms. ****** entered into a written contract in the form of a Rental-Purchase Agreement that contained all disclosures mandated by applicable state law.
Despite numerous attempts, our District Manager has been unable to reach Mr. ****** to resolve the complaint. After an internal investigation, we have found no evidence to suggest that any unauthorized payments were made. We request her to return our communications so we can discuss her complaint.

I have rented from rent a center for almost 3 years. Ive rented several items over these years and i have been on auto pay. Recently when *********** crashed my account was knocked out of bill pay and the store manager reached out to me about the payment. I was told it was one amount and then it changed to another. I asked questions but never got any answers. I requested to speak to a regional manager and was told i could not. After about a month of going back and forth i was able to talk to someone. After speaking to thios manager i found out that money was being taken from the company by several employees. I paid off my things and was still being charged for other things. They took around 3k of my money but only offered to pay back $176. I need someone to help me get my money back. This is unfair and morally wrong.Business Response
